Initial Expectations: It’s been quite a while since I’ve checked out a John Leslie movie. He’s been fairly hit or miss for me, so I’m not quite sure what to expect here.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very well done. It’s clear and well balanced for the most part, and the few times there are background noises they feel like they belong in the scene (which I don’t doubt with John Leslie’s reputation). The video is also very well done. There’s a touch of grain, but Leslie often uses filters with his video to give it a slightly more artistic look. The lighting varies a little, but never so much to interfere with the action. There’s a few times it doesn’t seem on purpose, but with Leslie’s reputation I just can’t be sure.

Music: There’s very little music in the movie. The third scene has music quietly in the background, and enhances the scene very well.

Menus: As usual, the menus are nicely done. The main menu nicely works together a little animation, a still, and a bit of the movie. The chapter menu is also nicely done, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the group of chapters, the chapter numbers, and either a title for the scene or a listing of the ladies in the scene.

The Feature

Veronica da Souza is a dark haired beauty with skin that’s just dark enough to suggest a hint of the Mediterranean, a fantastic natural rack, and an ass to die for. Scene 1 - Veronica Da Souza, Frank Gun, and Frank Mayer

As always, John helps things out with a nice comment or two and his camera work is pretty straightforward here. This is a relaxed yet hot way to start off the movie.

Scene 2 - Veronica Da Souza, Sharka Blue, Greg Centauro, and Neeo

Normally I like to see a bit more interaction between the couples in a group scene like this, but the voyeuristic aspect between the two groups worked well enough here that I found myself enjoying the scene much more than others like it. This is a very nicely done scene with plenty of heat.

Scene 3 - Veronica Da Souza and Zenza Raggi

When Veronica and Zenza go for a walk down the street, they can’t keep their hands off each other. Her hand slides down to his ass before he lets her know that her attention is more than welcome. There’s tons of passion and chemistry throughout the scene, and I found both of my heads smiling throughout the entire scene. The scene also works very well technically, with some great music in the background that makes the bathroom seem like it’s right in the middle of a busy club where Zenza and Veronica could be interrupted at any time. This scene works great to show how John Leslie minimalist feel, but at the same time it makes you realize just how skilled he is behind the camera to pull it off. This scene is easily one of the hottest couples scenes I’ve seen come out this year.

Scene 4 - Veronica Da Souza, Choky Ice, James Brossman, and Bob Terminator

Veronica shows up wearing a sexy black dress and fishnets at Choky’s place when the guys are playing a little pool. Although part of me would have liked Veronica to get fuck a little more in this scene, I can’t deny that it’s a hot scene and a very good end to the movie.

Let me say right off that I had one problem with Veronica daSouza: Some Piece of Ass!. With a title like that, I expected this piece of ass to take it in the ass. Although she isn’t shy of sucking another girl’s ass off a guy’s cock, she never actually takes more than a tongue to her own. Now let me say just as quickly that I don’t care! Yes, I’d love to see Veronica take a bone up the butt, but she does such a great job throughout the movie that I was completely satisfied without her doing it. Anal fans needn’t worry, however, as Sharka Blue and Jennifer Stone are both more than willing to get fucked up the ass for their viewing pleasure, as well as their own. John Leslie does a very nice job giving Veronica a nice range of scenes with her taking on from one to three other people, but her one on one with Zenza Raggi is easily the best of the bunch with passion that just doesn’t stop. There’s some very nice attention given to the foreplay in each scene, and there’s always plenty of chemistry to go around. For that reason, I think Veronica daSouza will work just as well for couples as it will for raincoaters. The camera work and editing is also very well done, and I don’t think there was a single moment in the movie when I wanted a different camera angle. Unless you’re looking for something with a story, no men, or cream pies, make sure you check out Veronica daSouza: Some Piece of Ass.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery contains over fifty very nice looking snapshots and full screen photos. A cast listing by scene is included, as well as filmographies for all three of the lovely ladies in the movie. There’s also extra footage, a bio for John Leslie, cumshot recaps, and website information.

The extra footage is nicely broken down by scene, and lasts just shy of thirty six minutes. There’s a couple words from John Leslie, but my main impression was that there was very little done to the movie after this footage was cut out. The first two scenes get about five minutes of footage, the third scene gets about eight minutes, and the fourth scene gets about eighteen minutes. Perhaps the biggest thing to stand out to me in this collection of footage is the lack of music in the third scene. The music struck me as being well done when I first watched the scene, and after watching the extra footage it only impressed me more. I was also kind of surprised by how much footage was cut from the fourth scene. There’s some strong stuff here, and after watching it I couldn’t help but wish that the original scene would have been a bit longer. This is a nice collection of extra footage, and should work just as well for the stroker as the person who’s curious about what was cut from the movie.

Currently, most of Evil Angel’s DVDs can be found online for between about $18 and $30, with a few stores offering them in the $20 range. This one’s well worth the money. Yes, Veronica is in every scene, and is more than able to carry the movie with John Leslie behind the camera. The technical aspects are nicely done and there’s some decent effort put into the extras as well. I can’t help but highly recommend this one as well as giving it a very long lasting spot on my wall.

Note to Evil Angel / John Leslie: I’m not sure what to hope for more here, a “Some Piece of Ass” series with different girls or for Veronica to do a follow up to this one!
