The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Marie & Jack: A Hardcore Love Story blew me away. I hope it didn’t get my hopes up too high for Xana and Dax!

Initial Reaction: It’s had me smiling for over an hour now, and I’m sure it’s going to continue into tomorrow.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. There’s a bit of an amateur feel now and then, but here I think that’s done on purpose. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, and I don’t think I heard a single background noise. The video is also nicely done. It has a little grain to it for artistic effect, or maybe just to make the viewer think of how cool the movie would be if it were shot on film. It’s very well lit, but there is a little camera motion and a few fast edits.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu is extremely simple, and gives the choices along with the still from the boxcover. For most movies this wouldn’t work for me, but here it does.

The Feature

Xana is a blonde with a stud under her lower lip, a huge back tattoo, and great blue eyes while her lover Dax is a dark Brazilian with shoulder length hair who was apparently kicked out of the country for not being a she-male. They talk about how they met after eying each other at a couple parties and talking to their friends about how attracted they were to each other, their different backgrounds, their feelings for each other, and things that they want to make sure each other knows. As they talk, their dialogue is mixed with short clips of them making love. Afterwards you get to see all of the action.

Scene 1 - Xana Star and Dax Star

Xana and Dax start out with some soft kissing as they strip each other down. Dax can’t resist going after Xana’s great natural tits with his tongue, and they kiss passionately with Xana moving down to kiss Dax’s nipples as well while the camera moves around them to absorb as much of their bodies as possible. They sixty-nine a little as they play before Xana moves down to wrap her tits and her mouth around Dax’s cock. They mix in a bit more sixty-nining before Dax slides in behind Xana to start fucking her from behind. Xana climbs up to ride Dax cowgirl style so he can suck on her big fat titties, and then slides off to play with his ass a little. It seems to be just what Dax needs, as he soon lets loose with a pop that Xana catches in her mouth before coming up to kiss him. Afterwards she goes back down to kiss and lick the cum off his stomach before coming back up to kiss and cuddle with him.

There are a few things that really turn me off in general for some people. My top three would probably be studs under the lower lip, huge tattoos, and canvas Converse shoes. With the run Xana’s on here, I wouldn’t be surprised if she had the shoes to complete my checklist. I should have been very turned off by her, but I just couldn’t be. She is a thing of beauty and has such a great smile, a wonderful set of eyes, and a feeling of love for Dax that I was in awe of her mere minutes into the movie. Dax, on the other hand, is someone that I think almost every woman out there who watches porn would want to see more of. He’s a good looking guy with a natural body and a shy but easy smile, and once again you can feel that fantastic feeling of love. There’s no denying the feelings between Xana and Dax, and five minutes into the movie they’ve got a better feeling of chemistry going than some of the best directors out there can do in a half hour plus sex scene. Xana and Dax are good looking and unique people who have plenty of passion to keep the movie going. I love how they mix things up a little as they fuck and how they aren’t afraid to stretch out the foreplay. There’s such a great feeling between Xana and Dax that part of me felt like I was intruding by watching them.

The other thing that drives Xana and Dax: When Opposites Attract is the camera work and editing. The camera work nicely mixes camera angles to let you feel like you’re seeing everything you’d want to during the sex scene and they’re edited together pretty well. They sometimes feel a little rushed and primal, but that worked pretty well for me too because the loving feeling between Xana and Dax can be pretty primal as well. They look to be in love, and love isn’t always smooth.

The thing that really made the editing for me, though, was the interview portion of the movie. It’s absolutely beautiful. I love how it gives quick glimpses of the sex as Xana and Dax talk about their relationship, and I think it’s a big part of what made the chemistry build so strongly with the movie. I also love how it captured Xana and Dax as real people, rather than some fairy tale character that’s just meant to get you in the mood. Yes, Xana and Dax should get you in the mood as well, but they feel like real people having real sex, and that makes a world of difference.

Xana and Dax: When Opposites Attract is another fantastic release from Tony Comstock. The sex has the great feeling of chemistry that makes so many amateur movies so enjoyable, but Tony takes things one step further by making sure you know the people before they ever have sex. He also helps things out by capturing it with an artistic eye and editing it together extremely well. Xana and Dax’s sex comes across as a thing of beauty and love, and is captured so well that I almost felt like a voyeur watching them. With Xana and Dax: When Opposites Attract Tony Comstock has put out a second movie that’s worth buying even if you have to live on Raimen noodles and Kool-Aid for a week.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, Comstock Films’ DVDs can be found for around $25 (unless of course you pre-order them at roughly half price). Buy this movie. Yes it’s shorter than most everything else out there, but it also has more care and feeling put into it than most everything else out there. The technical aspects are nicely done and there’s some okay effort put into the extras. Tony Comstock has put out another fantastic movie.

Note to Comstock Films: Part of me misses the multiple angles from Marie & Jack: A Hardcore Love Story, but it’s great to see you keeping the quality of your movies up. I can’t wait for the next release!
