Production Date: 9 / 2003 Director: John Graham and Pablo Gonzalez Trejos Cast: Debi Lee, Jammin' Jennie, Kellieanne, Paige Pin-Up, Samantha, and some uncredited guys The Short Story Initial Expectations: Big girl videos are fairly hit or miss for me, but can often be a lot of fun. I think this might be my first Score title, so I'm going in with a little hope. Initial Reaction: The girls are pretty good, but the technical aspects really hold this one back. Who Should Watch It : Fans of big women Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting well done camera work The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are all over the place. In most of the movie the audio is nicely done with a good balance and few background noises. There's also one scene that's horribly distorted for the audio. The video is presented in the full frame ratio, and nicely lit. It's also free of grain, but the camera work lacks by often getting in too close.

Initial Reaction: It's pretty hot, and has a nice style that's artistic but doesn't completely take over the movie. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a fun medical vignette with a bit of sexual variety. Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the overly soft and straightforward adult film many associate with Adam & Eve The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty well done, but a touch artistic. Unlike some of Orleans' work, there is audio from the performers, but the music is still very heavy on the audio. The video is presented in the full frame format, and nicely lit.

Initial Reaction: Disappointment. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting very fresh older faces Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who doesn't like camera motion or hearing the people behind the camera The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects show a bit of potential. The video is clear and nicely lit, and the audio is pretty well balanced. Sadly, that's where the good stuff ends. There's plenty of technical potential here, but the guys behind the camera just don't seem to know what they're doing as there's a lot of camera motion and shake. You also get to hear them fairly regularly throughout the movie.

Im rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also arent normally the glamour stars one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as its often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesnt have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what theyre doing to have fun and because they enjoy it.

The interviews are handled nicely, with audio and video that are both nicely clear. The clips of Debbie Does Dallas, as one would expect, are blurry and dated with weak audio. Music: The music lies nicely in the background and gives a good mainstream feel to the feature. Menus: The menus are extremely basic.

The Short Story Initial Expectations: The little I've seen from Acid Rain hasn't been too bad, and Brooke Haven, Missy Monroe, and Claire Robbins always seem to be worth watching. I'm looking forward to this one. Initial Reaction: It's pretty average, and would have been a lot better with a couple different guys in the cast. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting more intense anal action Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting lots of chemistry and the girls really looking like they're enjoying themselves The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced and I don't think I noticed a single background noise. The video is much the same. It's clear and well lit with just a touch of grain.

Review brief: NOTE: This review is based on an advanced screener copy. Although I don't expect any differences between this copy and the actual discs coming out in a couple weeks, I can't be positive they will be due to the screener copy coming on DVD+R's without any boxcover. For this reason I can't say if the boxcover claims are accurate or not, however I can say that Digital Playground has been extremely reliable in this area. The Little Details Running Time: 198 min. It's nicely lit and without a hint of grain or any odd camera motion to distract from the action. Music: There's a bit of porno music at the start of each scene.
