Initial Expectations: Big girl videos are fairly hit or miss for me, but can often be a lot of fun. I think this might be my first Score title, so I'm going in with a little hope.

Initial Reaction: The girls are pretty good, but the technical aspects really hold this one back.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are all over the place. In most of the movie the audio is nicely done with a good balance and few background noises. There's also one scene that's horribly distorted for the audio. The video is presented in the full frame ratio, and nicely lit. It's also free of grain, but the camera work lacks by often getting in too close. There's also a fair amount of slow motion action.

Music: Most of the scenes are music-free, but there is a little music in the background of one scene.

Menus: The main menu is okay, and blends a clip of the action with a little clip from the movie. The chapter menu also gives a few shots of the movie, and then lets you choose a scene based only on a list of the names of the girls.

The Feature

XL Xtra keeps things pretty simple. Each scene revolves around a big beautiful women. Sometimes there's a little cheesy opener and sometimes things go right to the action.

Scene 1 – Samantha and a white guy

Samantha, a bit bodied blonde with great eyes, starts things out on her knees working on a cock. She lets him help her out of her black shirt and bra, and Samantha nicely sees how much of his cock she can fit down her throat. He oils up her tits to fuck them, and although he seems to think it's time to move on after a bit Samantha insists that he play with them a little more. She bends over so he can play with her pussy briefly before fucking it from behind, and also takes it missionary and cowgirl style. This is an okay scene. Samantha is pretty hot and looked to put in some decent energy, by her vocals rarely seemed completely authentic to me. The scene was also held back by choppy editing, camera work that seemed to never know how to zoom out, and a bit of slow motion action that only interfered with the action. Her cum dodging reaction when some went past her tit and nailed her on the face also held the scene back a bit. Samantha is s hot BBW, but this scene couldn't quite make it past the average mark for reasons that were as much about her as the guys behind the cameras.

Scene 2 – Debi Lee and a black guy

Debbie, a very heavy blonde, starts her scene out wearing a black collar, panties, and stockings, and letting a black guy fuck her face. She gives him a bit of stroking and lies back for him to fuck her face before letting him fuck her pussy missionary style. This scene just didn't do it for me for many reasons. First, although I can really like some big women, Debi doesn't do it for my and looks like a good portion of her body's made up of cottage cheese. She gets into the sex good, but once again there's the camera and editing problems. There's also some bad audio problems here where it sounds like they're fucking in an echo chamber. The final thing that stuck out to me was the location. It looks like they're fucking on a frilly little girl's bed, which put the final cheesy nail in the coffin here. I think this scene is about half as long as the first scene, and I was very thankful that was all the longer it was. This is without a doubt the worst scene in the movie.

Scene 3 – Jammin Jennie and a white guy

Jennie, a large brunette, starts things out with plenty of extra cheese as the pizza guy arrives in the bedroom. Of course she doesn't have any money so she makes other arrangements as they set the pizza to the side. She goes right to sucking his cock, and lays back on the bed for him to fuck her tits before getting on all fours for a little doggie fucking. Jennie also takes it missionary style before getting up to ride him in both cowgirls. This is an okay scene. Yes, the cheesy start did start this scene out a notch down for me, but I will say that Jennie and the guy didn't hurt it any more by trying to play it too straight. They look like they're really enjoying themselves throughout the scene, but sadly the camera work and editing hold this one back again. There seems to be a heck of a lot more slow motion action in this scene, and I actually broke out the remote a couple times so I could feel like the scene was going somewhere. This wasn't too bad of a scene, but once again it would have been much better with a different style of camera work and editing.

Scene 4 – Paige Pin-Up and a white guy

Paige, a raven tressed big babe with a few tattoos, starts the penultimate scene sucking cock wearing only a little black dress. She plays to the camera with plenty of comments as she sucks it, which seems to really work for the guy as he pops not even a minute into the scene. Paige directs it towards her tits and rubs it in, and then has him play with her tits as she sits back on the bed. He breaks out a paddle to work on her tits with lightly as Paige mouths off unconvincingly for the camera, and follows it up with a flogger, a little oil, and a couple dildos. They also try some vacuum cylinders on her tits before the guy fucks her doggie and missionary style. Finally, Paige sucks and titty fucks her partner to another pop on her tits.

This is another hit or miss scene. Paige isn't bad looking for a big girl, and she has some nice enthusiasm. I really like how they mix things up with the titty play here, with the paddling and nipple vacuum clamps being a very nice touch. At the same time, Paige held things back by completely overdoing her reactions to the point that I couldn't help but laugh out load a few times through her scene. Paige has some nice potential, but she really needs a director who can reign her in a bit.

Scene 5 – Kellieanne and a white guy

Not surprisingly, Kellieanne starts the final scene out sucking cock. She has a nice silvery bra on as well as a few tattoos, and doesn't hesitate to put her tits to work on the cock as well as her mouth. She encourages her partner to play with her tits and lets him lotion them up before he works a dildo around them. Kellieanne lies back for the guy to fuck her before getting up for a reverse cowgirl ride and letting him fuck her doggie style. Finally the guy fucks Kellieanne's tits until he can cum on them and her face.

This is a very nice scene. Kellieanne and the guy have great chemistry, and she shows off some very nice smiles throughout the scene. There doesn't seem to be as much slow motion action here, but the camera work was still way on the tight side. This was a great scene to finish the movie with.

XL Xtra is a decent start to a big beautiful women series. Although the girls didn't all work for me, I like how there was a nice mix of looks for the girls. The action is a bit redundant, but the girls do look like they're having fun. That said, there's a fair amount of work here to take this from an okay BBW series to a really good one. The first thing is the camera work, which is way too limited and didn't seem to know whether it wanted to shoot a POV scene or a standard scene. In every scene, however, it gave me the feeling like it was deliberately trying to avoid the guys. The sex here takes two, and it never helps out a scene when it feels like one of those two people is trying to be avoided. The editing was another problem, and was way too choppy. The slow motion segments also didn't help anything, and only made me reach for the remote. The other thing is to get the girls used to being on camera. There are several of the girls who really played to the camera, and they rarely let me feel like they were really into the sex. Yes, they looked like they were having fun, but the fun for them seemed to be more that somebody was watching them with a camera than the action they were getting. All that isn't to say that there isn't hope for this series, as there's always hope when somebody knows to hire people for in front of the camera who enjoy it. I just wish that XL Xtra would have that same enjoyment behind the camera. As is, XL Xtra starts out this series a little in the hole.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers appear to be included for several other Score movies, but then they each look to turn into phone sex ads or commercials. I don't know what it is, but it was horrible! The photo gallery contains about two dozen full screen photos or pairs of snapshots, all of which look quite nice. There's also website information and a multi-angle version of the opening scene. Much of the action appears to be two true angles, but there are some problems with the audio and video synching.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Score's DVDs can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with quite a few stores offering them for under $20. Aim low or rent this one first. It has some decent big beautiful women, but everything behind the camera held this one back a bit. There's a little effort towards extras, but not much.

Note to Score: The multi-angle aspect is nice, but in the future please work it into the movie rather than just repeating a scene with the multi-angle option. If you want it to feel special, then use it as the last scene and give it a little opener to let the viewer know. Also, please find a new way to do your trailers. There are a lot of viewers who hate phone sex commercials, so making your trailers look like them isn't going to help you much.
