NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

Initial Expectations: I haven't seen much from Karen Kay, so I'm going into this one with an open mind.

Initial Reaction: Chrissy has some very nice potential, but this release needed to be edited down in the worst way.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting long amateur interracial and tease scenes

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting porn that doesn't seem like it's going to last until the end of time.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with amateur porn, the technical aspects leave a bit to be desired. The audio is pretty well balanced, but it is a little on the low side. For an amateur release, this one's pretty average audio-wise. The video is a little weaker. It appears to be all shot from a tripod, which can be a very good thing with amateur porn, and there's a little effort put into lighting (which is a little much for Chrissy, as she jokingly asks for her sunglasses out of the car early on). There's also the messages from the video camera which pop up and quite a few black flecks that appear throughout the movie.

Music: There's a little Jeff Healy Band and other good music in the background that appears to be there from the radio in the room, but no actual music mixed in with the audio.

Menus: The main menu lets you start the movie by going to a screen with a still of the movie and a generic date just like my DVD recorder does. It isn't the best of first impressions.

The Feature

Chrissy is a brunette who looks like she might be in her later thirties. She has the white lady afro, decently augmented tits with some noticeable scars, and starts things out in a brown plaid shirt and white heels.

Scene 1 – Chrissy and a black guy

Chrissy starts out in a brown plaid skirt letting a good looking black guy wrap his arms around her from behind and strip off her shirt to show some sexy white lingerie that she playfully poses in for a few snapshots. She chats a bit as she poses for the photos before the black guy happily comes back in so she can help him remove his pants. He leaves his shirt on and strips off his pants and socks before looking like they're going to pose for a few photos together. The scene cuts off, however, and returns with Chrissy posing in some blue lingerie followed by some white lingerie. She finally lies back and starts to gently rub her pussy, but soon after goes back to the posing. The black guy returns so she can finish stripping him down and so they can pose together.

This scene didn't do a lot for me. Chrissy is a good looking older gal, and she looks to have a fantastic personality. Unfortunately, it takes nearly a half hour until her hand finds its way to her pussy, and sadly that didn't last long either. This scene gives a good look at Chrissy's personality, but would have been much more effective if it were a fraction of its length.

Scene 2 – Chrissy and a black guy

After posing a little, Chrissy finally takes the black guy's cock in her mouth. She sucks it, kisses her way up and down it, and even gives his balls a bit of attention. She also works on him a little with her tits before they take to their knees to play with each other while holding each other close. They take their time sixty-nining as well, starting on the floor and moving to the bed after a bit. They slide a hairpin looking thingie onto Chrissy's big pussy lips for a bit before taking it off so the guy can fuck her missionary style. After a long fucking, Chrissy gets on top for a cowgirl ride and rides the guy until he unloads in her pussy. Finally, she lies back on the bed and gently plays with her pussy before the tape runs out.

This is an okay scene. There's very nice chemistry between Chrissy and the black guy, but once again the scene seems to take forever. I don't have anything against scenes that run over a half hour, but here it's about forty five minutes and there's only two positions with out any back and forth action for more oral or anything. This might have been a pretty good scene if it was only half as long.

Chrissy #6 is a great example of all the potential and dangers that lie in an amateur movie. For potential, it's all chemistry. Chrissy and her partner look like they're having a lot of fun the entire time, and there's plenty of chances for her bubbly personality to come across. Then there's the drawbacks. The camera work is weak, which is to be expected, but not horribly weak thanks to their knowing what a tripod is for. The bigger problem was that there wasn't really any editing. You could see that there was a cut here and a cut there, but I started to wonder if I was going to see the Democratic party support an across the boards tax cut along with a cutback in governmental spending before the action started. Chrissy #6 has potential, but the scenes went on so long as to almost kill the movie for me.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Karen Kay's DVDs can be found online at her website for about $20. I'd skip this one unless you're really into amateur interracial action. There's nice chemistry, but for an hour and a quarter release there just wasn't enough action here to hold my attention. The technical aspects are pretty average for an amateur release, but there's absolutely no effort put into the extras. This is a slightly below average amateur release.

Note to Karen Kay: Polishing up a few of your details would really help you out. To start with, try to do a real main menu. Yes, there may only be one choice, but it's going to give a heck of a lot better first impression than this did. Also, try for an extra or two. You could have really strengthened the movie by cutting out at least half of Chrissy's photo shoot, and then included it as an extra to help out the overall DVD.
