NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay for an amateur movie. The audio is clear, but the balance leaves plenty to be desired as some of the people around the action come across as loud as Chrissy and her partners. The video is presented in the full frame ratio, and is a touch weak. The lighting is pretty good through most of the movie, but there's almost always a little grain. There's also a fair amount of camera motion and quite a few soft focus blurs.

Menus: The main menu lets you start the movie by going to a screen with a still of the movie and a generic date just like my DVD recorder does. It isn't the best of first impressions.

The Feature

This installment starts things out with a party in the hotel room, and it's quickly obvious that Chrissy's going to be the party favor. It doesn't take long, and she finds her way to the bedroom for the real action to begin.

Scene 1 – Chrissy, a couple black guys, and an Arabic looking guy

Scene 2 – Chrissy and a black guy

Scene 3 – Chrissy and a couple black guys

Chrissy goes back to work on one of the black guys, obviously trying to get him hard enough to fuck her. After a bit Chrissy lies back to let the first guy fuck her missionary style, and although he never seemed to get decent wood I guess he was still able to pop in her pussy. This scene is pretty much a dud. The second guy is able to do something, but the first guy looked like he couldn't get wood no matter how hard he tried. I really don't know if he popped in Chrissy's pussy or not, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here. The camera work also held this scene back horribly by going with gyno-cam action the entire time. This scene did virtually nothing for me.

Chrissy 30 is a pretty average amateur release. It has a fair amount of the chemistry one hopes for with an amateur release, and also has the downside of some pretty poor technical aspects. I can often get past the technical aspects in amateur releases due to the great chemistry, but here the chemistry was fairly hit or miss. This isn't uncommon among amateur swinger releases like this, but it does make for a movie that's pretty hit or miss. Here there were both hits or misses, and although Chrissy showed some great potential and got into some of the action very well, she did have a couple duds for partners. In the end, Chrissy 30 is a bit of a roller coaster ride, and it ends up coming off as a pretty average amateur porno.

Currently, many of Karen Kay's DVDs can be found online at her website for about $20. If you're going to buy a Karen Kay DVD, this one's the best I've seen. I can't say that I think it's worth $20, but since that's a pretty average amateur porn price I doubt you'll do much better. The technical aspects are a bit weak, but pretty average for amateur porn, and there's nothing here for extras. This is a pretty average amateur porn DVD all around.

Note to Karen Kay Online: I know amateur DVDs are supposed to look cheap, but putting a little effort in to have a real main menu and a chapter menu sure would help you make a better first impression.
