Initial Expectations: I know nothing about Ionie Luv Coxxx, but her movies sound kinda fun. I’m not quite sure what to expect here, but I have a hint of expectations.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. That's really saying something for the reality style of the movie. The video is also nicely done, starting with an anamorphic widescreen presentation. It's nicely lit with only a few fairly minor lighting imbalances, barely a spot of grain, and very little camera motion.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu is very basic, and just gives a still and a few basic choices. The chapter menu is just as basic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature

It's another day in sunny London, or at least London, and hot raven tressed Ionie's out with her camera. She's looking for guys who are willing to come back with her and help her film her new naughty film that's all about girls who love spunk.

Scene 1 - Jessica Love, Nancy, Anthony, David, Mark, and another couple guys

Back at the flat, Ionie has Jessica, a dirty blonde with a bit of curly to her hair in a a little black lingerie, and Nancy, a straight haired bottle blonde in some sexy white lingerie, show off a bit for her. This is an okay scene. The girls are both quite hot, and show some great potential. The problem here is that most everything else about the scene holds it back. The camera work isn't bad, but isn't anything too good either. The bigger problem is the guys. To say that this is a very average group of cocksmen would be one heck of a compliment, and I think somebody like Erik Everhard alone could put out more spunk in one pop than this entire group did together. Hell, I'm not sure the one guy could even manage three drops! For a scene that's to be all about spunk, the only spunk this scene really had was from the personality of the girls.

Scene 2 - Lorna Lace and two guys

Short haired blonde Lorna starts her scene out in a little baby blue lingerie chatting with Ionie before showing off a bit of her oral skills on her black strap-on and a dildo. It gets better as the scene goes on and does show a little gape, but the camera work almost always feels either a little held back or like it's just a little off. Lorna does do a nice job, but this scene doesn't quite make it past the average level.

Scene 3 - Isabel Ice and a couple guys

Once again the editing was a bit rough, but it's fairly tolerable here. This scene manages to make it past the average mark.

Scene 4 - Chantelle Steves, Starr, Stefan Hard, and four other guys

Chantelle, a curly haired older looking bottle blonde in a little black lingerie, and Starr, a straight haired older looking dirty blonde with a few tattoos in some black and turquoise lingerie, show off a bit for Ionie and get it on with each other briefly before attacking Ionie's strap-on. The same can be said about the guys, and the scene comes off as an overly long oral scene with a couple quick fucks a the end so it isn't called an oral scene. This scene just didn't do much for me.

I lonely Love... Spunk, Ionie Luvcoxx's first outing behind the camera, has a charm that might gain a few fans but will probably leave many feeling apathetic. She has a very fun idea for her series, and I like how she decides to focus on one thing at a time. Her “girl on the street” segments are fun and work nicely to bring in some new male talent. Even the slightly amateurish feel can work to her advantage due to her reality porn feel. All that said, I just can't get too wild about it yet. It does have an amateurish feel, but it's the “I'm professional and don't quite know enough or care enough about what I'm doing” type of amateurish rather than the high chemistry “we're more concerned about the sex and don't have the money or knowledge to do things professionally” type of amateurish feel. The editing is rough, while the camera work feels like it's missing great shots, knows it, and just doesn't care. I Only Love Spunk lets Ionie Luvcoxxx show that she has a nice idea, and also shows that she has plenty of room to improve. I hope she can over future installments of her series, as there's something about her that makes me want to see more of her.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Private's DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $32 with a few stores offering them for under $20. Rent this one or aim low for this one. It has a nice idea, but it's style seems like it's going to be very hit or miss for people. The technical aspects are pretty good, but there's no real effort put into the extras. This is an okay movie as well as an okay DVD.

Note to Private: A little effort towards the extras would be a very nice thing. At the very least, some deleted footage seems like it should be very easy to come by.
