I was lucky enough to interview Katrina a few years ago at AVN, and though it seemed like she was shy and nervous at times, I am glad to see that since then, she has grown as a performer. I can only hope that they put out more of this kind of showcase, as when you have one director, the style is pretty much the same throughout the movie. Not the case here, as not only do we get some different visual styles, there is also some difference in themes and focus. And with the BTS footage/documentary style included in the movie, we also get a nice look on how the magic was made, and get to know a little more about Katrina and her life and thoughts, which she's not afraid to speak her mind. Buttman is down on his luck, dumpster diving for snacks after being evicted from his plywood shack. Production Date: 1991 Director: John Stagliano Cast: Zara Whites, Sunny McKay, Veronica Doll, Noelle Budvar, Joy Karins, Natalie Streb, Rocco Siffredi, Christophe Clark, John Stagliano, and Philippe Soine Initial Expectations: The only John Stagliano DVD Ive seen before is Face Dance Part 1 . Its one of my favorites and I hope that this one is just as good. At the very least, I have a lot of confidence in Evil Angel putting together a very well made DVD with a great transfer and plenty of well done extras. Initial Reaction: It isnt Face Dance Part 1, but it doesnt try to be either. For a gonzo movie, its going to be hard to beat. Audio /Video Quality: The transfer appears to be very good. Theres some focus issues, but nothing worse than any other gonzo movie. The audio synchs great and is very clear in all but a couple outdoor situations. Music: The music feels out of place.
