Synopsis:

Audio/Video:
Dance Fire is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo audio track which sounds nice considering the age of the film and limitations of the equipment it was made on. The audio is clear and well balanced throughout. There aren't any foreign language tracks nor subtitle options available for the feature film.

Dance Fire is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1 and the print used is showing its age. The colors are well balanced but there are video glitches that show up sporadically throughout the film. Since this release is from Evil Angel I expect that this is the best video master available as I have never known them to skimp on their releases. The glitches don't ruin the movie in any way.

Special Features:
There are a few extras on the disc, not as much as Evil Angel is normally known for, but this is also their oldest title, so I suspect there just isn't much available that relates to the title. There is a cast list, which includes non-sex players in each section of the film. There is a cum shot recap, which shows three of the cum shots in the film. There is an extensive text biography of John Stagliano and there is a photo gallery with 28 stills that you flip through.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with beautiful animated menus that are easy to navigate. There are 15 chapters available on the chapter menu. Each one is identified by a video clip and a scene name. There are 54 chapters available within the feature film itself. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
Dance Fire is an adult movie that could have only been born out of the 80s. Dirty Dancing was all the rage and big hair and spandex was everywhere. Dance Fire captures that fun spirit and makes for an enjoyable adult romp, then again did anyone really expect that you could go wrong with John Stagliano and the late Jack Baker? The movie is a great collaboration of a fluffy story, fun sex scenes, dancing, singing and a dream sequence that would make Gregory Dark proud.

The movie features great sets and locations that capture the mood and scenes in the film and enhance the quality of the overall production. The movie is beautifully shot and John shows his love for the female ass with some beautiful shots of asses encased by spandex. For the breast lovers out there, John doesn't skimp on showing off the great breasts of the actresses involved either.

I love the way that the sex scenes are designed in the film. Unlike the films of today where every scene has to be a 20 minute adventure, the film starts out with a tease scene, which gets you into the mood and then throws you back into the plot. The scenes also fit in with the film and nothing in them seems put there just because, instead it all fits where the plot is taking the film. The scenes are far shorter than what you would expect from current movies by John Stagliano, but that doesn't mean that they lack heat.
