What's It About?: In this weight-obsessed society in general and the porn industry in particular, it's nice to see unabashed appreciation of big asses. I'd rather see a big butt than another anorexic starlet any day of the week. We know that John Stagliano is a connoisseur of the large, rounded rear, so it should come as no surprise that BBBBB3 not only features big butts but celebrates them. First up is German Katja Kassin, who sports a nicely rounded tush and lovely natural breasts to go with her bubbly, giggling personality. The scene is enjoyable not only because of the extended foreplay and teasing, but also Katja's excellent English, which allows her to interact with John and Manuel much better than most Eurobabes. She even talks about how German photographers think that she's too fat, though I don't think she's fat by any stretch of the imagination--zero cellulite and no extra folds anywhere! The video finishes up with the return to Katja, who's not creatively tied around her body with plastic straps. While John is a bit over the top in his butt worship, in all, you can say that he just really likes his job. Art of the Tease: Thankfully, the whole notion of tease in porn hasn't completely died. One of the things I've always liked about Buttman's videos is that he always took the time to build up some anticipation. Instead of just introducing or interviewing a pretty girl and then immediately throwing her in the action, Stagliano worships her body and takes the viewer on a tour. By the time the sex actually begins, the anticipation enhances the whole experience--that is what porn should be about. What I didn't like: Emilia/Zenza scene: While I like the spontaneity and relaxed feel of the long third scene with big-titted, big-assed Emilia, I can't say that I care for either her body type or Zenza's skinny frame. To each his own, but I don't really want to see cellulite and flabby tummies in my fantasies. Since this scene makes up a big chunk of the video, it brings down my overall rating of BBBBB3--just my preference; I'm sure if you've got a fetish for big women, you'll enjoy that scene more than I do. DVD Extras: In addition to the standard Evil Angel extras (fetish menu, photo galleries, cast lists, director bio, and filmographies), this is a special edition, including not only the director's cut of 150 minutes but also two major extras. The first is a 33-minute bonus scene shot in Brazil. As the title card mentions, the video master was damaged in the Brazilian heat, and the result is some occasional video defects in the picture (for those who have digital cable or satellite, you'll recognize the blocky picture dropouts. It's not that bad, but clearly it would never have been used as part of one of Buttman's videos except as an extra. The scene itself is with Gabriella Muniz, a tanned, dark-skinned Brazilian girl with nice, natural tits and very distinctive eyes. She arrives at Buttman's hotel room sporting some colorful spandex tights, which shows off her smooth, big ass well. She's got a bit of a tummy fat, but it's not excessive--certainly I see a lot worse at the local mall. The camerawork is pure Buttman: zooms and follow angles on her ass as she walks around the room. Gabriella is matched with Giovani, who she smothers with her crotch and ass. There's quite a bit of anal toy play, using three different novelties. Indeed, it's about 22 minutes into the scene before the cock sucking starts. Although the sex lacks heat for most of the scene, there are two highlights. It's a nice addition to the disc, especially since not very many Evil Angel DVDs have such behind-the-scenes material. A/V Quality: Aside from a few, occasional video glitches, I had no problem with any of the technical aspects of BBBB3, including lighting and sound. Unlike the equipment that others use, Buttman's camera manages to capture the action against the bright windows of a hotel room without harsh shadows and constantly adjusting exposure. The audio is clear and it's easy to hear what John is saying, as well as hearing the sounds of sex during the scene. The Last Word: Buttman's Big Butt Backdoor Babes 3 is a solid specialty title from Buttman, delivering exactly what the title indicates. While I prefer Jules Jordan's vision of ass worship, this is a very good title if you like your booty on the bigger side of large. It's tastefully done and manages to pack in a lot of sex and a lot of ass-centric tease. Recommended if you are a lowercase-b buttman or buttwoman.
