Rosco Fuji's
review from 5/27/2009:
Overall scenario: Plot driven story from the mid 80s that revolves around a Red Dress with magical powers. You know the story. Various people come in contact with the item and it turns them into wanton sexual deviants. This is a trip down memory lane as it stars some of the big names of that era. Stars in their own rights back then, but most probably wouldn't make it today as they are women and not girls. The problem is and its a consistent problem with most releases back then when compared to things now is that all are standard girl guy scenes, save for two and all are really tame. Overall disc has 7 scenes. I tried to keep my review limited to the era and not compared to today's porn. [read the full review]

When his simple best friend, Richard Pacheco, finds love in the arms of a young woman and begins to drift away, a rough-around-the-edges, smooth-talking, hard-fucking womanizer, John Leslie, is left to deal with feelings of emptiness quite unfamiliar to him. Proving that you sometimes have to give some head to get ahead, Shanna McCullough uses her beauty and sexual prowess to make her way in the cut-throat, corporate world. Unfortunately for her, this includes mixing herself up in a high-end, pay-for-sex ring run after-hours out of her office that quickly jeopardizes her legit career. Such is the case in "Barbara Dare's Affairs" (a.k.a. "Corporate Affairs"), a very good, 1986 release from Gourmet Video and director Carlos DeSantos. [read the full review]

A frustrated, young housewife, the lovely Jesie St. James, finds her inhibitions quickly eroding away when she befriends the neighbor's daughter, Laurie Smith, who also works as a dancer and a prostitute at a local sex club. Of course, it doesn't help matters that Jesie's philandering hubby, Jon Martin, treats her like shit, ignores her sexually, and goes away on "business" far too frequently. So, when she encounters the club and all of its various trappings, a sexual powder keg is set to blow...and that's exactly what it does. Such is the case in "Indecent Pleasures", an overall-good, 1984 release from Caballero and director Phillip Gem. [read the full review]

review from 8/19/2017:
Judging a porn film by its box cover or its title is rarely a good idea, but we all do it, of course. So...when I saw Michael Cates' "The Modeling Studio" from Collector's Video (1984) as a choice on AdultEmpire.com's Unlimited service, I was initially less than enthused about it. Indeed, its box cover is subpar and unexciting, and its title is as banal as banal can be. That, however, is pretty much where any of the complaints stop. To be sure, this film's cast, which relies heavily upon the erotic talents of a young Ginger Lynn (Oh my!) and the uber-sexual Erica Boyer (RIP)--with assists from the likes of Heather Wayne and Roxanne Rollan along the way--is impeccable, as is its heat...which builds from the beginning and never looks back. The Little Details Running Time: 59 min. Production Date: 11 / 20 / 1995 Director: Scott Taylor and John Stagliano Cast: Scott Taylor, Erica Boyer, and Mark Dick O Death Wallice The Short Story Initial Expectations: Im not sure why, but Im not expecting much here... Initial Reaction: I wasnt sure whether to laugh or cry. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who thinks that John Stagliano started at the top or who wants a good laugh Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a good instructional release The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects definitely show the age of the movie. The audio has a loud hiss in the background as well as a few background noises. The video is also slightly blurry, grainy, and has an offcolor bar along all four edges. This is not an impressive looking or sounding release. Music: None for How to Enlarge Your Penis. Loud and cheesy music for The Fine Art of Anal Intercourse. Disc Complaints: The authoring is pretty bad here. [read the full review]

review from 3/24/2002:
This Cal-Vista shot-on-film feature from around 1984 has very little to recommend it. The sex is routine. Even the delightful Janey Robbins, one of the unsung heroines of early porn, is largely wasted. The plot has stewardess Juliet Anderson wanting to be the first female pilot on her airline, with sister Tara Aire trying to help her along. There are alot of shots inside airliner shells, and outside of windows during flights, and pirate shots at airports, but we've seen it all before in better films from that era. This film features an extended mud wrestling scene, so if you can remember the mud wrestling fad of the 1980s, you can date this film. On the bright side, the film quality is excellent, and the transfer to DVD is very good as well. Technically the disc is very good. [read the full review]

Initial Expectations: Andrew Blake has great artistic vision, so I expect the movie to be excellent. Unfortunately, Im not expecting Caballero to give it the treatment it deserves. Initial Reaction: As a compilation DVD, the feature itself is pretty good. Unfortunately, Caballero has given this DVD one of the worst treatments Ive ever seen. The road to Hell may be paved with good intentions, but it's an all-out, freak-filled fuck-fest once you get there, at least that's if the diabolical director of the dirty, Greg Dark, is to be believed. Such is the case in his two-part classic series from 1986 and VCA, "The Devil in Miss Jones 3 and 4", that finds the gorgeous, blonde punk porner and AVN Hall-of-Famer, Lois Ayres (as the seemingly timid and troubled "Justine Jones"), slamming her head into the wall whilst out revenge-fucking and then ending up in the perverted pits of Hell. review from 1/2/2008:
To my surprise and delight, DMJ 3 and DMJ 4 are in fact one film. While titled as sequels to Damiano's 1973 masterpiece, DMJ 3 /4 is closer to a remake, or even more appropriately, a re-telling of Damiano's tale. In fact, besides the name of the heroine and the film itself, as well as the basic premise of a woman dying and ending up in Hell, this film has no similarities to either of the earlier two entries in the series. review from 8/2/2003:
VCA has collected Devil in Miss Jones 3: A New Beginning and Devil in Miss Jones 4: The Final Outrage together for this set which makes sense since the two films are actually one film split in half. Gregory Dark's set of two films is very different than Gerard Damiano's original film and are very much a product of the 80s in their visual stylings. The two films are well done and definately worth seeing. VCA has done a good job with their release of the two films on this set with good video despite lacking extras. [read the full review]

A beautiful, young woman born into money, Ginger Lynn, can have any man (...and anything...) that she wants, yet what she really wants and needs is true love. Night Trips 2 is an excellent film for viewers that like arty and tame sex. Although there is a minute plot, the imagery is the reason to watch this film. Writer/Director: Andrew Blake Videographer: Andrew Blake Running length: 75 min. D.O.P. 1990 Female cast: Paula Price, Brianna, Erica Boyer, Bridgette Monroe, Tami Monroe, Racquel Darrian, Cameo, Cheri Taylor, Lauren Hall, Nina Alexander Male cast: Randy Spears, Jon Dough, Randy West, Eric Price, Derrick Lane Audio/Video: Parts of it were real grainy, mainly the dream sequences, but I expected that. The audio was fine. Extras: Um.. The Movie: Paula Price thinks she has a problem just because she can't stop thinking about sex and masturbates constantly.. Welcome to the club Paula, but right away I can see what the problem is. This woman needs to get off! And the way she half-heartedly walks around touching herself and rubbing up against doorknobs isn't the way to do it. But it looks artistic and sexy. That's what Andrew Blake is all about, and no one does better. How nice it is not to have to fast forward through all the double and triple penetrations, or fight a wave of nausea as someone proudly displays an asshole resembling the Grand Canyon. Note: Since Principal Skinner has already given most of the details of the DVD, my review is not highly detailed. I am merely going to offer my basic perceptions.
