This is a very nice little character driven movie. The story is light, but works well due to how well the limited cast works with the story. The sex is fantastic and fits into the story well, and the technical aspects show some great care. There's also a nice bit of effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. The technical aspects show some very nice care, but sadly the DVD falls back a notch due to no care being put into the extras. The strength of this DVD is definitely the cast as James Avalon is forced to use another plot that revolves around a porn set similar to Bustful of Dollars. In maybe a satire/homage to the Giarusso brothers, Sunny Lane plays the innocent virgin police officer who has to go undercover and investigate Manuel Ferrara, who police suspect is helping launder money through his porn productions for his brother. Sometimes the plot moves the scenes along but in the end it leaves you unsatisfied as it leads to the inevitable conclusion that Sunny liked porn better than policework. There are some plot holes that are never addressed like what happens with her fiance? I still haven't seen Darkside, his first yet, but I suspect BiB to be his weakest feature. Let me tell you why. This movie is shot in HD and this is a problem when Veronica Stone is one of the leads in this movie. Veronica is a very cute girl with a great body that I love watching, but I certainly don't love watching her in HD. The HD reveals every flaw in her facial complexion or at least the vast amounts of makeup that tries to cover it. The storyline for those familiar with the hollywood movie is that aliens have infiltrated the earth conveniently in the form of male strippers and the Babes in Black are assigned to get rid of them. I really dug the credits for this and the whole Western vibe they went for to get the movie going went off really good. The lettering was spot on what you'd see in those old Westerns. There are only a few really tiny thumbnails of the action, but from them, we can see that this movies uses some very elaborate costumes. Just based on the cover, I'm expecting a lot out of this title. The Action: The movie opens with a couple sitting on a couch in a futuristic apartment. He is trying to convince her to put on a virtual reality (VR) headset so they can have some cyber sex. She hesitates saying even the though of sex can get them arrested. He persists, and soon they are cybersexing. The camera cuts back and forth from the cybersex action to reality. Taboo 2001 Sex Odyssey Studio: Metro Date of Production: 07-2000 Before Viewing Expectations: This is a two dvd set and the cover says it has over 5 hours of footage across both discs. It has also received 10 AVN nominations, so it should be a good movie. The list of extras seems quite impressive, and is said to include things like PC wallpaper and screensavers. There are only a few really tiny thumbnails of the action, but from them, we can see that this movies uses some very elaborate costumes. Just based on the cover, I'm expecting a lot out of this title. The Action: The movie opens with a couple sitting on a couch in a futuristic apartment. He is trying to convince her to put on a virtual reality (VR) headset so they can have some cyber sex. She hesitates saying even the though of sex can get them arrested. He persists, and soon they are cybersexing. The camera cuts back and forth from the cybersex action to reality. As they engage in some oral activities, the alarms at the Thought Policy headquarters goes off and the female cops spring into action. [read the full review]
