Cum on My Tattoo 4 review summaries:
loverboy's
For the porn fan who loves women in tats, this is the dvd. Some are tatted more than others, but the main goal of these women is to get cum on their new tats. The dvd was edited by James Deen who does a good job in front of the camera, but his edited presentation was a bit disorganized. The women are interviewed, but they are not coordinated with the fuck action so you see an interview for one chick followed by a sex scene featuring someone else. Some of the scenes had an intro listing the cast members, both male and female, others just had the action with no cast listing....This isn't all that important though as the skin is the most important thing...and tatted skin at that. Most of the scenes were shot in what looks like a warehouse studio with bare floors, wooden sets/flats in the background and junk on the floors. Not the most attractive of places, but this from a Brooklyn, NY porn company, so aesthetics might not be as important as in Chatsworth. [read the full review]

Hospital! is Benny Profane's Vivid.Alt debut. It's kinda weird, and that's to be expected, but he's put his new access to some help and at least some kind of budget to good use here. It's an entertaining video with a good sense of humor and some good sex. [read the full review]

"Extreme Metal and Hardcore Sex" is the way this is advertised. There are four fuck scenes, the rest are bizarre metal videos with scenes edited so quickly you apparently will either get a seizure watching them or need to go on drugs. I watched some of it in slo-mo just to see what it was, but it just too screwy for this dude. Some interviews with heavy metal artists and one "mystery guest" (whom I probably wouldn't know if he revealed himself anyway) are also included. Boring to me. The sex wasn't bad though. Bad Luck Betties, The review summaries:
Zorge's
Bad Luck Betties is a very entertaining film from Winkytiki, with a vibe that builds off of his earlier Rebelle Rousers (Kimberly Kane even makes a cameo here as her character from that movie.) The style has a very rockabilly, b-movie feel, with great effects meticulously pieced together by the director. The outfits and set-ups here work tremendously and make for a really fun vibe. On top of it, the original soundtrack perfectly fits the movie. There's just enough story to follow and keep things intriguing, but it never gets overburdened with details. [read the full review]

Debbie Loves Dallas review summaries:
Rick L. Blalock's
Debbie Loves Dallas does what other doesladen (yep, made-up word) Debbie remakes couldn't, or rather, wouldn't. Ok, so here, Debbie comes face to face with that Eon McKai character (2006 AVN award winner), no stranger to deconstructing adult film's most treasured franchises. Shot for cable television series Debbie Does Dallas Again, Eon fought to bring us the ultimate porno melting pot - an ensemble cast that's the who's who of porn's alt, proper and past, a completely fresh take on a classic adult film, and the cynical humor that we've come to expect from him. So, now Debbie's crushing on the synth-pop sensation Dallas, trying to hook up with the lead singer, and...confused? I bet...well, get used to it because this summer's hottest, feel-good, date movie is not being shown at the multiplex - you're looking at it! Oh, and we suggest screening it with mixed company. Tristram's
A remake of Debbie does Dallas that's really not a remake; instead of being about cheerleaders it's about groupies and instead of taking place in Dallas there's a band called Dallas. What this means is that in this movie the girls quite literally get to do Dallas. It features decent sex of the alt variety, and looks good in terms of style, but the story parts of it unfortunately suffer from misplaced attempts at irony and off-kilter dialogue that's supposed to be funny but really is just a pain to sit through. This is Alt Porn at some of it's finest. Guy Capo has assembled an awesome cast of extremely sexy emo and punk girls. Guy Capo has shot some great movies and he has done an excellent job here. There are a lot of quick shots and artsy editing, but it works very well for this film. The way that Guy Capo edited and shot this film, he reminds me a lot of the way Michael Ninn shoots his porn. All of the sets are nicely created and all of the girls are outfitted with some of the sexiest outfits I have seen. [read the full review]

Here we have an exceptional release from the fine folks over at Burning Angel. I for one, embrace the Alt Porn movement, and I enjoy seeing ladies that have different qualities than your normal porn star. I think that Tattoos and Piercings are a sexy complement to the female body. This release which is entitled "Cum On My Tattoo 2" includes the sexy ladies that have various tattoos and piercings, that have hot sex and receive a nice cumshot to one of their numerous tattoos. Also all of the girls in this film have a natural rack, which I find is starting to become a rarity upon todays female talent. [read the full review]

Cum On My Tattoo Burning Angel/Pulse Distribution D: Joanna Angel. Joanna Angel, Kylee Kross, Pinky Lee, Pixie Pearl. Tommy Pistol, Mr. Marcus, James Deen & Rob Rotten. 2 hours, 37 min. Extras: Behind the Scenes, Trailers, Tattoo Gallery, Cumshot Loop, Live Tattoo Footage. (Kylee gets a "Burning Angel" tat on her leg) I'm still not entirely sure what to make of the whole "alt" movement, a genre currently popularized by Neu Wave Hookers director Eon McKai and the director/performer of this flick, Joanna Angel, who litter their work with mostly pale and waifish tattood, pierced and dyed goth-types. In Joanna's work, the vast majority of these exclusive ladies are culled from her very own BurningAngel.com, a website that specializes in showcasing girls you're more likely to find in Hot Topic buying a new "Nightmare Before Christmas" binder than in today's more conventional gonzo product. It's an interesting and risky proposition, to give these girls who aren't what fans are used to seeing and giving them a chance. [read the full review]

Joanna's Angels 2: Alt Throttle review summaries:
morbidthoughts'
Well, we have another episode of Joanna's Angel. In the previous episode, brainwashed villain Tommy Pistol wreaked crazed havoc across New York. Apparently though, the Angels are desperate as he's their new recruit, still wreaking havoc with his general ineptitude. Meanwhile, the President's (Mr. Marcus) daughter (Dana DeArmond) has been kidnapped so the Angels are on the case. Joanna Angel (a, dp), James Deen, and Mr. Marcus Pixie Pearl & Tommy Pistol Pinky Lee (bj only) & Mr. Marcus Kylee Kross & Mr. Marcus Sabrina Sparx, Dana DeArmond (a), and Tommy Pistol Joanna Angel (a), Charlotte Stokely, and James Deen Well like the previous movie, we have a choppy plot where the transitions are confusing especially the payoff. Paying attention to the dialogue reveals its zaniness as the cast makes fun of the "alt" phenomenon so you know not to take any of this seriously. [read the full review]

Atomic Vixens review summaries:
Gunth's
Plot/Story: Atomic vixens is very well done Austin Powers knockoff. Instead of Dr. Evil, we have L.I.M.P., a diabolical organization who has taken over the United Nations nuclear base on the moon. They are holding the world hostage. Their demands are simple, the total enslavement of all the worlds women! In this time of crisis, the UN turns to the Atomic Vixens for salvation. With girls like Jade Minx, White Queen, Anita Goodbang, Roxy Brown, and the fembots SQ-24 and TS-64, the world should be in good hands. Scenes: Jade Starr and Mika Tan: we start out with a superb lesbian scene. This is the first I have seen of Jade Starr, but I would like to see more. While all the girls in the movie have the alternative thing going, she pulls it off the best: Pale skin, dark hair, small breasts, tattoos on each arm, dark eye shadow, and perfect body. These girls really know how to lick pussy, and the camera does a good job of picking up every little detail. Also some nice kissing. [read the full review]

Re-Penetrator review summaries:

I've been a fan of Joanna Angel and her website Burning Angel since awhile before the "alt.porn" craze got going. I live in Brooklyn, and sometimes go to her nabe, Williamsburg, to drink, and ran across a bartender who was talking about Joanna and the site. It turns out the bartender is actually ON the site, so i decided to investigate. I really enjoy the approach, almost in the old, "hey kids, let's put on a show," but with piercings, tattoos, and real cumshots. Since then, a lot has happened for Joanna, and while she seems to have triggered the strange affections of Luke Ford, as well as the requisite backlash, I think it's all pretty funny. People take this shit too seriously. All the footage on this DVD comes from the site. The "Re-Penetrator" clip is a featurette that spoofs the Stuart Gordon horror classic "Re-Animator," in broad, campy terms (and considering how campy the source was, it's pretty campy). To be honest, I don't find the scene interesting or sexy. [read the full review]

Well if you don't have a bloody she-hulk fantasy, this alt porn short is not for you. Re-Penetrator, a clever title and originally released as on the Burning Angel website, is a spoof of all the schlocky horror movies out there. Usually kids would have sex and then the bad guy would kill them. Except this time, Joanna Angel is a zombie reanimated by mad scientist Tommy Pistol and the first thing that comes out of her mouth (besides the fake blood) is "Balls" in a spoof off the zombie mantra, "Brains". I've reviewed zombie porn before in Dawn of the Head but this release takes it to another level. Where a zombie Gia Paloma in Dawn was ferally attractive, Joanna (who I think is very attractive behind the gunk) looks like a repulsive cartoon character. I made the mistake of watching the director's cut where there is fake blood everywhere. Joanna gurgles fake blood as she blows Tommy. Her pussy oozes fake blood when Tommy eats her. The sex was just standard if you can get past all the schlock. [read the full review]

Overview When I got this dvd a couple weeks back I was stoked ; I was a big fan of the original from back in the day, and being a fan of Sierra Sinn & Joanna Angel I expected one kick ass remake/update. Good stuff or bad bust ? Let's see. What I Liked Umm, well, I liked the Original version ( minus the Traci ' angel/devil ' scene of course) , that comes with this package. And, uh, the packaging was pretty cool. Yep that's about it. What I Disliked Ah where to start, where to start ? Now lemme just say, I got no beef with ' alt porn'. I liked ' Joanna's Angels', I liked ' Kill girl Kill 3'. But here ? Wow. Linear plot ? Not so much. Hot sex? Not so much. Great use of great cast ? Not so much. Seeing a trend here ? I'll explain further. Kurt Lockwood & Joanna Angel, easy on the eyes eh ? I think so, Mrs B thinks so. So what does Ion/Eon(?) do with them ? He shoots them in a way that makes it appear as though your are watching from underwater, or through mud. [read the full review]

Many Are Alt, But Few Are Chosen: Eon McKai's "Neu Wave Hookers" Back in 1985, the Dark Bros. New Wave Hookers was one of those inevitable porn jokes. It spoofed pop culture with its premise of two deadbeat pals (Jamie Gillis and Jack Baker) who get baked one night while watching a skinflick and imagine themselves as pimps running a stable of new wave hookers (so-called, because of Bakers genius discovery that otherwise innocent girls could be turned into raving sluts if they listen to too much new wave music on big clunky headphones. Hey, porn is all about fantasy!). With a soundtrack by the Plugz, a classic DP scene by 80s porn It Girl, Ginger Lynn, and the soon-to-be-controversial casting of secretly underage Traci Lords, New Wave Hookers put the Darks on the map, and created a porn-hipster cache that director Greg Dark would continue to work decades later as a producer of rock videos (ultimately signaling porn's definitive seepage into mainstream pop consciousness, and positing Britney Spears in schoolgirl drag as the true inheritor of Traci's jailbait divadom. This is my first review in quite some time and my first review of a movie this new. My tendencies in reviewing porn are usually classics and features, but I have lately been getting into the alt.porn phenomenon that seems to be dominating VCA currently. I saw Joanna Angels' "Joanna's Angels" and then I checked out this movie, also featuring Joanna, directed by L.A. art school graduate Eon McKai, who made his directorial debut last year with "Art School Sluts", which I have yet to see, but is supposedly very good. McKai's "Neu Wave Hookers" is set for release on January 17'th, so I thought I'd check this movie out first as a little preview into his work. What I found was very, very promising. VCA has made some great classic porn films (many of them, sadly, very butchered on DVD). But then in the mid 90's, Jim Holliday started directing for them, and the overall body of work from the company went into decline (maybe their all-condom policy helped). [read the full review]

FAST, CHEAP AND OUT OF CONTROL sinema reviews by skronker Wassup with this alt-porn business anyway? Over the past few months, there's been a growing buzz about the genre -- mostly generated by LA art-school grad Eon McKai, whose Kill Girl Kill series injects a dose of underground style into the ol' in-'n'-out. My enthusiasm for McKai has dampened a bit since he apparently got through college without learning how to spell, and gets more mileage from the excellent design folks he hires to work on his title sequences and DVD packaging than he does from actually being a great shooter, but I still think his movies offer something a little different. I was way more impressed with what his "protege," Joanna Angel, came up with for her VCA debut. With Joanna's Angels, New York-based scenemaker claims the form for her own. [read the full review]

For those who don't know who she is, Joanna Angel is known for burningangel.com which is popular indie porn site similar to suicidegirls.com. Of course, some people think of indie porn as girls with a bunch of tattoos which cover up the fact that they're really not that attractive even without the ink. Joanna is a stunning girl though and one that I look forward to seeing on video. Think a raven haired Sarah Michelle Gellar with beautiful boobs and some generous tattoos on her arms. Joanna's Angels is a fun campy spoof of the Charlie's Angels series. Joanna is the head angel with two protegees who don't do much of anything other than listen to Joanna's stories. Her enemy (a la Demi Moore) is a delicious Katrina Kraven. Katrina has brainwashed Tommy Pistol who steals the scene whenever he shows up as a raving lunatic. The sex was hardcore but I didn't find the other girls that attractive. The best scenes both involve Joanna in them. [read the full review]

Kill Girl Kill is neither a perfect adult film nor is it an adult film for everyone. If you like gothic/punk style attire and more industrial style set design, you should give this film a chance as you'll probably find something to enjoy here. If you are into rough sex, feature films or standard style sex you'll probably want to avoid this film. [read the full review]

I'm not going to describe the storyline to this video because there really isn't one past the first ten minutes. Essentially, Mia goes to art school and is bored. She has sex... the movie is kinda a self-indulgent satire of hipsters, art school, and the artist-in-name-only types which populate all the major cities of America. [read the full review]

Finally, finally someone made an authentic, unselfconscious, intentionally ironic porn film. And the director, Eon McKai, made it with such style and great performances that I have to honestly say that I've never seen anything like it. And I want to see more. Bukowski, Japanese broken doll fetish, disaffected trust fund art students -- nothing is safe from this incredibly smart porn film. Beautiful girls that dress and act like girls I know in SF art school circles, (not like porn chicks *at all*), having sex like I know my generation has it. It's funny, beautifully shot, has a clean, fresh look to it, is mysterious and is way hipper than porn. Porn is not cool, but here it is. Finally, my generation is making porn. No fucking fakes, porn nails, Barbies, or fake tits, either. Sexy real life goth girl Keiko plays Mia, an Emily Strange hateful little sprite of an art student who is totally grossed out by her creepy art techer who only uses his position to get young student ass (so familiar).
