Joanna's Angels 2: Alt Throttle Review

Well, we have another episode of Joanna's Angel. In the previous episode, brainwashed villain Tommy Pistol wreaked crazed havoc across New York. Apparently though, the Angels are desperate as he's their new recruit, still wreaking havoc with his general ineptitude. Meanwhile, the President's (Mr. Marcus) daughter (Dana DeArmond) has been kidnapped so the Angels are on the case.

Well like the previous movie, we have a choppy plot where the transitions are confusing especially the payoff. Paying attention to the dialogue reveals its zaniness as the cast makes fun of the "alt" phenomenon so you know not to take any of this seriously. We have cute chase scenes and Joanna dancing in that goofy way which is probably the best part of the movie.

The sex was fine even though it might've been shot a little dark. The performers are definitely an upgrade in terms of looks especially with the infusion of traditional beauty Charlotte Stokely. I also dug Pixie Pearl. Behind the scenes showed some of the setups and stunts while a listen to the audio commentary basically reveals that the cast has ADD as they get easy distracted from actually commenting on the scene. The other problem I had with this dvd was the low audio. I had to turn the sound up to hear the dialogue only to be bombarded later by the higher volume of the menu selections.
