Loose Times at Ridley High is a great film from the very end of the golden age but unfortunately, VCX has ruined it for this DVD presentation. Due to the problems with the picture quality, I can only recommend this film to die-hard fans that must have it in digital form. For all others, I recommend that you wait in hopes that someday VCX will allow another company to distribute their films and they will do a better job with it. [read the full review]

On White Satin Directed by The Lewis Brothers Running time (approx): 68mins After long last I finally tracked down this forgotten classic. Although not as widely known as other films from the golden age of porn such as Insatiable, The Devil In Miss Jones or Deep throat, this one remains special for me as it was one of those porn films I had seen on an old frequently copied VHS years ago, and when I heard it was available on DVD, nostalgia kicked in. The plot, if you can call it that is very basic, following the story of various people in or around a secluded holiday cabin location who are inspired into various carnal activities when exposed to white satin sheets. I remember the version I originally watched was called Satin Sheets, and as you can probably imagine, for a guy of sixteen or so, it was like Id discovered the lost treasure of the Aztecs. The plot is thin and the acting for some of the cast is sketchy but the sex scenes aren't bad. Prisoner of Paradise is nicely shot. Directed by David I. Fraser and Svetlana, written and edited by Fraser, SEX BOAT is a crazy concoction that's part SOME LIKE IT HOT, part LOVE BOAT plus some pirates are thrown in for good measure. A couple of dolts dressed like women (Turk Lyon and Randy West) are stowaways on an all girls cruise and lame comedy antics ensue. However, SEX BOAT stays afloat because of the most incredible cast of beautiful female performers ever assembled for a xxx film. The film will be liked by those who like a plot with their sex, couples, fans of the classics and those who like to sit down and watch a whole adult film. Anthony Spinelli's "Sex World" is a movie that I have been wanting to see for a very long time. I finally obtained a copy of this 1978 classic and the wait was well worth it. As an adult movie with a real plot and actors who could actually act, this film is effective on several levels: As erotica, a character study, and a psychological drama. There are many characters to keep track of here and the movie is practically a who's who of porn in 1978. The story revolves around a group of people taking a chartered bus to a resort known as "Sex World". The characters include Annette Haven as a lesbian left by her lover (Cris Cassidy), who comes to the resort looking for a heterosexual encounter; an adult movie enthusiast (Sharon Thorpe) who can't express her desires in real life; a racist (John Leslie) who is slowly seduced by black beauty Desiree West, and several couples having various sexual problems. Length 83:42 Year 1978 This review will be a comparison between the 2 current releases of Debbie Does Dallas by the companies VCX and NuTech. With a review of the movie following. The VCX dvd of Debbie Does Dallas is slightly longer than the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas. I have seen both and noticed 4 slight cuts to the NuTech dvd. None of which were major. The running time on the VCX dvd is 19 seconds longer than the NuTech dvd, but the NuTech dvd has a better quality picture so I would recommend going with the NuTech dvd over the VCX dvd. The VCX dvd is divided into 5 chapters and there is a pause when the player switches between these chapters. This is not the case on the NuTech dvd as the movie is on one track on the NuTech dvd. The NuTech dvd appears to have been transfered from a film source while the VCX dvd appears to have been mastered from a vhs tape. [read the full review]

As this is a limited edition release it will eventually leave the market and anther company may re-release a better print of it.
