The Betty Boop of porno past, the lovely and charming brunette cutie, Desiree Cousteau, has certainly led a colorful, sex-filled life if "Inside Desiree Cousteau", an exceptional 1979 release from Leon Gucci and VCX, is to be believed. Indeed, this showcase features the bubbly young beauty in her pornographic prime and portends to be an autobiographical flick (...suspend disbelief...) highlighting the many lives of Ms. Cousteau and the varied and sordid sexual escapades accompanying them. To be sure, it seems that Desiree can't go anywhere or do anything without someone putting the moves on her, and--fortunately for the viewer at home--they're almost always successful. Desiree was certainly an amazing performer, neatly wrapping up hot and steamy sex in a naive-but-naughty, almost-ditzy persona (...don't let that last part fool you...), and it all truly shines through here. With a strong supporting cast and fun, vignette-like sequencing strung together in the form of a self-narrated interview, this release is easily one of the best of its era. It's Golden Age goodness at its finest. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!
In terms of the sex, Scene One finds Desiree as a reporter who's willing to go the distance to get an exclusive interview with the governor. Of course, "going the distance" means fucking...and that's exactly what Ms. Cousteau does best. A steamy oral and vaginal affair unfolds at the gov's pool, with the noteworthy public servant serving it up to the spectacular brunette in style.
