Review brief: NOTE: This is a SOFTCORE movie. That means no penetration, no cum shots, and no erections. What does that leave, you might ask? Not much Since Ive never seen a softcore movie before, I had a few assumptions going in. The main two were these: 1). Since they couldnt show any penetration or hard cocks, they would focus on the more romantic side of sex: kissing, cuddling, massage, etc 2). Without all the explicit sex going on, I figured there would be more time to flesh out an actual story. Turns out I was wrong on both accounts. The sex isnt any more romantic than what you see in hardcore porn; its just shot from weird angles so that you dont see anything too X-rated. What sex there is rarely lasts more than 3 or 4 minutes, compared to an average hardcore scene that lasts about 15.

Review brief: This is a great flick for couples, and the scene that is between Spears and Chloe on the stairs was one of the hottest sex scenes in a porn movie I've seen in a long time (it got my wife really hot also). Screenshots (Explicit Content) I've knocked Anabolic/Diabolic quite a bit in the reviews I've done of their titles (deservedly so, I feel), but every once in awhile, they'll release something that I really enjoy; this DVD falls into the latter category. The usual gripes I have do pop up a bit: poor lighting in spots, choppy editing, some bad camerawork, starting scenes in progress, etc. But the sex in this is very good, and the female cast is nothing to sneeze at, either. Despite a few of the usual missteps, this is among the best Anabolic titles I've seen, if not my favorite.

Review brief: The main feature is actually two features put together, first is the film Disco Party that has a run time of one hour and fourteen minutes. The second is a film called Disco Party 3 which has a run time of one hour and twelve minutes. As for Disco Party 2 you might ask? My guess, given the production value of the films, is that the producers honestly felt three follows one. Sunshine has done a poor job with their DVD release of Disco Party.

Review brief: Scene One - Drive In Lovin - Kristi Myst The first 2 minutes or so shows Kristi out side a 50s style drive in / burger joint set. Review brief: Taxi Dancer combines two very attractive elements, VCA Interactive and the lovely Ms Kylie Ireland. Kylie plays a dancer who inadvertently meets the love of her life while she experiences a flat tire. Meeting up with John Decker as the Good Samaritan, allows Kylie a chance to move forward with her life now that her past relationship has just broken up with Steve Hatcher. Apparently being a girl who dances with men and in an environment where women may occasionally have sex with these gentlemen as well does not make for the best serious relationships. Go figure Through her path to a better future, Kylie is haunted by a jealous counterpart, Sydnee Steele who wants to do everything in her power to make sure her friend does not have the chance to develop a special relationship with a significant other. It's not the worst thing I've ever put in my DVD player by any means; it's well shot, the set-ups are imaginative, and the production values are first-rate. On the negative side, the women are the least attractive bunch I've ever seen in a Private disc; all are made up quite heavily, which adds to the harsh appearances of some. There was far too much phony grimacing and scowling during the sex (the director probably believes this is keeping in line with the disc's fetish theme; I think it's just corny, and not at all sexy). Last, and certainly not least of my irritations with this, was the damnable soundtrack.

Review brief: Overview This DVD turned out to be a bit of a disappointment, after reading the glowing reviews of the first one in the series. We see short pieces of Misty Rain sightseeing in Paris, visiting a sex shop, eating at restaurants, and showing us the house she is staying in, interspersed with sex scenes featuring Misty and a few French and American performers, and one flashily edited sequence where she is on stage at a trade show. The sex scenes have little to do with the non-sex scenes, they are just stuck together. I think my biggest problem is the disjointed feeling, there is no continuity. Also, I do not find some of the performers appealing, which also can skew my judgement. On re-viewing the sex scenes, I found many of them to be better than I remembered, so I suppose my initial impression might have been too negative. Misty is probably the worst tour guide ever, when she does her Valley Girl commentary from a L'OpenTour bus.

Review brief: I feel its important to preface this review with the fact that Im not really a big fan of leather. Some aspects intrigue me, but overall, its not my thing. I had heard a lot about this series, though, and the quality of other Titan titles prompted me to check it out. Some of it was simply too much for me, but I will review the overall quality of this disc and will hopefully give enough information to assist in determining whether this is something you may be interested in watching. The features: Static menu; trailers for this titles two sequels; chapters (16) and contact info. Thats it. Given the nice extras to be found on other Titan discs, this is very disappointing. The video for the most part is good, but somewhat grainy, and doesnt match the quality of more current releases (this was produced in 1997). Sound was merely adequate. Ive heard better music, but Ive also heard worse.

Not much Since Ive never seen a softcore movie before, I had a few assumptions going in. The main two were these: 1). Since they couldnt show any penetration or hard cocks, they would focus on the more romantic side of sex: kissing, cuddling, massage, etc 2). Without all the explicit sex going on, I figured there would be more time to flesh out an actual story. Turns out I was wrong on both accounts. The sex isnt any more romantic than what you see in hardcore porn; its just shot from weird angles so that you dont see anything too X-rated. Review brief: Taxi Dancer combines two very attractive elements, VCA Interactive and the lovely Ms Kylie Ireland. Kylie plays a dancer who inadvertently meets the love of her life while she experiences a flat tire. Meeting up with John Decker as the Good Samaritan, allows Kylie a chance to move forward with her life now that her past relationship has just broken up with Steve Hatcher. Apparently being a girl who dances with men and in an environment where women may occasionally have sex with these gentlemen as well does not make for the best serious relationships. Go figure Through her path to a better future, Kylie is haunted by a jealous counterpart, Sydnee Steele who wants to do everything in her power to make sure her friend does not have the chance to develop a special relationship with a significant other. On the negative side, the women are the least attractive bunch I've ever seen in a Private disc; all are made up quite heavily, which adds to the harsh appearances of some. There was far too much phony grimacing and scowling during the sex (the director probably believes this is keeping in line with the disc's fetish theme; I think it's just corny, and not at all sexy). Last, and certainly not least of my irritations with this, was the damnable soundtrack.

Review brief: Overview This DVD turned out to be a bit of a disappointment, after reading the glowing reviews of the first one in the series. We see short pieces of Misty Rain sightseeing in Paris, visiting a sex shop, eating at restaurants, and showing us the house she is staying in, interspersed with sex scenes featuring Misty and a few French and American performers, and one flashily edited sequence where she is on stage at a trade show. The sex scenes have little to do with the non-sex scenes, they are just stuck together. I think my biggest problem is the disjointed feeling, there is no continuity. Also, I do not find some of the performers appealing, which also can skew my judgement. On re-viewing the sex scenes, I found many of them to be better than I remembered, so I suppose my initial impression might have been too negative. Misty is probably the worst tour guide ever, when she does her Valley Girl commentary from a L'OpenTour bus.

Review brief: I feel its important to preface this review with the fact that Im not really a big fan of leather. Some aspects intrigue me, but overall, its not my thing. I had heard a lot about this series, though, and the quality of other Titan titles prompted me to check it out. Some of it was simply too much for me, but I will review the overall quality of this disc and will hopefully give enough information to assist in determining whether this is something you may be interested in watching. The features: Static menu; trailers for this titles two sequels; chapters (16) and contact info. Thats it. Given the nice extras to be found on other Titan discs, this is very disappointing. The video for the most part is good, but somewhat grainy, and doesnt match the quality of more current releases (this was produced in 1997). Sound was merely adequate. Ive heard better music, but Ive also heard worse.
