Contrary to the misleading title, BRING 'UM YOUNG has nothing to do with the Mormon-based University [drum roll], but rather, is just another porn DVD from the decidedly non- conservative institution known as Anabolic Video. Of course, any xxx-rated movie with a title like this is bound to raise a few eyebrows as well as other body parts, but rest assured, there are no Traci Lords-aged girls in this feature. But like the BARELY LEGAL series from Hustler Video, this video is an obvious (and commendable, might I add) attempt to pander to the dirty old man/woman buried deep in every porn watcher's heart. However, once you get past the novelty of seeing young and the restless at play, maintaining viewer interest in this series will ultimately depend on the strength of its fucking and sucking scenes. The not-sequel from 1992 features Deidre Holland and Rocco Siffredi as a couple of vampiric shape-changers and Ashlyn Gere as an adventurous woman who is seduced and intrigued by them. The plot is less ambiguous this time around, although not exactly mainstream. I suppose the viewer is aided by the obvious loans from other movies, most obviously Tony Scott's The Hunger. Watching the movie I was struck by a realization of how much I had been missing real and intriguing plots in porn. It centers on Rocco Siffredi and Deidre Holland as a couple of shape-changers who can turn into any person they like if they drain their sexual energy; and on Ashlyn Gere as a woman who gets involved with them.. They first meet at an orgy-style party where one can briefly see a young and hot Sunset Thomas riding on hubby Zach. Deidre stands in a corner looking bored while being touched by another woman. Meanwhile Ashlyn goes to the bathroom and is interrupted by Deidre who suddenly turns into Rocco, the 'real' Rocco still having fun at the party. A sex scene follows between the two and there's quite some energy between them, Rocco finally shooting on Ashlyn's chin and breasts. After the orgy, on their way home, Rocco is grumpy since his energy has been partially drained by Deidre during her transformation... Things get worse when Ashlyn turns up again at their home. Sorority Sex Kittens - Part 1 is a good movie to purchase or rent if you like lighthearted plot-based films and films with a sorority/college theme. Since the story continues in the next disc in the series, I would recommend purchasing or renting this one with its sequel Sorority Sex Kittens - Part 2. If the story really matters to you, you also would probably want to rent or purchase Sorority Pink and Sorority Pink 2 since they hold the origins of the storyline. However, Vivid has done a horrible job with their DVD release of Bad Wives by using what they are calling the director's cut of the film that has excised more of the film then is included on the disc. The result is an absolute hack job that barely even resembles the original film. Vivid promised a Collector's Edition release of the movie with the uncut movie on it over a decade ago that never materialized. Sadly, this reviewer can't recommend this hack job of a modern classic. Unfortunately I did not read andyblake's review before purchasing. I had rented the VHS video and it was fantastic 4.5 stars with outstanding scenes from Tricia Devereaux(love the glasses) and Missy. So I had purchased the DVD for a permanent copy expecting better picture and sound. What VIVID did to the DVD is just wrong. To get their multiangle shots they just cut up the scene. None of the angles are the original full scene. Let me keep this simple. DO NOT BUY THE DVD. By all means get the VHS copy, it was great. Message to VIVID You have permanently lost a customer. I will never purchase/rent a VIVID DVD in the future. Multiangle must have the original scene intact on angle 1, other angles can be used if additional footage is available. [read the full review]
