This one is a few years old, but with Angela White in our opening scene, you know I had to give this a watch and review. Add in the lovely Karlee Grey (even though the scene was more centered around Karlee and Charles, Angela was the added bonus), and things continue to get better, and an easy choice for the spotlight scene. The film, DADDY'S GIRLS from SKOW FOR GIRLFRIENDS FILMS, and Director B. Skow, tells us the story of neighboring families. The patriarchs of these 2 families, Bob(Alec Knight) and Dale(Evan Stone) just so happen to be best friends. As the film opens, Bob is helping Dale get things ready for a homecoming party. The occasion? Dale's blind daughter, Samantha(Maddy O'Reilly) is fresh from a mental facility, after an unsuccessful try at suicide. During all of this time, Samantha's suicide attempt has been attributed solely to her, however, Bob harbors a terrible secret. That is that, he is responsible for taking Samantha's virginity, and then basically dumping her. It was this event that was actually the cause of her suicide attempt. There's great care towards the art direction and a solid cast, but the movie overall seems a little hollow and rushed despite Dale DaBone playing a solid Tony Stark and Derrick Pierce being just as good as the Mandarin.
