Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done, just as one has come to expect from Axel Braun. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but there are a couple areas where it seemed a bit heavy. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. It's nicely lit with a clear picture and a great eye behind the camera.

Watermark Warning: The usual Vivid watermark in the lower right corner. It's small, fairly tasteful (if a watermark can be such a thing), and stays stationary making it easy to put out of mind. Although I can't say that I like to see watermarks, if a company feels that's what they have to do in order to protect their product I hope they can keep them as tasteful as Vivid does here.

The Movie: Unless you've been living in a deeper cave than even I have the last decade or so, you've heard the story of billionaire industrialist Tony Stark and his alter ego, the superhero Iron Man. Here award winning adult director Axel Braun takes aim at one of Marvel Comics' biggest characters.

Dana (Hoe Yinsen) eagerly gobbles Dale's (Tony Stark) knob after the electromagnet keeping his heart going also causes his cock to swell. Iron Man XXX: An Axel Braun Parody is a pretty good comic parody. As always with Axel Braun, the technical side of things is very well done, with great care towards the costumes as well as some nice reverence towards the source material. That doesn't change here, and I also liked how the final scene was worked in as a tag to the movie after the final credits much like how Marvel's recent movies always have a little something extra worthwhile during the final credits. As for the movie itself, it's good but definitely left me wanting more. The movie itself seemed a bit hollow even by porn or comic book standards, but the cast did a very nice job. I can't think of anyone better to play Tony Stark in today's porn world than Dale DaBone, and Derrick Pierce does a great job as the Mandarin. Brooklyn Lee does a nice job as Black Widow once again, and I loved Dana DeArmond in the Dr. Yinsen role. Alec Knight seemed perfect as Happy Hogun in his non-sex role, and although Lexi Belle did a great job sexually, I just couldn't buy her as Pepper Potts. Sexually the movie works very well. Dana and Dale start things out with a great anal scene, and Dale keep things going with a nice threesome. Lexi turns out two nice scenes, first in an oral scene with Derrick and then in a nice lesbian scene with Brooklyn. Shazia's tag scene with Lexington was easily the weakest in the movie, not because of her looks (she's drop dead gorgeous) or the chemistry, but due to the editing being extremely noticeable and leaving the scene a bit jumpy. Iron Man XXX: An Axel Braun Parody has the strong art direction you've come to expect from Braun's award winning parodies, but is a bit light on the story and the characterizations and sex call a little short in a few places.

The Extras: The only extras on the first DVD are a few commercials. The second DVD starts out with trailers from five other Axel Braun parodies. The photo gallery lasts about three and a half minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, non-sex version of the movie lasting about twenty two minutes, and commercials.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twelve minutes. Things start out with a little fun with Eli Cross behind the camera as they shoot the cave scene with Dale, Dana, and Shylar. There's a little more fun with Axel as they shoot the scene, as well as a quick moment with set designers extraordinaire Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton. This is an okay featurette. There's a few fun moments, but it feels very limited and only addresses one small part of the movie.

Note to Vivid: It's a no-brainer that movies like this are going to sell like crazy, but I hope you start to give them a little substance to go along with the style soon.
