Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is very nice for the most part, but there are a few areas where the balance is a little out of whack as well as having a few background noises during the outdoor sequences. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. There's some very solid effort put into the lighting, as well as a clear picture and solid care behind the camera.
The Movie:
Over fifty years ago, J. Lee Thompson directed the tale of revenge of convict Max Cady, played then by the great Robert Mitchum, as he terrorized his lawyer Gregory Peck over sins Peck committed during his trial that got him sent to prison by going after his wife and teenage daughter. Twenty years later, Martin Scorsese retold the tale with Robert DeNiro taking over for Robert Mitchum terrorizing Nick Nolte. Here Bonnie Rotten directs and takes over for Mitchum and DeNiro while the roles are reversed and Chanel Preston plays the lawyer trying to protect her reputation as well as her family.

Cape Fear XXX is a very solid porn parody that's well worth checking out. I'll admit to being a little torn on this one going in, as I'm not a big fan of Bonnie Rotten. I'll readily admit that she puts plenty into her scenes, but her excessive ink is an extreme turnoff for me. As for the movie, I remember watching the Scorsese remake decades ago thinking that it was very well made, but not my type of movie. At the same time, I could see plenty of potential for it as a porn parody, including Bonnie's ink fitting her role pretty well as an ex-con. Long story short, Bonnie Rotten completely nailed this one both in front of the camera as well as behind it. In fact, she did such a good job that I felt the need to watch the original version, and ordered it online before I even finished watching this version. There's very nice care put into the story, and the cast does a great job bringing it to life with some very solid acting. Bonnie is fantastic as the psychopathic Max Cady, and Chanel Preston, Alec Knight, and Jodi Taylor were every bit as solid of a job as the family she's tormenting. Chanel is excellent as the head of the household , while Jodi plays the innocent but curious daughter and Alec rounds things out as the devoted husband. Alec actually shined every bit as well as the ladies here and reminded me of just how solid of a male lead he is and how great he is at playing the everyman. They're joined by a great cast with both Evan Stone and Tommy Pistol doing the fantastic job one has learned to expect from them whether their clothes are on or off. Luna Star also does a very nice job sexually to round things out. Sexually the movie works just as well, with Bonnie turning out three very solid scenes, with Jodi joining her for one scene and Chanel and Luna each adding a scene. If there's a complaint here, for me it was that there was only one scene each for Jodi and Chanel with how solid of performers each of them are. That said, that's as close to a complaint as I can come with Cape Fear XXX and it's not even that much of a complaint with how well the sex fits into the story. Cape Fear XXX is a very well done porn parody, and a must buy release for anyone who's a fan of the earlier mainstream releases.

Trailers are included for two other DreamZone parodies. The photo gallery lasts over seven and a half minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, the non-sex version of Welcome Back Kotter XXX, and commercials.
The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty eight and a half minutes and is nicely broken down day by day. There's plenty of interviews with the cast, as well as shooting scenes and photo galleries. As usual Evan Stone is plenty of fun both bursting in on Chanel's interview as well as talking about the paperwork to shoot porn. There's a few words from Bonnie about the movie, as well as plenty of her working with the cast. This is a very nice behind the scenes featurette. You get to see plenty of how hands-on Bonnie is working with the cast, as well as getting some great interviews and a bit of fun with the cast. This is a very nice addition to the overall release.
