Review brief: How in the world has the Barely Legal series reached 43 volumes? If this volume (#42) is any indicator, porn viewers of the world must have become desperate the past few years. Granted, the girls range from attractive to very pretty. But the setups, voiceovers (in the middle of the sex action), and storylines are downright stupid. The sex could be shot much better (too many long-distance, back-of-the-head, and guys mug shots). I know they sell these things in hotel rooms in X, not XXX, form. But give the home viewers the XXX version, will you please? And can you take the action indoors a bit more often? Carrot-topped Emily Davinci takes on Nick Manning in the first scene. Of course, theyre out by a swimming pool. He seems more intent on showing off his stiff cock to the world, thumping it on, rather than sticking it in, her pussy.

Expectations I've only viewed volume one of the Spring Chickens series from Diabolic, and I must admit, I wasn't impressed the least bit. There was just nothing professional or special with the title as it had a cheesy theme, an amateurish feel and lousy performances. I don't know how this series made it to volume six. Perhaps it has improved since it's first installment. I'm here to find out and let you know if Spring Chickens 6 is worthy of your cash. Needless to say, my expectations are not high.

Review brief: Description This is a compilation of several scenes from earlier Randy West productions. General Impression The scenes here are all okay, and there are some golden oldies. It's not a really fun dvd, though. The menu has the logos for Up & Cummers, Raw Sex, I Love Lesbians, Real Female Masturbation, and Foot Lovers Only. There are no other indications of what the scenes are, what the sources were, or who is in them. After watching each scene, you are returned to the main menu. And, inexplicably, halfway through the scene from I Love Lesbians, the video portion continues on while the sound from the first half starts over. Sex The highlight scene is undoubtably Jenna with Randy. He introduces her as a magazine model who has done something with Penthouse. Review brief: This was my first Adult DVD, and starring Stacy Valentine, I was certain that it would be worth the money. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right DVD to choose. The plot is extremely weak and weird, the cast of actresses, while hot, never seem to be able to pick up any momentum in the sex, because of the screwy camera which keeps switching angles so fast that by the time the picture reached from my brain to my dick, it was a completely different shot. Not to mention the fact that while the sex shows some promise, there never is really anything to get your motor running. Most shots don't show enough or move simply too fast. And without a doubt, the biggest crime of all, is not enough Stacy!!! She does one oral at the beginning that you can barely make out because of the lovely aforementioned angle switching, and the final scene with her, Mark Davis and Stephanie Swift is too darkly lit and really not at all explicit.

Review brief: Save your money. Only half of the females in this DVD can be considered "barely legal" types. It would be better if they listed the names of the females. On the cover, there is a brunette doing a BJ. She is sexy, but in the DVD she is tall and not what I expected. The blonde on the cover has one scene, but she looks less innocent and not a show stopper or highlight in the DVD. The redhead on the cover (in the lower-right corner on the cover) looks like the "Barely Legal" type. She has one decent scene that could have been very hot. Shes dressed in slingback heels with the teen,flowery angle socks. It doesn't work. An error on the production side. A spanish female on the back cover is very hot on this DVD. Theres a scene where she's getting anal and you can literally see her pussy dripping. I watched the scene over and over again. Most likely the best scene. There's a horny female doing a guy in a DVD stock room. It would have been cool if they said who she is. You get the feeling they picked her up and said, "hey lets use the stock room." Review brief: Serenitys a modern day witch who falls in love with mortal Tony Tedeschi. She could have him in an instant, of course, if she used her magical powers, but shes never felt anything like this before, and, as she tells her brother (Tom Byron), she wants to get Tony the old-fashioned way anyway, without spells. So what does she do? She spreads her legs on their first date. This could have been funny if this had been, say, the second sex scene in the movie and if the point was that Serenity is so naïve in the ways of mortals that she thinks if Tony will fuck her he must also love her. Instead, its the last scenewhich means its love at first sight, which means Serenity didnt have to bother, which means she could have spent her time making a better movie. Enchanted (1997) is a low-energy romp directed by Jim Enright. The last Jim Enright film I reviewed was Babes Illustrated 5. He managed to screw that one up with close-ups and poor editing. This time around, hes got a better handle on his camera, but a lousy ear. Okay, remember, this is a story film.

Review brief: Private Classics: Private Stories 2 Private After the relative disappointments of my first step in reacquainting myself with Private's magazine series Private Stories, I was keen to find out if my mixture of fond and less favourable memories of the 1995 originals were hopelessly unrealistic. The format is unchanged (though the scenes were originally interspersed with trailers and adverts): short, sharp sex scenes with quick set ups and fast paced sex. Hole In One The old golf course number provides ample scope for double entendre, as a lady golfer's wayward shot ends up in Mike Foster's lap, and his balls end up in her mouth.

Review brief: Private Classics - Private Stories 1 Private My tastes have changed in the interim, but I remember being really delighted at the time to acquire a dodgy tape containing two editions of the Private Stories series. That was in 1996, as I recall. Maybe it's not quite long enough ago to make this rediscovery of old Private material, once thought of insufficient technical quality for DVD but now re-issued, a real nostalgia trip, but it's getting that way. Like the Private Video Magazine series, Private Stories uses the magazine format of several short, self-contained sex scenes packed into a "compact" running time.

Bruno SX, John Walton, Xavier, Pascal, Jean-Michel and others Cut to the chase: This is a French version of an Italian movie. The credits at the end are missing, so I'm not sure about ID's. I have no idea why the movie got this title, other than the fact that the original "La Femme Du Pecheur" did so well. At any rate, Jennifer Dior plays some kind of psychic who can transport people to their fantasies, or something like that. Angelica is her girlfriend/lover, and spends most of her time looking at Jennifer's photos. There are a couple of decent sex scenes in the movie, but it's really fairly bland. There appears to have been a little tracking problem during the mastering of the DVD, as we get an occasional line across the bottom.

Even with this cast Im not expecting anything above average. Initial Reaction: Its okay, but nothing special. Who Should Watch It : Fans of anal action Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants really nasty anal action or who wants some tease instead of plot The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: Although most of the audio is pretty good, some definitely leaves a bit to be desired. The sex scenes are normally well balanced with only a few minor background noises. The setup sequences, however, are poorly balanced and make it very hard to hear Ava Vincents narration. The video is okay, and very comparable to VHS. Theres a little grain, okay lighting, and just struck me as very average.

There isnt much dialogue in the feature, and what there is comes across pretty average. The video is pretty well done. Its normally clear and well lit, although there are a few remnants that pop up. Music: The music has a definite beat to it, and really reminds me of a strip club. Its often the only music, but it does change to balance nicely with the audio in some scenes.

Review brief: Description Soft-focus 'porn for women' comedy with condom use. The plot is a satire about making an adult movie, mostly auditioning the male talent. Initial Impressions I like the idea of porn that loses the misogyny and formulaic aspects of a lot of porn, and that has more focus on the chemistry between the players. And so I always want to like Candida Royalle's movies, but they are so slow and boring that it takes major courage for me to pop one in the dvd player. I was thinking that maybe my memories of how slow these things are has become exaggerated. Or maybe she has changed lately and picked up the pace? Nope, I guess not! General Comments The plot provides a few minutes of chuckles, but not many for an 82 minute film. Much of what is meant to be funny is only a ludicrous flop.
