The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and nicely balanced while the video is nicely lit and barely shows any grain. This appears to be a movie from the early nineties, and for that timeframe the technical aspects are top notch.

Music: The music comes and goes. There’s a bit of cheesy porn music that rests in the background of the first scene, and than that there’s no music until the loud cheesy porn music in the final scene.

Disc Problems: There’s no time stamp. This is always a must for me in DVDs as it lets the viewer jump to any point they want in a DVD. As I understand it, a time stamp takes virtually nothing for either cost or effort, so whenever I see a DVD without one I can’t help but be a little disappointed.

Menus: The menus are okay at best. The main menu is definitely the better menu as it has a bit of animation that works its way around a photo of the boxcover. The chapter menu is very basic and lets you choose a scene based on a chapter number and a still of each chapter.

The Feature

Sarah Young The Goddess of Love collects four scenes with buxom brunette Sarah Young. Each scene has a little story to get it going as well as a little tease.

Scene 1 - Sarah Young and T. T. Boy

Sarah, a nice looking brunette with big tits and big hair, relaxes on the couch with a book wearing a white dress. When T. T. shows up he’s a bit disappointed that they won the game, but sees another opportunity to score with Sarah. This scene didn’t do much of anything for me. To start with, Sarah reminded me of why we commonly make fun of the styles in the late eighties and early nineties. More importantly, it was fairly boring and had poor chemistry. T. T. came off as a complete jackass even before he told Sarah that he didn’t care about her, and I could have easily dozed off almost anywhere in the scene. This is a anything but a hot introduction to Sarah Young.

Scene 2 - Sarah Young, Peter North, Tom Byron, and T. T. Boy

T. T. watches and jerks off as Sarah sucks Peter and Tommy (I think) fucks her from behind. They trade places so Tommy can get his knob gobbled while she bounces on Peter’s pole reverse cowgirl style as T. T. shows why most people don’t think of guys when they think of cheerleaders. T. T. moves in for a little knob gobbling while Tommy moves behind Sarah to help Peter DP before they trade places so T. T. can get in on the DP action. The reign of apathy continued through this scene. Sarah looks like she’s into the scene okay, but there’s no real chemistry in the scene. Once again T. T. comes off as a complete shitbird, and made me wish that the red phone would start ringing offscreen causing one of the performers to magically turn into Matt Ramsey and give T. T.’s ass a little justice. This scene is average at best even if you can stand the attitude and T. T. Boy in the scene.

Scene3 - Sarah Young, Peter North, Steve Drake, and Marc “Dick O Death” Wallice

Sarah lets Peter know that she doesn’t mind his friends coming over to watch the game because she’s going to see just how little clothes she has to have on as she does some aerobics. When she hurts herself, Steve and Marc decide to try a new medical technique out on her to help her get better. This is another average at best scene. They put some nice energy in, but I couldn’t help but laugh at the scene. Sarah shows some nice potential through this scene, but the guys really held it back.

Scene 4 - Sarah Young and Sean Michaels

When Sarah gets a little stressed, she decides to call Sean’s Sensual Massage Service. Sean makes a house call for Sarah, and starts out massaging her feet to help introduce her to the different types of massages. He moves on to give her a neck massage before they move to a rug in front of the fireplace to take their massage to the next level. This is probably the best scene in the movie. Sean and Sarah have very nice chemistry, and the massage opening easily starts things off right. I like how the massage is drawn out into a nice tease and is used to highlight Sarah’s body. Sean comes off as the best guy in the movie, but the scene still doesn’t make it much past the average mark due to the pace of the scene. It seemed like it went on forever, and I couldn’t help but wish that it would have had about three more trips to the editing bay to tighten it up. Even being the probable winner out of the movie, this scene doesn’t make it past the average mark.

Sarah Young The Goddess of Love has a couple decent ideas, but never really makes anything of them. I like the massage opening in the last scene and there’s a nice effort at humor to open up the aerobics scene. Sexually, Sarah shows some decent potential, and takes on one cock as easy as four while making anal and double penetrations look just as easy as plain old vaginal action. The problems come with most everything else. The guys are still known as being quality male talent, but here they normally look like they’re just there to try to make rent. There’s a strong feeling that the movie is aimed at couples despite the anal and double penetrations, and it often felt like the cast was trying to hold back a bit. The scenes also suffer by having some sharp editing and going from a fun setup to a stereotypical (at best) porn scene. It might have been a little better if Sarah’s scene with Sean Michaels was sandwiched in the middle to break up the feel of the movie a little, but even that would only be a cosmetic change. Sarah Young The Goddess of Love is a pretty average fuck flick aimed at couples.

Currently, most of Sarah Young’s movies can be found online at European stores. I think I’d try to beg a rental store or two to carry a few of these before you spent money on this one to get it from Europe. The technical aspects are very well done for the age of the movie, but the sex is a bit flat and there’s no real extras. This is an average at best movie on an average at best DVD.

Note to MoserVision: I doubt many people know who Sarah Young is. I know I had no clue. Having something like a biography, a filmography, or if possible, an interview with Sarah would seem like a great extra.
