Xtreme Measures is not one of DVSX's better releases. Not even close. The title is directed by Mark Gold (this is the first I've heard of him) and if DVSX was smart, they would cut this guy lose. While the sex between the performers is decent, the setups are laughable and tacky, the camera work is average at best and the lighting & tech merits are very average with shadows and washed out colors. For a title that promises to "push the envelope" Xtreme Measures greatly disappoints and views more like a slow paced 80's vhs release. That said, the cast is strong and Taylor Rain has a decent scene so die hard fans may want to give the title a spin. For everyone else, this dvd is not recommended. |
