Review brief: After taking us out in the fresh air and sunshine in Manplay09, Number 10 takes us back into the confinement of the studio with its artificial light making it seem a regression and not an advancement over others in the series. The visible cameramen are seen again, too; and annoying flashbulbs pop from time to time. The guys though are hot, and thats what we look for in this unscripted continuous orgy. There are some young guys featured in this one, such as Brent Everett, a sensational young twink who appeared in Centaurs Navy Blues. Brentjust listed by his first name here as are all the othershas spiky hair, bee-stung lips, a compact bod, and a big dick. The locations throw it off a little a couple times, but it also seems to fit the locations at those places. The video is a bit artistic. It has a soft feel and the lighting is often played with to help with the mood of the scenes. The video definitely helps with the artistic feeling of the feature, and makes things very beautiful.

Overall, I would have to say this movie is more frustrating than satisfying. Barring the first scene, there's either too much going on or shots are too short, or something is detracting from the sex. Bottom line, I recommend it to Julia Chanel fans for the first scene; I suggest Draghixa fans rent it if possible. Christoph Clarke fans will probably like it, since he's in most of the scenes. Review brief: How appropriate I thought that a DVD entitled Men of the Midnight Hour should arrive just in time for Halloween. The Pix on the cover looked exciting and it was with joyous expectation that I popped it into the DVD player. First upand I mean UPwas a husky dude wearing a silky black cape and a silver mask that covered his entire face who was outside on a patio with a beautifully built stud clad only in red bikini briefs who was wearing a jesters half-mask that left the mouth free for cocksucking. Not understanding the language may be a curse or a blessing in this instance, but as there's lots of dialogue, you may find that there's not enough sex for the money. I recommend this to Kelly Trump fans; most others will probably want to avoid it. The Story: Kelly is convinced by Titus to have sex with him, but gets ticked when he leaves immediately after he's cum. In revenge, she gives him a six-inch nose; guess he told one too many lies. We go through some asides so the girls can have sex and we can see some bad magic tricks, after which Titus and his pal, played by Chris, kidnap one of the coven members and have sex with her.

They don't come close to the gonzo standard, but they're usually more than a minute or two.

The EuroVisie version of the DVD I purchased suffers from pixelation in one scene. You might want to go with MMV's version instead. Features: Menu with chapter selections. Who Should Watch It : Couples Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting something really soft or really hard Audio /Video Quality: The audio leaves a bit to be desired, and its mostly with how its mixed. The main audio is on the left channel, while the music is on the right channel. This seems to make it very easy for one to drown out the other, and because of it I had a hard time understanding some of the dialogue. Theres also some of the audio which appears to be dubbed.

Features: A chapter menu, which didn't work on my player. I had to stop the DVD, dismount and remount it to continue. The menu includes the names of the performers in each scene, which is a nice touch, and a Cumshot Recap. A photo gallery consisting of about 90 seconds of glam shots and outtakes from the scenes; there are no controls over the selection or pace. Web site info DVD releases (available on the back side of the DVD) Scenes: 1) Rebecca and Mark Rebecca had recently arrived in the US when this scene was done so her knowledge of English was still limited.

Review brief: I like porn, but when I watch the Castings movies I cant help rooting for chicks who tell Pierre Woodman that they arent interested in doing what he wants them to do. Theyre the underdogs, after all. And because Woodman occasionally includes a failure in his movies, their segments are far and away the most dramatic. Yet as Woodman himself points out, all the girls tell him that at first; certainly its a constant refrain in this film. So its the most reluctant chicks who are the most interesting, and no one here, in Castings 15, is more reluctant than Anita, an 18-year-old blonde who claims to be a virgin. So powerful is our desirelet alone our willingnessto suspend disbelief that I was mentally urging Anita off the bed and out the door despite knowing full well that the subtitle of this particular film is, Anitas First Time. Its fairly clear, but the balance isnt the best. The video leaves quite a bit to be desires. Its dark, off colored at times, and is a little below VHS quality. Its also framed poorly, as theres a wide black line along the left and bottom edges of the picture. Music: The music is fairly typical cheesy porno music, and is a little on the loud side.

The audio is clear at times, but often poorly balanced. The video shows its age as well through a bit of grain. The bigger problem is the lighting, which is extremely inconsistent and often throws off the colors in the feature. Finally, the cameras pop into view occasionally and the slow motion portions of the feature are done poorly so that theyre jumpy and a bit annoying rather than feeling slow and romantic. Music: The music has a nice romantic feel to it, and is often just a little on the loud side.

Review brief: I like porn, but when I watch the Castings movies I cant help rooting for chicks who tell Pierre Woodman that they arent interested in doing what he wants them to do. Theyre the underdogs, after all. And because Woodman occasionally includes a failure in his movies, their segments are far and away the most dramatic. Yet as Woodman himself points out, all the girls tell him that at first; certainly its a constant refrain in this film. So its the most reluctant chicks who are the most interesting, and no one here, in Castings 15, is more reluctant than Anita, an 18-year-old blonde who claims to be a virgin. So powerful is our desirelet alone our willingnessto suspend disbelief that I was mentally urging Anita off the bed and out the door despite knowing full well that the subtitle of this particular film is, Anitas First Time. Review brief: Expectations Smash tends to produce a quality product. This is the first volume in this new series, so I have nothing to base it on except Smash's reputation. No Who's Hot? Tianna Tianna is a hot, though trashy looking redhead wearing a skimpy teddy. She plays the vamp as her husband hooks her up to be fucked by a black guy. She blows him with abandon and fucks him like a pro. About the only problem with this scene is that she is supposed to be a normal wife, but she has both of her nipples pierced like a stripper. Oh well. Good scene! Whack Factor: 7 Casey Casey is a long, lean blonde who actually looks like she might be a real wife. Attractive and not slutty. Its fairly clear, but the balance isnt the best. The video leaves quite a bit to be desires. Its dark, off colored at times, and is a little below VHS quality. Its also framed poorly, as theres a wide black line along the left and bottom edges of the picture. Music: The music is fairly typical cheesy porno music, and is a little on the loud side.

The audio is clear at times, but often poorly balanced. The video shows its age as well through a bit of grain. The bigger problem is the lighting, which is extremely inconsistent and often throws off the colors in the feature. Finally, the cameras pop into view occasionally and the slow motion portions of the feature are done poorly so that theyre jumpy and a bit annoying rather than feeling slow and romantic. Music: The music has a nice romantic feel to it, and is often just a little on the loud side.

Noddtobe, based on a book by Henri de Ballsack. Someone's had fun cooking up a slew of puns for the end credits. My favorite? The production sound mixer, Sean Song d'Moor. Production date: ©2002 Length: 65 min. Extras: A 10-min. behind-the-scenes featurette and a gallery with 42 images. Audio/visual quality: The visual quality is tolerable, but not the finest effort I've seen from this studio. The camerawork meanders at times; there are unsteady moments in the handheld footage and possibly too much use of the zoom. The focus is not always as sharp or careful as it should be. The lighting conditions also pose a minor challenge, due to the high contrast between sunlit windows and candlelit interior. Despite the flaws, the movie's never unwatchable.
