Audio/visual quality: The technical qualities of Kick Ass DVDs continue to impress me. The visual strengths include a nice variety of satisfying camera angles and a sharp focus even during extreme close-ups. The audio suffers very slightly from hiss and minor background noises, but the clarity is good on the important stuff, like the bed squeaking. There's normally no music during the sex, although Rhiannon's scene does include the Specs Appeal theme at an unobtrusive volume in the background.

Review brief: Nordic Debutantes #4 Overall Impression The one thing this disc has going for it is there are definitely some good looking women involved. What it is missing is polish. The lighting, editing, and overall production values are far from impressive, even below you average American gonzo production. Review brief: Helen Contre Helen Directed by Peter Elsen Note: I believe this DVD is also distributed in the U.S. by Pleasure as "When Helen Meets Monique" Overall Impression The film is in French I believe, but it is a bit of a non issue since there is next to no dialouge during the sex, just a few brief exchanges between Covet and Duval. There are a lot of things that I really liked about this import, however there are some drawbacks. The film has a very soft and slow sensual feel to it. There is quite a bit of slow motion used, as well as extremely soft lighting and mellow music tracks. At times this works, and at times it makes it very hard to enjoy the performances. The look and style of the sets, and clothing deserve high marks. The girls can be found wearing some great stuff throughout this one, and it really helps.

Review brief: Expectations I generally like Private titles so I wanted to sample a disc from this series. When I saw Silvia in the title role, I figured it was time. Capsule Review This is a very weak DVD. If it is indicitive of other discs in this series (and I have no reason not to believe this is the case), it is a very weak series. Basically they haul out some moldy old interview footage of girls who would eventually work for Private. They do not look good in that they are not made up, costumed, etc. They answer some ridiculous questions for an extended period of time. They take off their clothes and pose for a few minutes. Then we cut to a scene from another Private movie, along with the outtakes from the scene. This is a compilation disc at best, and a bad one at that! Technical All of the interview scenes are of terrible quality, audio & video.

Review brief: Expectations I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never watched one of the Reality titles before. I generally like Private releases and the inclusion of several top directors shows promise. Capsule Review This disc is very inconsistent. 3 of the 8 scenes are Reports - "Without Limits 2", "Guns & Rough Sex", & "The Sexterminators" - the extra goodies that are generally included on all Private releases. I have a problem with them counting these as scenes on this disc. That means there are really only 5 scenes on this disc. Those are the only ones I will review. Technical The technical aspects of this DVD vary, but are generally good. The disc is really more of a comp than an original release, so audio and video vary.

The only decent part of the disc is the fact that it does appear to contain the uncut version of the film.

Review brief: Mr. Beaver Checks In #12 Directed by Frank Thring Overall Impression I haven't seen anything from good old Frank in a few years so I was curious to see what he was up to with this series from Hustler. The premise of the series I suppose is Mr. Beaver (Frank Thring) is your prototypical horny middle aged business man who dreams about the young pussy he can't really get anymore. On top of that he always finds someway to bumble his opportunities to land those hot young chicks he wants so badly. Ror a director that loves casting himself in his own flicks I must say for once Thring has cast himself in a believable role, that of the dirty old pervert. As far as the film goes It has some moments. I enjoyed the first and last scenes, but the other three are nothing to get to excited about. In my opinion. What really did impress me was the way menus were set up. They did a really nice job here, especially on the chapter or scene menus.

Review brief: Iron Maidens is a new line by Diabolic. I had very high hopes for this movie, but after viewing I felt let down. Lex Stars in every scene as the only male and goes against 2 girls in each scene, bar the final, where he takes on 3 girls. Every scene begins with the girls teasing us with vibrators and dildos, before Lex enters to give them the real thing. In about 2 scenes, Lex cums early, but after a clean-up, continues on with the action which is good to see. You dont see this in many movies. Themes - Interracial, Toys, Group Sex Scene 1: Jewel DeNyle + Jewels Jade Vs Lex Every time I watch DeNyle I just can never fully enjoy the scene. I dont find her very attractive and she always seems to over do it in her scenes. This scene was no different and with Jewels Jade by her side, the situation isnt helped. If anything it makes it worse as the two girls constantly appear to be trying to out do each other. For me it ruins the scene. If we saw him in various stages of undress or fondling some hunk or getting gradually higher, it might be more interesting. But I think it would be even better just to let the scenes follow without this irritating interruption. And pretty good scenes they are. First up (literally) are Julian Pierce and Travis Reed.

Capsule Review This is a very weak DVD. If it is indicitive of other discs in this series (and I have no reason not to believe this is the case), it is a very weak series. Basically they haul out some moldy old interview footage of girls who would eventually work for Private. They do not look good in that they are not made up, costumed, etc. They answer some ridiculous questions for an extended period of time. They take off their clothes and pose for a few minutes. Then we cut to a scene from another Private movie, along with the outtakes from the scene. This is a compilation disc at best, and a bad one at that! I have a problem with them counting these as scenes on this disc. That means there are really only 5 scenes on this disc. Those are the only ones I will review. Technical The technical aspects of this DVD vary, but are generally good. The disc is really more of a comp than an original release, so audio and video vary.

The premise of the series I suppose is Mr. Beaver (Frank Thring) is your prototypical horny middle aged business man who dreams about the young pussy he can't really get anymore. On top of that he always finds someway to bumble his opportunities to land those hot young chicks he wants so badly. Ror a director that loves casting himself in his own flicks I must say for once Thring has cast himself in a believable role, that of the dirty old pervert. As far as the film goes It has some moments. I enjoyed the first and last scenes, but the other three are nothing to get to excited about. In my opinion.
