Initial Expectations: I’ve been very impressed with this series, and Kylie has been one of my favorite stars for about as long as I’ve watched porn. I can’t help but have high expectations.

Initial Reaction: This DVD should come with a warning for people to drink a lot of fluids when watching.

Who Should Watch It : It’s a MUST for any fan of Kylie Ireland

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who doesn’t like Kylie Ireland or who wants something other than pure whacking material

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is extremely clear and doesn’t even have the hint of a background noise. The video is a little soft, but works here. The softness doesn’t draw away from the feature at all, and in fact, might enhance it a little by making it look a little artistic with a photo spread type feel. It’s well lit throughout the entire feature, but there is a bit of change between the two angles.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu gives the feature a great first impression. Kylie’s voice nicely welcomes you and lets you know what’s in store for you. Each section has a different intro from Kylie, done in the style of that section.

The Feature: I don’t know what it is about her exactly, but Kylie Ireland became one of my favorite porn stars about the first time I saw her. Maybe it was her great smile or the way her eyes seemed to say so much as she fucked like a banshee. Maybe it was that she could act or the realistic feeling she had around her. Later on, maybe it was even her changing hair colors and gradual movement into one of porn’s nastier stars. Regardless, Kylie Ireland has been one of my favorite porn stars for a long time, which made her seem like a great choice for an interactive title to me.

As usual with the My Plaything series, you have plenty of choices of what “you” want to do to Kylie. Starting out, you can have Kylie tease you. She’ll be more than happy to show off her tits, ass, or pussy as she wears some virginal white lingerie at the bottom of a helical staircase. If you want to watch her masturbate, Kylie will lay back in an office chair wearing a black bra, stockings, fuck-me pumps, and suitcoat and play with herself until you’re satisfied. You can watch her finger herself, fuck her pussy with a dildo or vibrator, or even work her ass over with a buttplug. You want foreplay? No problem. Kylie will lay back in some white lingerie in front of a piano and let you do as you will to her. You can finger her, fuck her with a vibe, eat her out, or even have her suck your cock. Although eating out the star on a virtual sex DVD never seems to do anything for me other than make me laugh, it’s actually handled very well here, and works better than any other interactive DVD I’ve seen. Finally, there’s the main event, which Kylie lays in white stockings on a flowery bed for. You can fuck Kylie missionary style either vaginally or anally. She’ll let you fuck her doggie style, or ride you in the standard or reverse cowgirl positions. She’ll even let you fuck her ass reverse cowgirl style if you want. I should note, though, that this isn’t the typical reverse cowgirl you’re used to. Instead it’s the cowgirl position with Kylie leaning back towards “your” feet. This is more a matter of semantics than anything, as I think it works better than the traditional reverse cowgirl would.

Kylie handles the entire thing extremely well. She plays nicely to the camera, and does it in a way that seems perfect for this feature. She focuses on the camera, but never seems to stare into it as if she’s trying to see if she has a hair out of place or not. Instead, she feels like she’s focusing directly on you with her entire concentration with the smile and her shining eyes frequently appearing. Kylie’s talent is a big part of what makes this DVD work so well.

As usual with the My Plaything series, you can choose between having Kylie be naughty and intense or nice and innocent. Unlike some starlets, Kylie’s able to separate the two moods almost completely. In her Nice mood, she’s soft, innocent and playful throughout almost all the scenes. She playfully wonders whether she can take you into her ass, comments on the size of the toys, or shyly asks if she can fuck you more. In her Naughty mood, she often tells you what you’re going to do (after you tell her of course), trash talks, and demands you give her more. The Naughty and Nice selector has been one of the things I’ve always liked about the My Plaything series, and Kylie shows just why it works so well here.

The segments themselves are all handled very well, and are all available in two different viewing angles. Normally you have a choice between a close-up and a distance shot, but that isn’t always true. Sometimes you get a different distance shot, and sometimes the camera pans around Kylie’s body. For those of you worried about this during the sex portions, you always have a choice between a close-up and a distance shot during the sex sequences.

Each main segment lasts between two and three minutes, with the large majority of them around two and a quarter minutes, and the orgasms normally ending up between about thirty and fifty seconds. When a segment ends, it jumps back to the middle of the action. This was always my biggest complaint about interactive DVDs. Just when the action gets going good at the end of a loop sequence, it would go back to the beginning. Not here. When the loop of Kylie’s ass riding “your” cock ends, it goes back to the middle of the scene so the action feels like it’s continuing without stopping.

Each segment has its own unique orgasm sequence, rather than having all the sex sequences share a sequence or having the naughty and nice moods sharing a sequence. Sadly, only one of the sequences is a real pop shot, but the fake pop shots look as good as I’ve ever seen them. I actually had to go back and check a couple of them to see if they’re real or not. Although I’m disappointed at having fake pop shots, I can’t be that disappointed with how well they’re done.

My Plaything: Kylie Ireland is easily one of the best interactive sex simulators I’ve seen. Much of the credit here goes to Kylie Ireland, as she has to carry the entire movie basically on her own. She plays both naughty and nice extremely well, and does the entire DVD with an obvious enjoyment that completely held my attention through the entire DVD. The rest of the credit goes to the team at Digital Sin that put this together. They’ve eliminated almost all of the technical problems that have plagued this type of feature right from the start. The loops work well, returning to the middle of the loop where the action is rather than going back to the very start, and each segment has a decent orgasm that’s unique to the specific segment. Unfortunately the pop shots remain a bit of a problem, as they’re not all real here, but they do look very good for being computer generated. My Plaything: Kylie Ireland is a must have for all fans of Kylie Ireland and fans of interactive sex DVDs.

The main extra, however, is Kylie’s three minute striptease. She descends a helical staircase in a fancy gown before revealing herself slowly and playing with herself lightly. There’s no audio here and it feels slightly Andrew Blake-ish with soft video and the music being the only audio. It’s an okay tease, but feels more like a tease to a tease.

Overall: Currently, most of the My Plaything series can be found online for between $23 and $30 with most stores offering it near the upper end. If you’re a fan of Kylie Ireland or interactive sex simulators, this is a must have DVD. Kylie does a great job leading the entire feature, and gives the different moods nicely different feels. There isn’t too much for extras, but the transfer is extremely well done.

Note to Digital Sin: A couple more extras would have been great here, such as an interview with Kylie or a behind the scenes featurette. For the feature itself, however, you’ve done a great job! It if you’d make it possible to see whether the feature is in the naughty or nice mode. Not all performers have handled it as well as Kylie does here. Of course, real pop shots would also be great.
