Synopsis:
This disc is one of many of Private's sampler discs which allow consumers to preview the content contained on Private's DVDs offering previews and sample scenes but contains no feature film.

Audio/Video:
The scenes contained on the disc are presented with dubbed English 2.0 Stereo tracks. The tracks are not all original audio tracks as The Private Gladiator's original audio track is a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround track. The dialog is clear throughout all of the scenes and easy to hear. Private hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options on the disc.

The scenes present on the disc are presented in the same aspect ratio as they are presented on DVD. Both The Private Gladiator and Sex Survivors are presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1 and Perfect is presented in the non-anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The picture quality of the scenes is excellent with a crisp crystal clear image with no visible artifacts, blemishes or glitches present. The color levels are perfectly set for natural looking flesh tones.

Special Features:
As the disc is essentially only extras, the disc is packed with them. Of most importance, considering the reason for this disc, are the 24 previews contained on the disc for various recent Private films. There is also disc information for many of Private's recent films, too many to count, with box pictures, cast listings, disc specs, etc. There are also three bonus sex scenes contained on the disc to give the viewer a flavor of Private's films.

DVD-ROM Special Features:
This disc has the standard Private DVD-ROM extras included. There is the internet activated DVD Catalog, which gives a listing of Private's DVDs available along with disc information and screen shots for some titles. There is also the PC Bonus, which is nine different Private movie theme wall paper for your Windows PC.

Navigation:
The navigation through the disc is great, allowing you to choose from the main menu to view various lines from Private as well as the trailers and scene selections. As there is no feature film on the disc there are no chapter selections available on the disc.

General Review:
The Private sampler disc line has always been great for viewers who are interested in purchasing a Private film to allow them to sample their wares before dropping down large money on one of their releases. Although not as inclusive as the earlier sampler discs back when Private was first starting distribution in North America, this one does provide the consumer with information on the more recent Private films.

The disc also provides the viewer with 36 minutes of sex scenes. The scenes seem to be presented in their entirety. Viewers may find one of the scenes to be very disappointing as it only features female masturbation, so if this doesn't interest them they will only have 24 minutes of sexual enjoyment available on the disc. The sexual themes in the film are oral, vaginal and anal sex with DP, titty fucking and female masturbation. For viewers who care about condom usage, there are no condoms featured in any of the scenes.

The Scenes:
The first scene, from Sex Survivors, is twelve minutes long and features Aliza, Joakim and Philippe Dean. The scene takes place on the beach and starts out with Aliza giving Joakim and Philippe blow jobs. The action then turns to a vaginal sex/blow job combo before switching over to just vaginal sex. The scene then moves into the anal sex before Aliza jerks off one of the males and the other jerks himself off.

The second scene, from The Private Gladiator, is twelve minutes long and features Toni Ribas and Rita Faltoyano. The scene starts with Toni giving Rita's pussy some attention before they go into the vaginal sex. After the vaginal sex we are treated to some nasty anal sex before she titty fucks him to climax.

The third scene, from Perfect, is twelve minutes long and features two unknown females. The scene is surrealistic with one female clad in black and the other in white. After showing off the two females' bodies the scene only features both of them masturbating.

Parting Thoughts:
Although not as good as the first DVD Sampler releases, Private Presents DVD Sampler 6 is still a good way to viewers new to Private's films to sample their wares cheaply to decide if they want to purchase one of their films. A decent buy as long as you don't pay very much for it as there are only 36 minutes of hardcore footage on the disc.
