Review brief: Revenge, loneliness, and jealousy thread together Kayden Kross'' second, socially-relevant season of last year''s blockbuster, "Muse". A Maitland Ward vehicle, this outstanding release from Deeper.com finds the adult and mainstream superstar reprising her role as a controversial professor and documentarian, this time, however, in a far more precarious position than the last, with her career and public persona hanging in the balance.

Review brief: Broken glass, broken vows, and broken souls litter the tattered life-path of a young psychologist, Gianna Dior, as she finds herself unable (and certainly unwilling) to control her overwhelming sexual impulses. Driven in part by an automobile accident that was caused by her infidelity and that led to her own head trauma and her boyfriend''s demise, Dior has--several years later--become a full-tilt, heartless, carnal predator. And, at least on the surface, she''s fine with that. Or is she? So goes "Psychosexual", a hard-hitting mind-bender of a release from the artiste-supreme, Kayden Kross, that serves as yet another clear homerun in the director''s storied and dominating repertoire.

Review brief: Absolutely smoking is probably the best way to describe John Leslie''s "Goin'' Down Slow", an exceptional 1988 release from the actor/director and VCA. Sure, it has a plot--a pretty good one, in fact, involving a nosey, peeping neighbor (Ona Zee), a letter to an adult magazine columnist (Robert Bullock), cheating all around, and even murder and betrayal--but the storyline just can''t help but seem secondary to the blazing hot sex that abounds. Indeed, rife with tension, intensely erotic setups, and stunning beauties, the action in this one truly hits the mark in just about every spot.

Review brief: While held in disdain as a selectively-edited hatchet job against the adult film industry by some insiders, 1985''s "Fallen Angels" nevertheless provides an interesting, contemporaneous behind-the-scenes look at the skin flick world of the mid-1980''s. Re-released digitally by Alpha Blue Archives and streaming on AdultEmpire.com''s Unlimited service, this film largely focuses upon a trio of porn starlets new to the industry (Kristara Barrington, Lisa Lake, and a short-termer named Kim), interviewing them (and, where applicable, their boyfriends) at various points over a several month period.

Directed by: Jim Holliday
Review brief: Far less gritty and far more cheesecake than John Leslie''s 1987 original, "Nightshift Nurses 2" from director Jim Holliday and VCA is nonetheless still smoking hot. Shot nearly a decade after the original, Holliday offers up his own take on Leslie''s seminal vision, extending it and adding into the mix his own personal touches. Indeed, all of the hallmarks of a mid-90s Jim Holliday production are present: a massive cast of who''s who in the adult industry of the era, a never-ending cascade of female flesh on full display, and a lighthearted approach that rubs off on the production''s sex scenes, as well as driving its storyline.

Review brief: Rule #1 at the Burton Allen Institute is "No bras and no panties" and boy do the lovely ladies who make up its student body take it seriously in "Car Wash Angels". A very good, 1996 release from director Jim Holliday and VCA, this flick features a massive cast that''s a veritable who''s who in the industry of its era...all partaking in the Carwash Management program of the school''s hokey curriculum. Full of multiple short sex scenes and some longer ones (including an all-girl orgy), this production falls into line with other such offerings from the director during the time-frame. Indeed, Holliday was a master of the big-cast, super-cheesy, bimbo-driven blowout in the mid-90''s, and on this premise, this one certainly does not disappoint.

Review brief: They always say that the crazy ones are the most fun, and this is no doubt the case for Tori Welles, who plays the part of a woman with multiple personalities...all but one of which is a total sex fiend. Indeed, Welles'' character transforms from one identity (and outward appearance) to another, as she compulsively fucks her way through what seems like half the town...apparently enjoying every minute of it. Review brief: The year is 1990, and in Beverly Hills, first-class beaver is Ashlyn Gere''s business...and business is booming. Of course, running a high-end escort service for the elite and the wealthy comes with certain unique risks and eventualities, a fact of which Ashlyn is keenly aware. Of course, stuck in the middle of it all is a troubled priest-turned-detective, Nick Manning, who''s lost both his family and his faith, but who may yet find purpose in his life. Review brief: Hot, raw, and gritty, director Greg Dark delivers the dirty deeds in "New Wave Hookers 3", the third of its fabled line. An exceptional 1993 release from VCA and the master auteur, this flick offers up the finest of filth and fornication in true Dark style. Of course, complicating matters, Marc already has a star dancer out that way in the form of Asia Carrera, and it doesn''t help that Dyanna''s wandering-eyed videographer boyfriend, Colt Steel, tags along, as well. Review brief: From its catchy opening score, cleverly-cut credits, and nostalgic shots of old-school New York City, it''s clear that the audience is in for a fun and sexy treat with "Spitfire", an exceptional 1984 release from director Cecil Howard and Command Video. Reproduced beautifully at Hotmovies.com, this production is in many ways pornographic poetry in motion from start to finish. Exquisitely captured and edited, this film is centered around a corrupt professor-turned-politician (R. Bolla) whose "chastity belt" agenda has caught on nationally and is bringing in millions. Of course, he''s actually a perv and a fraud, his daughter (Tigr) is an insatiable nymphomaniac, and his wife (Samantha Fox) is a gold digger in every sense of the word. Needless to say, the storyline is intricate, well-crafted and comical, the acting is superb throughout, and the end result is a true Golden Age classic that should not be missed.
