Review brief: 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is an excellent limited edition Blu-ray collection of five classic adult films. The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. None of the films on this release have ever looked better on home video and 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is definitely worth picking up before it is sold out.

Review brief: The Love Slaves is an excellent roughie that was made by renown adult filmmaker Bob Chinn. The Love Slaves features a well-done story, great acting, and some excellent sex scenes. Fans of the genre will want to seek this film out. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their release with a beautiful image and good audio with a few extras.

Review brief: Prisoner of Paradise isn't the most plot motivated adult feature film out there but it isn't a bad feature by any means. The plot is thin and the acting for some of the cast is sketchy but the sex scenes aren't bad. Prisoner of Paradise is nicely shot. Vinegar Syndrome has done a nice job with the transfer but has only included one extra on the release.

Blone Fire isn't the greatest film in the series and I wish that the series had a stronger film to end with. That aside, the film is enjoyable and has a decent plot and some enjoyable sex scenes. I-Candy's transfer for the film is disappointing.

Review brief: Although Taxi Girls has several elements going for it, the end result is less than perfect. Viewers that hate a porn with their plot, like one on one sex scenes or hate the style of earlier sex scenes will want to avoid this film. Viewers that like porn with a plot and don't have a problem with coercion might want to give this film a chance.

Review brief: Sporting a beautiful remastered print, this film is heartily recommended to viewers who like porn with a plot, viewers who like adult films with a nurse theme and viewers who love the classics. Although I am not a fan of fisting myself, it is still too bad that the cut footage was not reinserted into the film, however it's presence elsewhere on the disc should satisfy viewers wishing to see these scenes. Viewers who don't like porn with a plot, require nasty sex or can't stand a hairy woman should avoid this film. This disc is a great example of how good a classic release can be.

Review brief: After a poor first half, Dangerous Obession picks up and ends up with a very decent second half. Due to the plot problems I have trouble recommending this film to anyone. If you are patient and are willing to watch this film twice it will be worth your time. Don't be fooled by the limited edition tag on the case and feel like you have to pick it up fast. There are few special features on the disk, nothing to justify calling it a limited edition and probably on the regular edition, when released, the only change will be a shortened behind the scenes feature. I definitely don't recommend this film to anyone who doesn't like plot based adult entertainment. New Era has done a good job with their Limited Edition DVD release of Dangerous Obsession.

Review brief: Although Daughters of the Dragon is a very good movie, it is not for everyone. I would definitely not recommend this movie for those who dislike plots and movies that have long amounts of time between sex scenes. I do recommend this film for those who enjoy the works of Bob Chinn and films from the golden age of adult films. Although this film isnt as good as Chinns earlier work, and pales in comparison to most of the plot driven adult entertainment from the golden age, it stands out from many of the films made today. New Era has done a good job with their DVD release of Daughters of the Dragon.
