Synopsis:
The wife of an oil millionaire hires Peter Magnum to find her stepdaughter, who has been missing, whose father has just recently passed on and left her a sizeable inheritance.

Video/Audio:
Blonde Fury is presented in a full frame, 1.33:1, aspect ratio. The film looks like it was shot on video and not on film. This presentation of the film is in good shape. There are no noticeable picture blemishes, artifacts or compression problems present. The picture is clear and sharp and the colors are vibrant.

The available audio track is an English 2.0 Stereo track. The audio is clear and easy to hear except for some areas of the film. They appear to be errors during the filming and not due to the transfer. There are no other language selections available and there are no subtitle options available. From the sound of the audio, the dialog is in mono and only the music is presented in stereo. The music doesn't interfere with the dialog during the film.

Special Features:
There are eight chapters available for Blonde Fury, one for every sex scene. They make the finding the scenes easy for those uninterested in the rest of the movie. The available trailers are for Jade Goddess, Naked Angels, Blonde Fury and Daughters of the Dragon. Main Menus Translated into Five Languages is exactly what it states, the menus are translated only, the film still plays with the English language track.

Like the other New Era disk that I have seen, this disk doesn't have much for special features on it, however most of them relate to the movie which is better than many features that have nothing to do with the film. Also, like the other disk, there is a preview for the feature film on the disk. A nice addition.

Review:
Writer/director Bob Chinn has brought us another Peter Magnum film but this one is not part of the Jade Goddess series. Unfortunately this film quickly becomes your standard adult fare with several problems. The plot line for the film is very thin but also very followable. The last scene in the film makes no sense plot wise and seems stuck in to add time. It was a nice threeway but the plot lead up should have been scripted better.

The music used sounds more like the music used in daytime soap operas than adult film music and is a nice change. In most scenes the audio is clear and easy to hear. In a few places however, it is muffled and it is much harder to hear what is being said. Most notably the scene in Jim South's office where it sounds like the mikes were very poorly placed.

The worst part of the film was the scene changes. They were done with unnecessary picture twists with sorely out of place sound f/x. Like most of Bob Chinn's films, this film was beautifully photographed. The sets are average with nothing extraordinary about them, yet nothing wrong with them either.

Of the New Era Bob Chinn films that I have seen, this one features the worst acting. The acting here is standard adult fare, but not so horrible that it removes enjoyment from the film. Most of the cast's parts are small so the limited acting ability isn't as bad as it could be if all the parts were large. As I have said in the past, and is true here again, Lee Stone has no acting ability for a plot based adult film. His acting is wooden and monotone. Unfortunately Bob Chinn is stuck with him for the Peter Magnum series since he portrays Peter Magnum.

Fans of no condom use will be happy with some of the scenes in the film. Some of the scenes have condoms and others don't. Since some of the scenes do feature condoms, I suggest that those not looking for condoms only purchase the film if it sounds interesting to them as well.

The sex scenes are rather formulaic with all of them except one being one male to one female. The one remaining scene is a nice lesbian scene. There isn't much variety in what goes on during most of the sex scenes either.

The Money Shot:
Overall, Blonde Fury is a decent plot-based film. If you don't go into this film expecting much, you won't be disappointed. For fans of plot based adult entertainment. Worth picking up if you can find it for less than $16.00.
