Music: What there is seems pretty average. There are quite a few parts without any music. It seems to be pretty random. Initial Expectations: I expected this to be a pretty average porno. I didn't expect it to have much of a plot, more of a theme. Initial Reaction: If this is how they were wanting Jim Gunn to make movies, I see why he went on his own. Review: 'Sexy Carwash Girls' is one of those movies that I didn't expect much, but had some hopes for. Unfortunately, it didn't even meet my expectations.

There are several times when Nina talks to one of her 'class' and you cannot here the other person clearly. There are even times when you cannot clearly hear Nina when she's lecturing. Review: What I wouldn't give to have had just one college professor that looked like Nina Hartley! Not only does she look better than all of my college professors, she lectures better than many of them also. Nina's Advanced Guide to Oral Sex is broke down into three sections: anatomy, practice, and fantasy scene. The anatomy is pretty basic, but provides a good understanding of the technical terms she uses. She also keeps it very short (around five to ten minutes). The best thing about the entire anatomy lesson was the vaginal puppet she had. It was all I could do to stay in my chair .

I suppose it stands to reason that if a company goes as far as to have Dolby Surround sound, they're going to pay attention to it so that it's good. As always, there are a couple small problems, but nothing that interfered with my enjoyment of the film. One scene showed some obvious dubbing. Video Quality: Above average. Most of the film is very clear, however there are a couple spots that are a little grainy but that's it. Music: Composed by Saint.

Initial Expectations: Nineteen College Girls #28 was a lot better than what I would have expected it to be, so I was expecting another really fun porno with really good looking young girls and not much plot. Initial Reaction: Slight disappointment. Review: Perhaps my expectations were raised too high for 'Nineteen College Girls Vol. 25' after watching 'Nineteen College Girls Vol. 28' a few weeks ago. Initial Expectations: A brainless movie with good sex. Initial Reaction: If there was any less plot, it'd be a compilation movie. At least the sex was really good. Review: With both Celeste and Kylie Ireland in 'Sexy Nurses 2', I knew I had to watch it. Like most of Celeste's movies that I've seen, there isn't much plot, but the sex makes up for it. 'Sexy Nurses 2' revolves around Woody Long and his attempt to get money from rich guys who are close to dying.

The music blends extremely well with most of the movie so that it isn't even really noticeable. The places when I thought to pay attention to the music it fit perfectly. Initial Expectations: I've heard that this is a great couples film. I think that Asia is one of the best adult actresses out there right now, but Adam & Eve hasn't had many high quality DVDs out there.

During the lead ins, however, Missy's voice is so soft and quiet that I could barely understand anything she said. Video Quality: With the exception of the first scene, the picture is very clear with little sign of any pixelation. The first scene has several sequences that look like they were recorded on a poor digital camcorder. The pixelation is awful! The quality reminded me of still pictures taken with a bad digital camera. Music: Very good. It matched the many moods of the various scenes. Initial Expectations: Item #1 - Wicked has some of the highest quality DVDs out there.

The music starts good, but when things start to get hot, it switches to a hard jazz that immediately made me wonder "What the hell is this?" Initial Expectations: I had fairly high hopes for Miss Jackie. I enjoy the borderline mainstream / fetish movies (such as Vivid's 'Extreme Sex' series) as they can nicely break some of the monotony of many mainstream adult films.

Once again, nothing special, but everything syncs well with the video. Extras: Photo Gallery, Bios of the stars, 'multiple angles', trailers, and web link. There are an amazing number of trailers included and there are cast bios on almost every person in the movie. The 'multiple angles' is the typical Vivid style where they take you to another point in the scene rather than a different angle. In a few cases, you did switch to a different point of view, but not often.

We soon find out that they are only interested in two things: blowing everything up and lots of anal sex. A handful of humans try to stop them and rescue heir human prisoners at Area 69. The Sex: The sex is pretty average. Nici Sterling's scene is by far the worst scene in the movie.

The idea of an interactive adult DVD, just doesn't appeal to me that much, so I guess I expected to have 'a pretty good DVD, for an interactive DVD, but they just aren't for me.'. To put it short, I expected pretty good but I hated it. Review: Man, was I wrong. Chasing Stacy is amazing! Since the case said 'Over 3 hours', I planned on splitting this DVD over a couple nights, however as soon as I started I couldn't stop. The Plots: The Adventures of Young Jim Powers 2: Jim Powers relates his second porno shoot (he would have done his first, but that involved his old sister, so that was out). The male talent was mouthing off, so Jim fired him and then had to take his place when none of the middle aged, overweight guys on the crew would take the place of the male talent. The Computer: Robbie needs a computer for work, but his father won't buy him one. On his way to try to find a job he finds a computer laying in the garbage.

There are some very different scenes in Taboo 18 that seem like they would be very difficult to film and the transfer does justice to the camera work. The audio syncs quite well to the video and also does justice to a job that does not appear to easy to do. The Plot: Tony Tedeschi plays a mortician who's wife (Chloe) has died in a car accident. A friend of hers (Missy) comes to pay her respects and takes her shoes with her. Tony follows her home and is drawn into a web of taboo fetishes that occur around Missy's house, gradually learning that the wife he thought was so innocent was at the center of it all. Review: I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I started watching Taboo 18.

The Review: Centerspread Girls kind of reminds me of my youth. It revolves around MOM trying to stop porn (or at least not let me have it). In this case, MOM is Morality Over Madness, a moral majority group which has been trying to shut down Panther magazine for years.

The Plot: Jenna Jameson plays Fawn Deering, a college student researching animal mythology and human sexuality. This leads her to Dr. Jade (Asia Carrera) for an interview. While there, she meets Adam (Brad Armstrong) and is drawn to him. Sophie the maid (Missy) warns her to leave Jade Manor and never look back, but Fawn cannot resist Adam's invitation to return that weekend to observe a bacchanal.

Review: Vortex is one of the few adult films which raises your expectations throughout the first five minutes, and then meets them throughout the rest of the film. From the box cover I was expecting a 'Quantum Leap' spoof, although Vortex is more of a parallel of it. Similar to Quantum Leap, Juli Ashton plays a scientist experimenting with psychic time travel. Apparently our bodies can't be transported through time, but our minds can be (although the bodies seem to disappear). Mike Horner is a rival scientist on the project who believes that everything is ready to go and that Juli is dragging the project out too long.

A few spots are missing music, so all you hear is the wind. Then, when they decide to have music, it often overpowers the rest of the audio. The video quality would be okay, but I think lot of the camera work was done by somebody who probably isn't even old enough to watch the movie. The Plot (or at least as close as I could come to one): Sandi and Steven camping in the desert and meet a friend or two while there. A mysterious woman appears to all of them at some point. The Review: I really wish that Kylie wasn't in this movie, because if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have watched it. The Layne Parker films I have seen are normally a lot better than this.

The movie was made in 1994, and is not grainy. The sound matches the video very well. The sex scene camera work is also quite good. There aren't an over abundance of beaver - cam shots, and the sex scenes are normally quite well filmed. The other camera work is average at best, but I'll get into that later. The Plot: Not much. Review: "I hate you Jack, but I can hate you in the bedroom" Missy tells Steve Drake late in the movie. That's kind of how the entire movie goes. Steve Drake plays Jack, a guy who is only concerned with sex. Apparently that's what made him have to leave town. We start with Jack returning to town on a freight train and calling Missy for a ride. I started disliking the movie about half way through the car ride home.

The picture is very clear and the audio matches it throughout the movie. There was only one spot where I didn't think the audio quite matched the video. The Rest: I had some fairly high hopes when I first watched 'Voices In My Bed'. Ashlyn Gere has always been one of my favorite adult film stars, and I'm hoping she makes a comeback soon. My hopes rose a little when I saw that she wrote the script for Voices. Within the first 5 seconds after the opening credits, my hopes started to pay off. The camera work was excellent from the start, switching between color and black and white shots with some chains hanging down rattling.

A few short biographies, interactive sex, and a few previews. Audio / Video Quality: The video quality is better than average. The picture is quite clear, and there weren't any spots where I thought it was grainy. The audio is a little below average. In a few parts the sound echoes slightly, however the main problem is the audio level. Normally on my TV I have the volume in the low 20s. For Night Nurses, I had to turn it up to almost 40 to try and hear anything. At least the audio track matched the video well. The Rest: "We all want our patients to leave here happy, happy, happy." Nina Hartley says at one point. That shouldn't be a problem with the treatments patients get at this hospital.

Review brief: Running Time: 1:23 Extras: None. This was a big disappointment. With how much of a classic the original Debbie is, it really deserved a commentary at the very least. Audio / Video: This was the main fault with the DVD of Debbie Does Dallas. The video is pretty consistent with most video form the 70s. Considering how old the movie is, they probably did a pretty good job restoring it. The audio, however, is horrible. Most of the movie sounds like it was recorded in the shower. Actually, some of it was, but I had hoped that the restoration would have done a little better job with the rest of it. The rest: This is one of those adult films that although not perfect, everybody should have a copy of. I remember sneaking my parent's copy of Debbie away to watch when I was a teenager. It was a right of passage at that time for almost every teenage boy, and I hate to deny my children that right someday! There's a reason Debbie has stayed around so long and is still thought of so highly, despite the audio and video quality.

Slightly grainy, but not bad. Very typical video quality. The audio, however doesn't seem to quite match up with the video. Born Bad seems to have the typical audio quality of the stereotypical porno (not adult film). The rest: This is one of those pornos that falls into the stereotype everybody has of adult films. The plot is almost nonexistent (Jenteal is a girl who will do anything to get what she wants), and you know that anytime two people are shown in the same scene, as soon as they look at each other, they're going to have to fuck. Jenteal does a pretty good job acting in Born Bad. If she ever gets out of adult films and dancing, she should be able to get a job on almost any soap opera after this movie. It mimics the daytime soaps so much that I started laughing several times.

Sultry Kylie Ireland plays a primadonna porn star who won't do an anal scene. Borrowing liberally from Charles Dickens, Jim Holliday introduces three ghosts to convince Kylie that butt-banging is the super chick thing to do on the big blue screen. In the process, we're privy to a whole mess of anal action as only Le Holliday can deliver. The ghosts influence Kylie to the extent that a happy ending is enjoyed by all. If you catch the drift. The rest:I had really high hopes for this film. Kylie is one of my favorite actresses, and rarely does anal, and Jim Holliday normally does a very enjoyable adult film.
