Eternity is one of the more ambitious porn flicks you may ever see. Wicked spared very little expense in making this epic period piece. This flick is definitely couples material, assuming the couple has 2 ½ hours to kill. Personally, Ive never seen porn with this much storyline, so many cast members (tons of extras), tremendous costumes (most of it is set in Victorian times), a dancing horse (no kidding), a pistol duel, a sword fight, and the torching of a house. Stormy Daniels is the star, and she opens the story on her wedding day. As she makes the final adjustments on her gown, her mother, Veronica Hart, gives her a locket and starts telling the tale of the generations-old necklace and what it symbolizes. Back we go in time towell, Im not going to give you all the plotlines. Suffice to say Stormy plays her great-grandmother (a peasant) during the flashback. Randy Spears is the evil land baron shes forced to marry. I have no doubt Spears could have made it as an actor in legitimate Hollywood films had he not chosen the jizz biz. Acid Dreams Directed by Michael Ninn Overall Impression This is Ninn's second live action feature film for Private. It has the burden of some relatively high expectations considering the success of "Perfect". "Acid Dreams" is not perfect if you'll excuse the pun. It has some very strong scenes, but is a very uneven film. I'm generally a huge Ninn fan as well usually impressed with so called "artsy porn". Unfortunately Ninn lost me with his constantly skewed yellow color pallet and effects that failed to compliment the sexual action. This disc does manage to produce a few quality scenes and a great find in Mercedes. Plot "San Fransisco 1965 and the CIA is using brain bending techniques to test the psychosexual extremes of their subjects. Mind control is the name of the game, and mind blowing chicks are the bait. Set against the background of the cold war, Washington is going all out to win the race for mind control supremacy. [read the full review]

European pornographic powerhouse Private being one of my favorite and most dependable studios and Michael Ninn being among my favorite directors I hoped their coming together might mean a marriage of all the best things American porn and European porn had to offer. Ok so my expectations were a little unrealistic. Perfect is an extremely good film, but not a great film. I was happy to see that Ninn had decided to go with widescreen. There are some phenomenal visuals and some classic Ninn sex scenes, but there are also some scenes that are way too short and unfocused. The cast is populated by a ton of veterans and rising stars, unfortunately we don't get to spend enough time with everyone. As many of Michael's critics often point out, he has a tendency to go for style over substance. While pople who have never seen a Michael Ninn film before will be favorably be impressed by Perfect, fans of Ninn may feel let down. At least I did. The new technology has not been used imaginatively. The overall look of the film is far superior to most porn, but it is not up to the standard set in the best porno of all time, Ninn's Shock, and his other geat, Dark Garden (and even Ninn's somewhat bizarre, David Lynch meets porn, Ritual or the more playful and very hot Cashmere). Ninn has basically trademarked himself, using the same kind of music, for example, and visual look. The plot is basically non-existent, with a few, repeated voice overs that sound bloated. The cinematography is good, but not as good as Shock or Dark Garden, and the talent, while good enough, just isn't as good as the babes of the earlier films, in my view. Even the sex is less adventurous, confined for the most part to women on women (they're very beautiful, but what happened to all those amazing Euro babes like Vicca and Lea Martini?).
