The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I’ve had very mixed results from this series, and the last few have been sliding a little. The only thing that gives me some hope here is the female cast Skye has lined up here.

Initial Reaction: It’s a by the book lesbian movie that doesn’t seem like it belongs in the Lusty Busty Dolls series.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for a straightforward lesbian movie.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the creativity that’s central to every other episode of this series.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects might be the best I’ve seen from a Bizarre title. The audio is clear and well balanced, and had very few background noises. The video was excellent! There’s barely any grain and it’s very nicely lit.

Music: The music is typical porno music. Unlike the rest of this series, which basically blasted the music at you, it’s very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The menus are nicely done. The main menu is very appealing and shows some nice care. The chapter menu is fairly average, but shows you a large clip of each scene to let you choose.

The Feature

The Lusty Busty Dolls series goes with a simple idea, busty women. Skye Blue normally mixes lesbian scenes and masturbation scenes, and works a good tease and plenty of art direction into each scene. This time there’s a little plot to start things off, and the artistic camera work and masturbation scenes are left behind.

Scene 1 - Farrah and Shay Sights

Shay starts things out talking to Farrah, who’s been rather freakishly tattooed, about her lawn before they decide that they’d like to work on each other’s mounds. Shay moves after Farrah’s pierced nipples first before taking a short break to strip down and give Farrah a little sample of what she’s going to get. Shay moves on to tongue and finger Farrah, as well as to work on her with a dildo. Farrah returns the toy treat after Shay rides her big fat titties before the scene fades out looking like they were still going at it.

This is a pretty good scene that would have been a lot better with a little tighter editing. As is it runs roughly twenty five minutes, and there just aren’t enough things going on to keep it interesting for that long! The girls are into each other okay, but the camera work also seemed pretty average. All in all, this struck me as an average scene which could have been very good.

Scene 2 - Carolyn Monroe and Taylor Wayne

Carolyn brings new neighbor Taylor a gift basket when Taylor moves into the neighborhood. Taylor enjoys it, especially the dildo and vibrator Carolyn included. They kiss and strip each other down before Carolyn kisses her way around Taylor’s ass cheek while rubbing her pussy. Carolyn moves on to drive her tongue into Taylor’s ass as well as rubbing her big fat titties over it before letting Taylor reciprocate. Taylor eats both of Carolyn’s holes before fucking her with a dildo, and then turns around for Carolyn to fuck her with a toy as well. They finish things up with Carolyn cuddling against Taylor’s ass.

This is an okay scene. The plot sequence is nice and fun, but the sex was okay. I think the main reason the sex didn’t completely work for me was because of the editing style. It had very long cuts that went from gyno-cam shots to extreme distance shots, and even in the medium shots I wanted the camera adjusted a little. Also, although Carolyn looked absolutely smoking here, Taylor didn’t do much of anything for me.

Scene 3 - Nicole Sheridan and Devin Michaels

While washing dishes, Nicole and Devin have a little too much fun with the soap suds. They start spreading them over each other’s boobs to the point that they have to get undressed. They keep playing with the bubbles before heading over to the table for some dirty fun. They work each other over orally before Nicole breaks out the toy she picked up while shopping and slides it into Devin’s pussy after teasing her ass. Nicole gets a little toy time as well before they finish things with a kiss and talk about finishing the dishes.

This is another fairly average scene. The girls seem to be into each other fairly well, but I just couldn’t get into it. Maybe the scene was drawn out to long or maybe it was that it felt like so many other girl - girl scenes. Regardless, I couldn’t fund anything special about this scene, and more than anything, it felt pretty much like the scene just before it.

Scene 4 - Cailey Taylor and TJ

Cailey Taylor and TJ celebrate owning their own home together by breaking in a room. TJ moves down to mouth Cailey’s muff as soon as they get their clothes off. They keep the oral loving going a bit until TJ breaks out a purple strap-on and fucks Cailey with it. Cailey returns the oral love and a little toy play before the scene cuts out looking like there was still a bit to go.

This is another scene I just couldn’t get into. Once again, I had the feeling like I was just watching another scene that I’d finished moments before. The girls get into it nicely, but everything just seems so by the book that I couldn’t find much interesting about it.

Lusty Busty Dolls 8 is a dud. I shouldn’t say that, because it is an okay all girl feature. The girls work each other over with toys, tongues, and fingers just like they do in most of the other all girl features. Therein is the biggest problem with the feature. The rest of the Lusty Busty Dolls series set itself apart from the normal all girl feature by bringing in a ton of creativity. The scenes didn’t always work for me, but I could almost always appreciate the scenes on some level. Here that’s thrown aside completely. If the Lusty Busty Dolls series was a little specialty shop in the back alley before, now it’s the clearance aisle in the local Mal-Wart. The scenes are long and drawn out, which I guess is supposed to make you feel like you’re getting more, but instead the scenes just felt fat. This episode is roughly ten minutes longer than most of the others in the series, and I can’t help but feel that if it were trimmed back that ten minutes that the movie would have been much better. In the end, Lusty Busty Dolls 8 just feels soulless.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Bizarre Video DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $28 with most stores offering them for over $20. Rent this one first as I think it’s going to be pretty hit or miss, as it’s a very straightforward lesbian movie. The technical aspects are very nicely done, but there isn’t anything worth mentioning for extras.

Note to Bizarre Video: A few more chapter breaks and an extra or two would have made this a much better overall DVD. It is really nice to see how far you’ve come along with your technical aspects! I hope your DVDs keep improving like this one shows you can!
