Culled from those old VHS tapes of the late 80s early 90s (that's my guess) we have an conglomeration of Peter North scenes lifted out of various movies....13 scenes in fact. I doubt they were really "lost" but rescued from oblivion off of those old movies is probably a better description. The woman often have huge hair and lots of hairspray. Peter even has what looks like a perm in one scene. That crappy music that pervaded porn back then is heard throughout the scenes. "Wacky World of X-Rated Bloopers", an overall-decent, 1989 release from Gourmet Video and narrated by Kimberly Carson, is exactly as its name would imply--a collection of bloopers and behind the scenes material from a number of 1980's releases. Funny moments, true missteps, wood issues, and micromanaging directors are all highlighted. A number of stars from the era make appearances, some more so than others, and the release does provide a nice look at life on a porn set from a time period when BTS material really wasn't mass-produced and readily available. While it's not so much a production to get off to, it's certainly interesting and reasonably worth a watch. [read the full review]
