Eyes Of a Dreamer Review

Review:
Overcome by intense sexual fantasies and dreams, the frizzy-haired, well-toned brunette, Buffy Mast, finds that her inability to control her thoughts and desires (...or to even stay awake, for that matter...) are beginning to impinge upon not only her daily life, but also her marriage...or so it seems. Such is the case in "Eyes of a Dreamer", an overall-good, 1983 release from VCX and director Richard Mailer. Featuring a true surprise of a twist ending that will leave the viewer at least somewhat scratching his (or her) head, this bizarre film leads the audience in one direction throughout and then, right at the end, flips the tables completely. While certainly a clever idea, its successful execution is at least a bit questionable, if not thought-provoking. Regardless, the storyline is solid enough to frame the sex well, which is generally fairly hot, and to maintain the viewer's attention. Buffy Mast--a one-hit wonder--also looks good and performs well throughout, as does the remainder of the largely anonymous female cast. As such, fans of the Golden Age might find something worthwhile in renting this one or checking it out as a part of an unlimited service.

In terms of the sex, Scene One kicks off the flick with the sexy brunette, Buffy Mast, oiled up and wearing nothing more than a necklace and a waist chain, as she massages herself in front of a black backdrop. In Scene Two, Buffy finds herself in the same setting as in the prior sequence, but this time wearing a black bra and panties set. The black-clad Roy Stuart makes his entrance, and it isn't long before his dick is firmly implanted in her mouth for a quickie BJ. Scene Three brings together two co-workers about whom Buffy's fantasizing, Tricia Ascot and a slender, long-haired caucasian woman, upon a soft, white background (softcore ; intercut through Scene Five), whilst in Scene Four, Roy eats Mast out in the black setting from the first two segments. Scene Five has the clearly-troubled Buffy leaving work to fuck and suck her husband, Marc Valentine, though she can't fully break away from her imaginary realm (facial). In Scene Six, Randy West and a petite, perky-breasted babe get it on in the black setting again. They take one another orally and vaginally, and this sexy sexing closes out with a money-shot on her backside out of doggy. Scene Seven (black backdrop again) finds Roy Stuart fucking Buffy this time. They transition through a handful of positions before he ejaculates on her ass-crack. In Scene Eight, Marc Valentine takes a crack at the young lovely from the sixth sequence, including pounding her up the butt, before capping off the flick with a pop on her ass-crack out of doggy, followed by a quick reinsertion. Hot...though bizarre...stuff!
