The vintage of the loops ranges from the very early 70s through the mid-80s which is roughly the span of when hardcore loops were produced. The quality of the loops, both in visual and in actual production values, obviously varies from loop to loop. Impulse Pictures has done a nice job with this release. Taboo 2, while not as good as Kirdy Stevens' original Taboo, is an enjoyable feature adult film. The cast does an amazing job with their sex scenes and do a great job with the non-sexual scenes. Taboo 3, on the other hand, is a massive let down with a poor story that does little to connect with the first two films and seems like just an attempt to cash in on the Taboo name. Most viewers likely won't have any interest seeing the film more than once. Taboo 2 makes this release worth picking up. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this release. The film deals with the themes of incest and features a great cast that sizzles in their sexual performances and do a great job with their nonsexual portions. Taboo 2: The Story Continues!! is an enjoyable adult film that is worth watching. The Standard Digital Signature series is a good release. There are some issues with the video, however, the film looks good. Funny moments, true missteps, wood issues, and micromanaging directors are all highlighted. A number of stars from the era make appearances, some more so than others, and the release does provide a nice look at life on a porn set from a time period when BTS material really wasn't mass-produced and readily available. Indeed, Kevin's computer is ancient, and it simply uses a dial-up modem to interact with the dating agency's computer. Now Pure Play is boxing some of her earlier work into a Classics series called Suzes Centerfolds. Volumes One and Two are available in a single box set. Anything less than two discs in a set would be a ripoff of major proportions. There are only four scenes on each disc, which average about 40 total minutes playing time. If you can stomach 80s hairstyles, hairy snatches, outdated dialogue and music, poor acting, and zero credit identifications, this DVD might be for you. Out of the eight scenes, I could only positively identify Laurie Smith (Disc 1, Scene 2). Randy West and Kevin James were recognizable from the second disc, but who cares about them, right? This offering is strictly for fans of old porn. There are costumes galore (French maids, plumbers, etc.). The film is grainy (as expected for such old movies) and didnt transfer well to disc.
