The only thing it did was make my dick permanently "Rock Hard." It's pretty much a depraved DP fuck-fest of gonzo pornography. Needless to say, I was eagerly anticipating the first volume in the series as well. The first "Rock Hard" has the luscious Lauren Phoenix on the cover, which certainly doesn't hurt. I can only hope that the first installment is half as good as the scorching second. One thing that Vertigo is doing in their videos which must be mentioned is the whole spitting thing, especially right onto the camera lens.

Their lineup of quality directors and talent is usually quite impressive. "Open For Anal" is directed by Kylie Ireland, former adult performer-turned-director. I haven't had the chance to catch any of her other directing efforts from PXP like the much-hyped "Defiled in Style." Hopefully Kylie will have as much talent behind the camera as she did in front of it. Platinum X Pictures has always been one of my favorite porn studios. Unfortunately, many of their releases have suffered from poor video quality. Some of their DVD's have "halos" around the images on the screen which are highly distracting. This color problem, or "chroma shift" was fortunately mostly limited to PXP's early movies.

I've seen a couple from the seminal "Barely Legal" series, and I was not that impressed. I visit a couple Hustler Hollywood retail locations regularly, but I don't ever really buy their product for some reason. I always check out the huge section of Hustler DVD's, but usually spend my money on some new releases from RLD or similar studios. I picked this one up randomly; I didn't really know what to expect at all. The lovely newcomers Kimmie Kream and Courtney Cummz are on the cover looking quite fetching. I haven't seen any of these girls in action before except Allie Sin.

I've seen a number of movies from the relatively new studio Mayhem, and I've been pretty impressed for the most part. I really dig the movies of Skeeter Kerkove, who produced a bunch of nasty stroke flicks under the Mayhem label. The beautiful porn starlet and director Aurora Snow also made quite an impression with her "Assploitation" series. "New Whores 2" is directed by Jim Powers, veteran of the industry, and one of the hardest-working directors in porno, with hundreds of titles to his credit. Scene 1: Jackie Ashe and a guy "Hi, I'm here about the ad in the paper for new whores" says Jackie when she walks through the door. According to Jackie, she's 18 years old. She's a brunette who looks very young and really cute.

The all-star cast of directors under the PXP logo can be counted on to churn out quality hardcore flicks. Some of their DVD's have weird-looking "halos" around the images on the screen which are highly distracting. This color problem or "chroma shift" was mostly limited to PXP's early movies, and by 2005, the problem seems to have been totally corrected.

The overall appearance of the package is quite attractive. Zero Tolerance always had some great foil box covers, and apparently 3rd Degree has followed in style. "What Gets You Off" features the lovely Cytherea, who is also an unknown quantity to me. She looks striking in a pink hat and fishnet top. I assume that Cytherea will be demonstrating her legendary "squirting" skills in her quest to "get off" in this one.

I picked up several, and while I wasn't blown away with their work, I thought a lot of it was pretty solid, including "Blasted," directed by Erin Sky, which I've previously reviewed. "My Point of View" is the first in a recurring series directed by Chico Redfield, and focusing of course on POV action. The style is meant to bring the viewer directly into the action by way of a "stunt dick." All of the sex is shot from the perspective of the male performer, also the director. I personally like the point of view genre, but it does have its detractors. The cute Aya is on the cover, which originally attracted me to the film.

This is one of the recent releases of GGG in NTSC (as opposed to PAL) format, playable and available in the US. Previously these films were only available in Europe, but a firm called Black Widow is importing these movies from Germany and releasing them stateside. List price is 39.99 euro (about $50) for these films online through the official site bukkakeshop.com, so they are also relatively pricey. "GGG" stands for "German Goo Girls" and that is exactly what this series delivers. In GGG films girls are subjected to a monsoon of sperm from every possible angle. Usually, the girl(s) ends up looking like a giant glazed donut by the scene's end. In "Die Spermatologin," the focus is on the oral and facial cumshot; there's also some swallowing here. Usually in GGG films, there is no anal sex, but in this one there is a very good amount.

The sixth volume has the beautiful Kaylynn on the cover, so I had to pick it up. Hopefully Jonni will not disappoint. Scene 1: Katrina Kraven and a guy Katrina Kraven is a very hot performer, although her appearance is not really what I'm into. I'm not particularly a fan of girls with tattoos, and Katrina has some enormous colorful ones covering her arms, and a weird pentagram one above her vagina.

There's a lot of mature ladies in this title, with the exception of Eve Lawrence, so porn viewers who like to see MILFs and older women in action might want to give this one a rental. Scene 1: Vicky Vette and a porn stud Vicky is a starlet I've only heard about and never sought out on DVD before. She looks like the prototypical 1990's porn star, with huge blonde hair and giant fake bolt-on boobs. She is more mature than the average 19-year old gonzo starlet.

The concept is apparently some sort of game show where the girls fuck each other and compete in front of judges.

Their "Rock Hard 2" was virtually a masterpiece of rough hardcore sex. "F to the A 2," from the opening credits, looks like it is an equally high-energy romp, and I'm very much looking forward to watching it. Vertigo brings a new twist to modern porn; there's lots of spit (and cum) that goes directly onto the lens of the camera. It's a nice addition to the POV repertoire; it seems to bring the viewer into the on-screen action.

They're apparently known for their artistic take on pornography. The "Innocence" movies are filmed against an empty white background (I guess to symbolically represent innocence). It's a very stylized, romantic, dream-like way to shoot, very different than typical Red Light District style gonzo. The director Halle Vanderhyden seems to do porn for the MTV generation, with dozens and dozens of quick cuts and edits in every scene. For some this may be disorienting, as it's tough to focus on one specific thing while the camera is jumping around so much.

"Chix in the Mix 2" has a better cover, which features the lovely Jada Fire. I hope that this volume improves on the first, because I definitely like to see some interracial hotties gettin' it on. One word about the picture quality of the DVD. Platinum X Pictures has always been one of my favorite porn studios, unfortunately, some of their releases have suffered from poor video quality. I've also never been particularly attracted to their box covers. Scene 1: Montanna Rae and some porn stud Montanna is a pretty hot young thing with a petite frame and long dirty blonde hair. She is wearing a sexy denim skirt and looks less like a porn star than a cute girl next door. I wish her scene was nearly as hot as her. There just wasn't anything going on here.

This one, "Sport Fucking 4," is also a long "director's cut" 2-Disc set. The sexy Penny Flame makes the cover very attractive, and I had to buy this DVD just because Erik's last one was so great. I hope the latest entry in the "Sport Fucking" series reflects Erik's serious talent as a director and performer. Scene 1: Penny Flame and Manuel Ferrara Penny Flame is the girl with the auburn hair and great natural breasts who graces the cover of this DVD. She looks unbelievably stroke-worthy as we meet her outside. She's wearing a rhinestone-studded pink bikini with matching pink boa and rhinestone collar.

The first one I saw, "Rock Hard 2," was fantastic, so I had high expectations for "Stocking Stuffers." "Rock Hard 2" was a non-stop frenzy of rough hardcore sex, and I'm assuming this one will be the same way. At first glance, I'm thinking that there's a great cast here, including Vanilla Skye, Alex Devine, and Shy Love, as well as our tempting cover girl Trinity. Scene 1: Alex Devine and a guy Alex Devine is a cute new rising starlet in the porn world. She usually brings a lot of energy to a scene, and this one is no different. She looks very good here in some thigh-high black stockings (hence the title of the movie). As soon as we meet Alex, her face is being brutally stuffed full of dick.

They have quickly become infamous due to their controversial print ads (see their Gia Paloma "Dope" ad in the March 2005 Adult Video News). The company seems to like pushing the porn envelope, and I am eagerly anticipating this one with the delectable Tyla Wynn on the cover. "Rock Hard 2" focuses on rough, high-energy, balls-to-the-wall sex. This is certainly not a feature film or a couples release. The overall tone is one of female subjugation and degradation; the girls really get put through the wringer here, getting fingers and dicks shoved down their throats to open every scene. There's lots of drooling, hair-pulling, spitting, and screaming. Perverts, raincoaters, and fans of rough, aggressive sex will simply adore this title.

This entire movie focuses on DPP, double pussy penetration. I really liked the first entry in the series, see my review for that one as well. I had high expectations for "Double Vag 2"; the first one was very good with a solid cast, and the cover for this one looks promising as well. I really enjoyed "Gang Bang 2" featuring the blonde vixens Ashley Long and Julianna Kinkaid. That one had a lot of balls-to-the-wall rough sport fucking, with both girls acting absolutely insatiable for cock once the action got going. I am expecting even more from the fourth movie in this line, due to the great performances in the past of Katja Kassin and Melissa Lauren. I have only seen a couple, the early "Travel Sluts" featuring Taylor Rain, which was solid, and the recent "Gothsend," a goth-themed feature from director Guy Capo. A lot of DVSX movies, from what I can tell, are vignette-based features, where the sexual action is set up through a number of (usually short) plot devices. Thankfully, there is really none of that here. The girls get right down to business in this straightforward gonzo release. This film is also one of a number of DVD's in the "POV" genre, which stands for "Point of View" and is meant to bring the viewer directly into the action. All sex is shot from the perspective of the male talent. Some love POV, and some hate it. I personally like it, but it makes for little variety in the male performers.

Doing a little research on the web, I found that they are a new company, with about a dozen releases under their belt, that tends to focus on interracial sex. Lisa Sparxxx also appears to star in a few of their films. She is another unknown quantity to me, but she looks very hot on the box cover ready to get gang-banged. The theme here appears to be the same as the popular "Gangland" series from Devil's Film. An "innocent" white girl gets lost in the ghetto, or some other silly scenario, and gets violated by a number of large black men. "Five Local Gangbangers... and One Big-Booty White Girl" promises the opening credits.

Unfortunately, many of their releases have suffered from poor video quality. Some of their DVD's have weird-looking "halos" around the images on the screen which are highly distracting. This color problem was mostly limited to PXP's early movies, and by 2005, the problem seems to have been totally corrected. "Broken English," release number 78 by PXP, thankfully does not suffer from the halo problem. This one has a great cover with Monica Sweetheart, and focuses on hot European babes. The cast, at first glance, does not really seem promising with the exception of Monica. I was also saddened to see that the late, beautiful Lea De Mae is in this movie; it was probably one of the last ones she would make.
