The recent "Good Girls Gone Black" with Paris Lee on the cover was a winner, but I've also seen a few duds from the Michaels arsenal. He tends to do a lot of acting in the movies he directs, and while he has a huge dick, his money shots are always quite weak and he never seems to be particularly excited about banging the incredibly hot girls he's teamed up with. Hopefully, "Black in the Blondes" will be more hit than miss. One caveat that must be discussed when talking about Platinum X is the dreaded "chroma shift" problem.

I've seen a few of their movies and I've been generally pretty impressed with their DVD production values and the heat factor of the sex. I've seen another of Guy Capo's efforts "Gothsend," where his unique vision of goth-themed sex was highly interesting. This one appears to be a hardcore anal sex extravaganza judging by the great cast, who all are deservedly famous for their ass-related antics. Scene 1: Jayna Oso and a guy Jayna Oso (also known as Malaysia) is a great choice for this movie. She's a Hawaiian hottie who has been burning up the gonzo scene in the last three years or so. She's quite attractive with shorter black hair and a juicy body, and she always delivers a filthy anal scene.

This one is another Euro-girl Lesbian romp featuring a lengthy cast and a promise of "Big Toys" and "No Boys" allowed. I'm only really familiar with the lovely Sarah Twain, who starred and directed in the aforementioned "Teen Pussy Patrol," so the majority of these girls I'll be seeing for the first time. Scene 1: Sarah + Victoria + Cindy Ah, the time-honored tradition of European porn starlets just using one name. And it's usually a common name, so you have no clue if some girl is Sarah #8 from Budapest or Sarah #14 from Munich.

Looking at the cast, it doesn't seem like any of our "Big Tit Anal Whores" here have natural breasts, but that's going to have to be forgiven in a big tit title. The cast looks pretty strong, David Luger's known for some strokeworthy gonzo flicks, and the awesome Tory Lane's on the cover. All these things will hopefully add up to another winner from Platinum X. One thing I really hate to keep talking about in the movies from Platinum X Pictures is the issue of the "chroma shift." Many of their earlier discs suffered from a bad color problem, a chroma shift, where weird-looking halos (usually blue) appear around objects on the screen.

New Sensations has been a studio that has really been impressing me as of late. Allegations of erroneous box covers aside, the DVD's that NS produces are some of the best in the industry, in my opinion, in terms of production values, attention to detail, and audio/video quality. New Sensations and their sister company Digital Sin consistently put together a solid package for virtually every movie I've seen from them. I've also been reasonably impressed with director Axel Braun, whose recent Lesbian effort "Tongues & Twats" was pretty strokeworthy.

The one problem I've had with Sean in the past is his small and usually pitiful cumshots; it's disappointing to see a hot scene followed by a noticably lacking facial.

Their DVD's tend to be shorter than most gonzo movies, but have a great deal of good bonus material to pad the running time. The audio/video quality of the discs from New Sensations and their partner company Digital Sin are also usually top-notch. I really enjoyed their recent effort "That's a Mouth Full" which was a straight European release focusing on swallowing. This one "Tongues and Twats" is an all-girl movie that appears at first glance to have a very attractive and promising cast.

There's a dreaded phone sex ad at the beginning of the movie that you're forced to watch before the main menu appears. It doesn't last too long, and it's at least well-done and does not look like the cheesy phone sex ads of the early '90s they throw in between scenes on crappy compilation tapes. Lee himself comes on and introduces the movie while sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The movie is made to look as if it had been shot on bad quality film, with some kind of filter effect.

Unfortunately, most redhead-themed porn consists of a lot of girls who are obviously not natural redheads. The curtains do not match the carpet, if you get my drift. It's sad because there's not enough hot redheaded girls doing porn today, I suppose. This title has the delectable Emily DaVinci on the cover, though, so I'm ready to enjoy a little Firebush. He's known for his huge dick, but I've never really been impressed with his performances in the past. In this one he plays the role of actor and director, appearing in four of the six scenes on the disc. One caveat that must be discussed when talking about Platinum X is the dreaded "chroma shift" problem. Many of their earlier discs suffered from a bad color problem, the chroma shift, where weird-looking halos (usually blue or red) appear around objects on the screen. Some movies have the problem much worse than others, and some PXP discs do not exhibit the problem at all. The newer the release from PXP, the less likely the halos are to appear.

Skeeter Kerkove has also made a lot of quality films under the Mayhem label, but he has since left to direct for his own company Bad Ass. Mayhem is left with the veteran director Jim Powers and some other guys like this Steve Drake (aka "Stevie D") fellow. I have never seen one of his movies before but hopefully I'll like what I see. Scene 1: Trina Michaels and two guys I have also seen Trina in a couple of other recent releases from other companies and she didn't make too much of a lasting impression on me.

Lisa is a larger girl with huge natural tits, a plump behind, and the kind of body I crave with lots of curves. There were only two scenes in "Gangbangers 3," and the production values (lighting, a/v quality, camera work) of the movie were amateurish at best. The male talent also appeared to be rank amateurs with no clue. So, I'm not expecting too much out of this one; I figure they only had time to improve between "Gangbangers" 1 and 3. Lisa is very cute, though, so I wanted to see her in action even if the action itself was not all that great or strokable.

This one "Double D P.O.V." is his debut effort as a director for Platinum X Pictures. Usually PXP churns out similar quality gonzo to its sister company, Red Light District, and generally does not disappoint. The whole thing is shot in Vince's idiosyncratic point-of-view style. His technique may be called "true" POV, in which absolutely everything is shot from the perspective of the director. This makes for a shaky, jerky style of shooting where many shots are simply close-ups of his dick going in and out over and over again. It's a very intimate but ultimately disorienting style as everything is very close to the camera.

This is one of the recent releases of GGG in NTSC (as opposed to PAL) format, playable and available in the US. Previously these films were only available in Europe, but a firm called Black Widow is importing these movies from Germany and releasing them stateside. They are now available in American smut shops or online via bukkakeshop.com. List price however is $39.99 euros (about $50) for these films so they are relatively pricey. Such is the price for quality German smut. "GGG" stands for "German Goo Girls" and that is exactly what this series delivers. In GGG films girls are subjected to a monsoon of sperm from every possible angle. Usually, the girl(s) ends up looking like a giant glazed donut by the scene's end.

I've reviewed several other movies from this studio, and I am very impressed with Vertigo's style of hardcore gonzo. Their trademark is spitting and drooling on the camera. They're also becoming known for inventive cum-play at the end of every scene, and a rough, high-energy gonzo attitude in their movies. Martin Del Toro seems to employ the freshest, hottest young porn starlets and really puts them through the hardcore paces. My big, and really only, complaint with "Gob Swappers" is that the cast list is pretty much a clusterfuck of disorganization.

Sandra is absolutely stunning and is the voluptuous beauty in the center of the front cover.

Vertigo is quickly becoming one of my top five or so favorite porn studios. Their releases, usually directed by Martin Del Toro, are high-energy, aggressive sex romps which feature a lot of spitting, anal, face-fucking, and filthy and original cum-play in almost all of their scenes. "Kung Pow Kitty" has a great cover featuring Mika Tan, and I can only assume it will be as solid as the other movies I've seen from Vertigo. One innovation that Vertigo is doing in their videos which must be mentioned is the whole spitting thing, especially right onto the camera lens. Virtually every scene I've seen from them involves spitting and drooling, generally right onto the camera, filmed from underneath. Usually everything gets quite sloppy in a Vertigo movie.

Jackie is a fresh 18-year-old starlet with an innocent look and playful attitude. I'm really looking forward to seeing her doing interactive sex in a hot cheerleader's outfit featured on the cover. It's an interactive DVD, so you navigate through various scenes by way of different menus like the "foreplay menu" and the "sex menu." I'll try to describe every option you have to watch the cute Jackie in action: "Let Her In" Jackie opens the door and we're introduced to the fresh young 18-year-old in her cute cheerleader uniform.

The genre of porn they have been producing is one that really hits home with this reviewer. This movie "Tonsil Hockey" is a collection of four-guy blow bangs with lots of emphasis on drooling and face-fucking. This is one of my favorite genres of porn, and the cast looks awesome, so I'm really looking forward to watching this title. Platinum X Pictures is infamous for putting out non-stop quality gonzo movies. All of these things add up to a promising and anticipated anal release indeed. Some of Platinum X's movies suffer from the dreaded "chroma shift" problem where the performers and other objects on screen have bizarre colored halos around them. The problem has supposedly been addressed (although the recent "Open For Anal" seems to still suffer from the chroma shift).

I don't know what kind of sex goes on in the White Ghetto, but let's hope it's hot. This one promises to be a non-stop all-girl release hosted by the lovely Sarah Twain, the tall brunette featured on the cover. She's going to be supposedly traveling around Europe on the "Teen Pussy Patrol" looking for some fresh recruits. Scene 1: Sarah Twain + Nikki Dark Sarah rides around Europe and picks up "unsuspecting" girls off the street and lures them into the car. It's kind of like a European Bangbus concept.

See my review for "Rear POV" for another recent example of their work. This one "Girl Play," from the director Kat Slater, promises to deliver us some sexual action from "A Female's Point of View." I don't know exactly what that means, hopefully we won't be staring up at male genitals for the whole movie, which would be a true "Female POV" feature (shudder to think). Scene 1: Jassie James and a dude Well, we're getting artistic behind the camera already as the cute Jassie's scene opens with a weird and deliberate orange tint. Thankfully, that goes away soon and we get to appreciate Jassie's young nubile body in full color.

I really like their box covers, so I've been eagerly anticipating something from the promising new studio. "Born For Porn" is one of their first releases, and features a lineup of dirty performers including Lauren Phoenix and Missy Monroe. The first thing I notice about the disc is the menu. There's really no options, there's just a picture of Lauren and thumbnails for all the scenes. Whereas in most porn discs there's some kind of navigation involved in the menus, for this one the menus are all combined into one. It's not the most sophisticated way to open a porn DVD, but it's certainly adequate. Scene 1: Missy Monroe and a guy Missy is a relatively new starlet who has burst upon the porn scene with a vengeance doing all kinds of nasty things on camera.

This is a fresh release from New Sensations/Digital Sin, a company that's been quietly producing a lot of quality porno over the past few years. They're best known for their long-running lines like "Naughty College Schoolgirls," but NS/DS is branching out with a lot of new titles. "That's a Mouth Full" is an all Euro-girl release from the unknown directorial talent of Tony Vidson. One confusing thing about the release is that the girls are all credited by what I'm guessing are their European names. Puma Black is "Puma Black" on the back cover but "Viva" in the movie. Daria Glower is apparently also known as "Hanna." Even the director is credited under a different name "Anthony Saez" in the credits.

The first was a 2-disc set, "Innocence: Candy Girl" with the luscious August on the cover. See my review for that one for more about Ninn Worx and director Halle Vanderhyden's style. "Innocence: Baby Blue" is only one disc, with Penny Flame and Charlie Lane posing seductively on the cover. The "Innocence" series focuses on young girls having sex against a white background, on extravagant but spare sets. The series has very high-class production values. Everything is forgotten but the girls and, usually, one piece of furniture. The action takes place on what seems like a circular, rotating stage. Everything is constantly in flux and moving around, including the quick camera edits.
