"A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" So, this is my first Tera Patrick movie. Should I have started with a different movie? The Movie: Desperate is a mess. Must a big mess. The plot makes no sense, and most of the sex is just blah. So, if it's a mess, then why did I give it three stars? Let's see... 1) While I would prefer if Spyder Jonez would keep his clothing on, he is still a good actor, and does a good job with his part. 2) Some of the sex is actually good. Namely, the scene between Tera Patrick and Monique Alexander. 3) It pushed the limits for a Vivid movie. Yes, this movie really pushes the limits for a Vivid movie. The Masseuse had light bondage in it, and it worked with the softer story. Desperate is a harder edged "story" (more on that later), and the bondage present is a lot harder. What I Liked Other reviews captured in better detail the scene by scene details, I will attempt here to describe the overall feel/effect the movie had on a couple's ( mr and mrs barrettman !) viewing experience. The concept of women initiating and controlling the mood and action of a porn film was most unique and enjoyable to see. The outfits of various styles of lingerie worn by the women in each scene was a nice touch. The scenarios/set-ups seemed plausible , not too cheezy or contrived, mrs. b-man especially enjoyed this aspect.The carnality/heat in the scenes was helped along by the concept of women verbally/physically demonstrating their control, needs, and pleasure during the encounters. What I Disliked mmm, not too much really. perhaps future editions could find more " natural" actresses ( mrs B HATES obvious implants ). some future scenarios where the women ask/demand and receive pleasuring by men, ex. feet/body massages leading into frenzied sex. Cum Tales 1 Initial ThoughtsI'm half happy and half let down by this one. One one hand we have great looking girls,occasional hot sex for the most part, and fantastic extras really bring the whole thing together nicely. On the other, there is a bit of shady production and some other frustrations I'll get into as they occur below, and it just takes the edge well down on an otherwise pretty solid effort. I was familiar with Madness pictures before I got this disc, but this one is the first all sex title I've checked out by them, it's a good effort, but this title is a pretty good example of how poor editing choices can really alter the finishing product of a movie. Numerous times cuts are made that really interupt the flow of things and attempt to pull the wool over our eyes on certain acts, and it gets frustrating quickly.
