There's plenty of characters brought in from the comics, and some very nice care towards the art direction along with good sex. The technical aspects show some good care, and although there's a ton of behind the scenes footage it doesn't always add much to the package. The story is light but nicely done, and works well largely due to the great chemistry among the cast. The sex fits into the story nicely, and the movie has a very nice flow. "Grindhouse XXX: A Double Feature" is a very good production from Adam and Eve that puts forth two features, both done in the over-the-top "grindhouse" style. The first ("Student Assassin") involves Teagan Presley, a student at a local community college who moonlights as a contract killer. Her cop girlfriend (Nina Mercedez) has been taken hostage by a drug kingpin (Derrick Pierce), and it's up to Teagan to rescue her...the hard way. The second ("Massacre at Pine Lake") features Alexis Ford and her crew of camp workers at the Pine Lake camp the day prior to its seasonal opening. After a monstrous serial killer (Lee Stone) escapes from the police and happens upon the camp, the whole place turns into a bloodbath. Fortunately for Alexis, this beast is a pansy when it comes to standard women's self-defense maneuvers--too funny. Complementing all of this violence, of course, is a good deal of hot sex...which should still be the bread and butter of any adult film, plot or not. [read the full review]

There are a few small changes to the structure but overall this is a faithful take on the original version with all your favorite characters present-- and fucking!! Well we know Lynda fucks in the Hollywood version but here everyone does and then usually dies, lol. Lily Labeau gets the big role of Laurie in this and looks very hot in the one outfit she wears. Andy San Dimas and Lexi Belle are good supporting characters here taking on the roles of Annie and Lynda. Director David Lord describes it in the extras interview as a "liner-non linear-linear" movie. Was it worth it for Lord to go through all of this? We've had a few cast changes but they were good ones as Lexi Belle, Dylan Riley come on board and you have the great addition of Tanner Mayes in this one too and she doesn't disappoint doing a solo as well as fucking one of the Brady boys. Alice is back too along with Sam the Butcher-- Ron Jeremy and he has a few good lines in a memorable scene with Lynn Lemay's Alice. An easy purchase for fans of the series. The story isn't to hard to follow, Jan is jealous of Marcia's popularity and she wants some. Tanner pipes in with some advice and it takes awhile but you'll see Jan come around in a good finale with Eric John. [read the full review]
