Dreamgirl (Wicked) Review

"She's every man's fantasy...for one lucky guy, the dream's about to come true" says the DVD cover of DREAMGIRL (2010, Wicked Pictures) with a fan boy standing next to an undersized billboard of Alektra Blue, who plays swimsuit model Selina in this solid showcase of the lovely Ms. Blue's talents. Directed and co-starring Brad Armstrong as Selina's agent, Dylan, DREAMGIRL follows the exploits of fan boy Mike (Kris Slater, who's fine here) as he unexpectedly finds himself involved with the girl of his dreams. It's in wide screen with a running time of 2 hours. Condoms are used.

After awaking from a dream, Mike heads to work where he must use his smarts to get his boss to give him the rest of the day off so that he can wander to where Selina is signing swimsuit calendars. He accidentally catches her out back for a smoke and the duo strike up a conversation with Selina getting his phone number. Her agent Dylan drives up in a limo and tells Mike to not get any foolish fan boy ideas but he does when Selina calls him and enlists him as tour guide for the evening. She gives him a peck on the cheek for his troubles, which is all that Mike needs to show up for the following day of calendar signings, which pisses off Dylan and sets up his lame attempts to keep Mike away from Selina.

A dream sequence that opens the DVD seems out of place as our fan boy character Mike not only fucks Selina but ass fuck her, too. Why is this at the beginning? At the end, a three-way (with Mike's roommate played by Seth Gamble plus Brianna Blair and Mariah Milano) seems tacked-on just to show other performers fucking; sorry, folks, this sex scene finale belongs in the special features.

Earlier, Selina administers a terrific blow job upon Mike in the back of the limo (!!!!) and the duo suck and fuck at Mike's place (!!!) before Dylan tracks them down. The problem with their bedroom encounter is that it is treated just like any other !!! sex scene; in this story, a fan boy hooking up with the woman of his dreams needed to be special.

Other sex scenes of note include the boss and the secretary (Randy Spears and Francesca Le) sucking and fucking in an unlocked office, Selina and her masseuse (Alektra Blue and Danny Mountain) getting it going on the masseuse table in another dream sequence, a frustrated Dylan letting a gal (Mason Moore) make it all better in another scene. All of these scenes are of the !!! straight sex variety and pad the length of this DVD; just maybe, making them blow job scenes would have made the "real-life" encounter between Selina and Mike seem more special and meaningful.

So, DREAMGIRL (2010, Wicked Pictures) is a fine vehicle for showcasing the talents of the lovely Alektra Blue (also check out Alektra's bonus scene from STUDIO 69) but with a little more thought and execution the story of a fan boy encountering the girl of his dreams could have been a great feature. As is, DREAMGIRL is pretty good with a bunch of too similar sex scenes that hamper the impact of fan boy and Selina's carnal encounters. Final rating for DREAMGIRL is !!! outta !!!!!
