Following Kevin Smiths unconventional rom-com Zack and Miri Make a Porno , Ive always wanted to see Zacks (Seth Rogen) ill-fated Star Whores. Four years laters, AVN hall of famer Axel Braun picked up where Zack left off with the 2012 bestseller Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody .

Axel Braun and company mount a major parody production of STAR WARS XXX (2011, Axel Braun Productions/Vivid Entertainment) with a slew of porn actors in sex roles, non sex roles and voice performances. Here is a review.

There are porn parodies and then there are porn parodies, and with Vivid’s Star Wars XXX, this is definitely the latter. Vivid and Axel Braun have definitely hit the mother lode here as there were a total of 6 Star Wars movies to parody. Given that this will be a major hit and award winner next year, it’s only a matter of time before the next installment comes out. Also given that this is porn, and Darth Vader and Luke have already enjoyed Leia’s intergalactic cash and prizes by the end of this installment, one can only wonder how they are going to handle the incest aspect of the series of events in later installments.

Axel Braun has turned out what's bound to be one of the best parodies to come out of 2012. This one works from start to finish with a great story that should work for lovers and haters alike along with nice acting, hot sex, and a budget that allows for great costumes, art direction, and special effects. The release also shows some great attention towards the technical aspects and extras. This release is well worth your hard earned money.

Axel Braun strikes geek gold in his new flick, "Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody", a top-notch production from Vivid that parodies the classic sci-fi epic of a similar title. Given the generation-defining nature of its source material, Mr. Braun has a lot to live up to with this one and, in all honesty, is taking something of a risk. Fortunately for everyone involved (including the viewer), he succeeds with flying colors...and what results is a stellar production that is true to the theme and storyline of the original, as well as being funny, clever, and sexy all at the same time. Indeed, this release will no doubt fuel the spank-time fantasies of both the dedicated and casual Star Wars fan-boys alike. Yes...it's that good.

A new project from Axel Braun and his crew who are taking on a huge challenge, Star Wars!! We get to take a journey to that galaxy far far away where the Empire is in charge but a small band of rebels led by Princess Leia are trying to make their stand. You know the story and Axel sticks pretty close to the original source material here with some modifications. Plus he works a lot more humor into the story than was in the original- this might turn off some super hardcore fans but I thought it worked pretty good. Some of the sexual pairings were taboo- Leia and Vader plus the finale where she bones Han-- and Luke! Well worth the wait and I'll be curious to see the sequels, they better do them!
