The audio is in excellent shape and comes through clear at all times and I didn't notice any hard to understand dialogue. Now on to the plot of the movie. This movie has enough plot to keep a soap opera going for 6 months, but don't let that discourage you my fellow porn viewers. I found the story well developed and if you follow it closely it is quite interesting and it will hold your attention. You do have to pay attention though to know what is happening. This is not a film you can fast forward through and know what is happening. The plot involves 3 couples of whom the men of the 3 couples all have one thing in common they have all dated Alexandra. Alexandra remains a mystery throughout the movie. Alexandra has something in store for these 3 couples though, she wants the guys, girlfriends to think that she is about to tell their boyfriends about their secret sexual shenanigans. This 1984 release from Cal Vista is a couple of years too recent to be considered "Golden Age," but is definitely a classic. Produced by Sam Norvell and directed by Robert McCallum, it features 70s porn superstar Annette Haven, along with John Leslie, Harry Reems, R. Bolla, and Hershel Savage. It also features "Angel" who was breifly the rage during the mid-1980s. She does a scene with Leslie and another with R. Bolla. My favorite performer is the under-celebrated Janey Robbins. She had a great body and was a very enthusiastic sex performer. Robbins also has a cute Minnesota accent (like the female sheriff in "Fargo"). Here, she does two scenes, one with R. Bolla and one with Hershel Savage (a purported incest scene). Strangely, it appears that this movie was intended to have a sequel, but I've never seen it, and I don't think it was ever made. Nu-tech has done an acceptable job on the DVD transfer; it looks much better than the tape I had. Nu-tech also features Dolby surround sound, but I couldn't detect any improvement in the sound. Length 83:42 Year 1978 This review will be a comparison between the 2 current releases of Debbie Does Dallas by the companies VCX and NuTech. With a review of the movie following. The VCX dvd of Debbie Does Dallas is slightly longer than the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas. I have seen both and noticed 4 slight cuts to the NuTech dvd. None of which were major. The running time on the VCX dvd is 19 seconds longer than the NuTech dvd, but the NuTech dvd has a better quality picture so I would recommend going with the NuTech dvd over the VCX dvd. The VCX dvd is divided into 5 chapters and there is a pause when the player switches between these chapters. This is not the case on the NuTech dvd as the movie is on one track on the NuTech dvd. The NuTech dvd appears to have been transfered from a film source while the VCX dvd appears to have been mastered from a vhs tape. [read the full review]

The running time on the VCX dvd is 19 seconds longer than the NuTech dvd, but the NuTech dvd has a better quality picture so I would recommend going with the NuTech dvd over the VCX dvd. The VCX dvd is divided into 5 chapters and there is a pause when the player switches between these chapters. This is not the case on the NuTech dvd as the movie is on one track on the NuTech dvd. The NuTech dvd appears to have been transfered from a film source while the VCX dvd appears to have been mastered from a vhs tape. [read the full review]

Here is a Harold Lime/Robert McCallum classic from 1982 that is still famous over 20 years later. It won six adult film critic awards, including best picture. Because it was filmed near the end of the "golden age," there aren't quite as many exterior shots as there would have been in movies a few years older. The plot involves a madam named Amanda (Veronica Hart) who, as a favor to her former pimp and lover (Jamie Gillis), sets up an S & M session for a local politician. The girls that she sends for this session (Lisa de Leeuw and Samantha Fox) are later found dead. R. Bolla plays the straight-arrow homicide detective trying to solve the case, without much help from Amanda. To make matters worse, there's a corrupt vice squad cop (Ron Jeremy) who is constantly getting in the way. By today's standards, this is couples' fare, with relatively short sex scenes, and loads of plot. It's so good-hearted, it could almost be on the Family Channel. Veronica Hart gets to over-act and ham it up ridiculously. It's a good movie, but a poor DVD. [read the full review]

These 4 cuts do not amount to very much and you are not missing much in terms of actual sex or story. There are only 19 seconds total cut from the NuTech dvd so as I say your not missing much.
