Hello porn fans, I took some time out from the gonzo world to check out this Stormy Daniels directed flick from Wicked Pictures and from a gonzo fans POV this might be a bit tame but for my viewing I enjoyed this one a lot. Most of the credit I think goes to the great cast for this flick led by Roxy Jezel who absolutely shines in this one looking sexier than I can ever remember and I wonder if her ClubJenna stuff will be anywhere near as good as this vehicle was for her talents. Stormy Daniels goes behind the camera again, this time with an all girl horror movie about a woman (herself) who preys on other women sexually. The mood is nicely intense throughout the movie while never getting in the way of the sex, and the sex has a very nice variety. The technical aspects aren't crystal clear, but they are very well done approximating the look of many of the current suspense and horror movies of recent times along with giving an anamorphic widescreen transfer. There's also some very nice attention put into the extras to help round out the DVD. This is a much more intense and gutsy release than I expected, and I really hope Wicked continues to give Stormy Daniels (and their other directors, of course) the freedom to make more movies like it. So I'll try to do the short reviews to let you know if a movie sucks or it's worth all the nominations. Few months ago I review my first Dorcel Movie and I was pretty satisfied with Story of Yasmine This time a movie with the same director, but with the super special appeal of Katsumi, who to my eyes is the hottest and prettiest of all the Asian performers, and you can argue that, but I won't move an inch of my center of sincerity, she is a sexual exuding animal, whose leading roll is well achieved. In this latest confection offered up by Brad Armstrong and Wicked, I thought I picked out a nice chocolate butter with walnuts....instead I got a raspberry cream, with dark chocolate no less. After reading some promo blurbs and seeing the box cover loaded with all them promising excerpts, I thought I rented a sure fire favorite...I was sorely disappointed. If I ran a porn studio, I would instill RULE #1, on a list of 1, that the girls gotta be at least as hot and/or cute and/or attractive as might be in any other 'real' movie one might wanna rent on a saturday night. It's got a top notch cast of talent so far as features go in Randy Spears, Stephen St. Croix, Avena Lee, and Kirsten Price who I think had just become a Wicked Girl when this was shot. The jist of the story is Stormy's character feeling like she's being watched, that there's some kind of presence she senses often when she wakes up at night, etc. Of course it's all true but there's a perfectly natural explanation for this. Randy tries to play the good husband and Avena and Stephen their good close friends who both seem concerned about the behaviour of Stormy. The story progresses ok with mostly hints of the supposed watching with no actual overt signs save for a shower scene where Stormy goes out when she thinks she's heard something and coming back the words I See you are traced in the mist of the mirror. But Im With The Band is a sexy, plot-driven film from Wicked Pictures that features then-contract star, Keri Sable, as a dedicated fan / groupie of a rock band fronted by Barrett Blade. Keriwho is in her relatively rare brunette modeis in top form in this production and really demonstrates why she so quickly rose to fame during her relatively short stint in the adult film industry. The plot revolves around her do-anything attitude to get into the show and to ultimately meet the bandwhich, after some ups and downsas well as some sucking and fuckingshe accomplishes in a manner that she could have never even dreamt of. In terms of the sex, Keri is featured in five of the eight sequences. To kick things off, she blows Kris Knight and takes a facial pop-shot to get into the show (Scene One; good). Later, she meets up with a fellow groupie, Kirsten Price, and knocks out a very good girl-girl sequence with her in a bathroom stall (Scene Three). [read the full review]
