Review brief: "Reign of Tera 3" is an Asian-themed feature by Teravision starring none other than the ever-popular, Tera Patrick. The storyline involves an investigation into the poisoning of customers at an Asian brothel run by Tera and owned by Evan Seinfeld (of Biohazard and reality t.v. fame in real life). There are four scenes presented here--a boy-girl romp between Michelle Maylene and a Caucasian actor, a tense and steamy boy-girl anal sequence involving Tera and Evan, a lengthy and fairly tame all-girl orgy centered around Tera and seven other Asian actresses, and a blowjob scene between Lucy Thai and Evan Seinfeld. Overall, this production is above-average--mostly due to the scorching Evan and Tera anal action--but it is not spectacular. The plot is simple, the scenes are largely average, and the bonuses are somewhat lacking. If you are a Tera Patrick fan, this is likely a worthwhile purchase. Otherwise, a test rental is probably best.

A.J. is a tall, slender blonde with a natural physique who appears to be in her early-to-mid-20s. She has three very good to excellent scenes in this production: two boy-girls and a boy-boy-girl--all vaginal. Not to be discounted, however, are A.J.'s co-stars: the ever-cute Lexi Belle, the busty Kagney Linn Karter, and the nicely-bottomed Phoenix Marie--all blondes and all doing boy-girl, vaginal sequences. The action in these three ladies' scenes also ranges from very good to excellent, with Kagney Linn Karter's rooftop romp being a true standout among the bunch. Review brief: "Heaven" is a dark feature that is heavily plot-driven and that eventually works its way to an intriguing--yet grim--ending. The storyline revolves around an unlucky character, Alonzo (Tommy Gunn), and an exotic dancer, Heaven (Hillary Scott), whom he meets at one of his friend's clubs. Among other things, Alonzo has a gambling problem, and this--coupled with the feelings that he develops for Heaven--ultimately leads him to his demise. He's not alone on this path, though, as there are twists and turns along the way that bring a host of other characters into this tragic tale. Among them are his "friends" (Herschel Savage and Tom Byron) and an unbalanced dancer (Lanny Barby) who is prone to jealousy. The visuals in this film, while never really losing heat and typically good, at times border on being disturbing, as they parallel the storyline. Overall, this movie is perfect for those who like things a bit darker in terms of plot but still want heat in their sexual performances.

Review brief: "Centerfolds Exposed" is a top-notch production directed by B. Skow and distributed by Vivid that showcases some of the most popular (and best) talent in the adult film industry today. Vivid contract girl, Nikki Jayne, with three scenes--two boy-girls and a girl-girl--is the star of the movie, but with steamy sequences like the Tori Black boy-girl, the Alexis Texas boy-girl, and the Chayse Evans boy-girl, it's hard to pick an absolute "best" performer or performance here. There are six scorching scenes, five of which involve veritable superstars of the porn world and all of which are very good to excellent in every way. The production values are great across the board, and the picture looks spectacular on an HD set with an HDMI-connected DVD player. While there isn't a plot, there is the model theme that ties the scenes together, and the directorial work of B. Skow is really phenomenal. All in all, this one should not be missed out on.

As with just about every production by this director these days, this one is excellent. There are six scenes featuring action ranging from girl-on-girl lesbian sex with toys (between Raylene and Gianna Michaels) all the way up to a steamy anal segment (between Raylene and Mr. Pete). Thrown in along the way are three vaginal-only, boy-girl scenes--those of Charley Chase, Kylie Reese, and Evie Delatosso--as well as a boy-boy-girl scene with Raylene, Jerry, and Mick Blue. The Raylene anal scene and the Charley Chase scene are absolutely not to be missed, but the others are no sleepers, either. In terms of plot, there really isn't one, but there is a theme--that of housework--that is prevalent in the lead-up tease sequences that precede the various sex-based segments and that helps tie them loosely together. In all, this is an excellent product.

These people include an employee of Alex's and his wife (played by Tee Real and Lorena Sanchez), another swinging couple (played by Eva Angelina and Justin Magnum), and a female bartender (played by Gabriella Rossi). The plot itself isn't extraordinarily complex, but it does provide for a reasonable enough setup for each of the scenes--of which there are four. These scenes range from fairly good to excellent, with all of the actresses looking spectacular. The anal segment involving Alex Gonz and Gabriella Rossi is not to be missed. While not the best that Vivid has to offer, this is still a solid effort on the part of the company, and also Paul Thomas, and is worth looking into.

These sequences range from good to excellent, with the finale featuring Savanna, Hannah, and Alex Gonz being the best of the group. Savanna doesn't have anal sex during any of the festivities, but Victoria Sin and Kayla Quinn both do. While the number of scenes is less than what one would normally expect, the feature's length is still good, and there are five bonus scenes that add even more bang for your buck. Savanna, as always, comes across as elegant and sensual, and her work truly stands out. Fortunately, the DVD is presented in a mature way, and it is overt from the onset that all of the activities are fantasy-driven and clearly consensual. This doesn't get in the way of the eroticism of the production, however, as most of the action is smoking hot and, quite honestly, often shocking. The scene featuring Sasha Grey and Danny is the best, but the others are all worth looking into, as well. If you are a fan of rougher sex or are simply intrigued by the subject from afar, you should pick up this title. It won't disappoint.

Throw in an excellent, potentially-tragic storyline featuring a mean-spirited, cheating businessman played by Randy Spears, and it's guaranteed to be excellent. Indeed, this film serves as a refreshing break from the monotony that has crept into a good deal of adult productions in the recent past. While there is no anal sex presented here, the sex that is put forth is more than hot enough to make up for it, and the production values in this endeavor are absolutely top-of-the-line. If you are looking for plot-driven porn with hot sex, it doesn't get much better than this.

In terms of the sex, the third scene--which involves a three-way between Roxy DeVille, Carolyn Reese, and Evan Stone, and the last scene--which involves an orgy featuring all sorts of activities, are definitely the best. Still, none of the other three scenes are bad, ranging from good to quite good, and involve more typical boy-girl and girl-girl pairings. Overall, I would highly recommend this film to anyone who is looking for fun, couples-friendly-yet-still-erotic porn that features enough of a plot to keep things rolling (and often funny) between the various instances of sex.

Sex-wise, most of the performances here are good, with one very good (that of Sasha Grey) to lead things off. The actresses are all quite attractive, and there are a couple of lesser-known faces presented here that will be worth keeping an eye out for in the future (Cassidy Morgan and Madelyn Marie). There are a few potential drawbacks, as well. For instance, the scenes seem just a bit too long and the camera angles can get a bit bizarre. Also, there is at least one instance where the director can be heard giving directions to the actress. That said, this is still a solid production and worth a look if one is a fan of any of the women here, nylons themselves, or creative uses for common articles of clothing.

Review brief: It's Legends of the Industry Day here in "The Cougar Club Volume 2", as some of the biggest and most loved names in adult film history come together for an older-woman-centric, all-sex production by 3rd Degree Movies. The likes of Shayla LaVeaux, Debi Diamond (one of her first scenes in quite some time), Ginger Lynn, Teri Weigel, and Brittany O'Connell give you more "cougar" for your money, with each of them turning in a very good (or better) performance. There's plenty of nasty stuff (Ginger Lynn's anal and Debi Diamond's DP), as well as plenty of sexy stuff (Brittany O'Connell's art-loft romp). If you are a fan of older women and / or you are a fan of adult film industry legends, this one is for you.

Review brief: "The King of Coochie 2" is an all-sex, boy-girl production that focuses on Tom Byron, the self-proclaimed King of Coochie, filming steamy sequences with some of the better-known talent in the adult film industry. Amongst the actresses here are Alexis Texas, who turns in the best scene on the DVD, Penny Flame, Katja Kassin, Sindee Jennings, and Sophie Dee. All of the ladies are in top-form, and all of them turn out very good performances, as Tom Byron turns them out. All of the action here is vaginal, and there are no condoms used. There is also no group-sex, so the scenes can get fairly similar as the viewer progresses from one to the next. As such, this DVD is not recommended for people who wish to watch it in a single sitting. That said, if watched in a few sittings over a few days, this one is definitely worthwhile.

Review brief: "Double Your Pleasure" is a DVD re-release of the notorious late-70s title of the same name. What makes this film controversial is that it is one of the few offerings available in which true, identical twin sisters engage in a sex act with each other (they partake in an actual, incestuous act). The twins in this case are the Young twins, Brooke and Taylor, who also appeared in another film together, "Teenage Twins". The plot here revolves around the twins, their uncle (who believes that they may have stolen money from him before running away), a private investigator (who is tasked with following the twins), and a number of other characters that they encounter along the way. This is a 70s porno, so there are no condoms involved, but there is plenty of bush to go around. The scenes tend to be shorter, and the plot tends to be heavier than in most modern adult films. If you are looking for a decent 70s flick, or are interested in the novelty of twin-sex, then this film is for you.
