Review:
“Reign of Tera 3” is an Asian-themed feature by Teravision starring none other than the ever-popular, Tera Patrick. The plot, which is very simple but does help tie the scenes together, involves an investigation into the poisoning of customers at an Asian brothel run by Tera and owned by Evan Seinfeld (of Biohazard and reality t.v. fame in real life). There are four scenes presented here—a boy-girl romp between Michelle Maylene and a Caucasian actor that features some nice reverse-cowgirl work and a facial pop-shot (Scene One); a tense and steamy boy-girl anal sequence involving Tera and Evan that includes some ass-to-mouth by Tera, some gaping, and a cum-shot on Tera’s face and mouth (Scene Two); a lengthy and fairly tame all-girl orgy centered around Tera and seven other Asian actresses that incorporates pussy-eating, dildo / vibrator use, double-headed dildo sharing, and strap-on use (Scene Three); and a blowjob scene between Lucy Thai and Evan Seinfeld that is reasonably hard and involves face-fucking, deep-throating, some spit, and a pop-shot on Lucy’s face, mouth, and neck (Scene Four). The festivities and the storyline come to a close at the end of this last sequence with something of a surprise ending—though it isn’t too unpredictable. All of the scenes take place at the brothel, and the sets are decent but not spectacular. Tera’s costumes are intricate and unique, however. The best scene, by far, is the one between Evan and Tera (Scene Two)—these two really bring out the sexual best in one another. The other three scenes are okay but nothing really to write home about.
In terms of bonus materials and other options, there are the standard “Play Movie”, “Chapter Index”—a standard scene selection mechanism, and “Extras” options in the Main Menu. Under this last item, one finds “Trailers”—which gives a selection of many Teravision-related previews, a “Photo Gallery”—which gives stills and “pretty-girl” shots from the production, and an “Internet” option—which puts forth instructions for computer use of the DVD and a list of websites. Conspicuously absent here is a BTS segment, which is an unfortunate omission.
Overall, this production is above-average—mostly due to the scorching Evan and Tera anal action in Scene Two—but, on the whole, it is not spectacular. The plot is simple, the sex scenes are largely average, and the bonus materials are somewhat lacking. While not bad, this production isn’t up to the high standards that are being set by other filmmakers these days—including those of other directors for this film’s distributor, Vivid. If you are a Tera Patrick fan, then this is likely a worthwhile purchase. Otherwise, a test rental is probably best.
