Review:
“Meggan Does Malibu” is a solid, plot-based production by Vivid that features contract girl, Meggan Mallone, and well-known actress, Gianna Lynn, with a bit of Holly West and Jennifer Dark thrown in for good measure, as well. Meggan does boy-girl and boy-girl-girl scenes, while Gianna puts forth boy-girl-girl and boy-boy-girl sequences. Holly and Jennifer take on the anal duties in the production, with Holly being the other female partner in Gianna’s boy-girl-girl, and Jennifer being the other woman in Meggan’s. In terms of the plot, Meggan, Gianna, and Gianna’s fiancé (played by Trent Tesoro) are vacationing together in California for a variety of cathartic reasons. Gianna and Meggan run into Rocco Reed early on, and it is this relationship that drives three of the four scenes, as well as a good deal of the storyline. By the time that all is said and done, Meggan has slept with Rocco (pop-shot on the tummy) and then later with Rocco and his lover (Jennifer—ejaculation on both actresses’ faces / mouths), and Rocco has helped hook Gianna up with a couple of gentlemen (Alan Stafford and Joey Brass) at his home (one facial and one chest cum-shot). The only scene that doesn’t involve Rocco or his character’s intervention directly is the one between Gianna, her onscreen fiancé, and Holly (the maid) in the couples’ hotel room. Gianna actually leaves this scene before it finishes up in the bathroom, with Holly taking a facial from Trent.
All of the scenes in this production are very good and also well-captured. The editing and lighting are good, and the action plays out in far more realistic settings than one typically finds in porn. This latter fact gives the proceedings more authentic charm and also more of that “real movie” flavor than is often encountered in the world of adult. A couple of minor drawbacks are the website watermark in the lower right corner of the screen that is always present and also the advertisements that play upon first inserting the disc. The former doesn’t really detract too badly from the goings-on, however, and the latter can be skipped using the “scene forward” button on the remote.
Given that this is a Vivid feature, one expects a number of bonus materials and other options, and there is no let-down here in that area. There is a “Scene Selection” option that is as its name implies. There is a “Behind the Scenes” segment that is fun and about 7.5 minutes long, and there is a “Movie Gallery” that plays through a slideshow of “pretty-girl” shots and stills from the movie. One also finds a “Vivid Previews” option—which plays through various trailers of other releases—and also a “Vivid Products” selection—which plays through a variety of advertisements. The “Positions Room” choice plays through the action from the production of the chosen type, while the “Vivid Girl Extras” gives a choice of five bonus scenes. These include a boy-girl anal sequence featuring Jennifer Dark (from “Faithless”), a Meggan Mallone boy-girl segment (from “Flashback”), a Gianna Lynn masturbation scene (from “Going Deep”), a boy-girl-girl romp involving Carmen McCarthy and Holly West (from “Strictly Conversation”), and a boy-girl-girl scene with Hanna Hilton and Meggan Mallone (from “Suck It”). There is also a text-based biography option for Meggan Mallone, the star of this feature, in this section.
Given the overall quality of the scenes—sex-wise and production-values-wise, the highly-attractive nature of the participants, and the plot presented here, I would strongly recommend this title to couples and those who want a bit more than just straight fucking in their porn. The large quantity of bonus materials is also a major plus—with five bonus scenes, it’s like getting a second movie for free. In all, for the appropriate audience, this one should definitely go on the “to buy” list.
