Review:
“Shauna Sand Exposed” is a leaked sex tape distributed by Vivid that features Shauna Sand and a 25 year old, male model who appears to be of French origin. For those who might not know, Ms. Sand was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for May of 1996 and is also the ex-wife of mainstream actor, Lorenzo Lamas. While many have seen her nude before, it is fairly safe to say that no one—save her intimate acquaintances—has seen her quite like this. Presented in this DVD—which, in a single word, is “excellent”—is Shauna in her full, hardcore glory. To be sure, she is no longer a young woman, but she is still in incredible shape and looks stunning. Granted, she appears to have had some noticeable plastic surgery done—which is most pronounced in her lips—but this doesn’t really take away from her looks and is not a real distraction in the production. One gets over this quickly. Physically, Shauna is a bleached blonde and has a slender, tight physique sporting large, enhanced breasts and a womanhood that is fully shaved. The title “ultimate cougar” comes to mind when watching her here. The male lead stays predominantly in a POV position and films the action, so he isn’t fully onscreen a tremendous amount, but he appears to be in excellent shape, as well.
In terms of the action, this DVD feels “real”. As such, it is rougher in the camerawork department than a typical, full-on adult production, but this actually ends up adding to the heat and flavor of the proceedings. Everything appears to have been shot in high-definition, and the production values are top-notch for this type of shot-at-home, amateur endeavor. There is a good deal of banter back-and-forth between Shauna and her “co-star”, and there is a lot of “real life” stuff that is presented, as well—things like walking to the beach, getting drinks, putting on makeup, etc. There is also a large amount of sex brought forth, which is where this production really excels.
There are three sex scenes, and two of them—the first and the last—incorporate a lot of POV angles. The first scene takes place in the bedroom of their suite, and it involves Shauna taking the male lead’s engorged member in a variety of positions—many of which include her still wearing a pair of crotchless panties that she had been showing him just before. Toward the end of the scene, the panties come off, and the male lead uses a clear, pink, double-headed dildo on Shauna. It should be noted that during some of the non-POV cowgirl work that transpires in this scene, the male lead does manage to get a bit of his finger up her butt, as well. There is no cum-shot for this portion of the disc, but it is still scorching. The second scene takes place on a sofa just inside the balcony of their suite. While this does create a mess in the room, it is quite sexy and eventually leads to Shauna using the same ice cream on the male lead’s cock for a POV blowjob / handjob sequence that is out of this world in terms of sensuality and heat. This ultimately finishes with the male lead ejaculating in Shauna’s mouth and on her face—again, in a slow and sensual manner. All of the sex on this disc is super-hot and super-sexy. Helping to accomplish this is the intimate feel of the sex, as well as the use of many POV close-ups of the action. Shauna’s good looks, of course, also factor into this heavily, as should go without saying.
In terms of bonus materials and other options, there are “Play Feature”, “Scene Selection”—a standard scene selection mechanism, and “Special Features” options found in the Main Menu. Under this last choice, one finds three sections: “Photo Gallery”—with a slideshow of stills from the movie, “Vivid Extras”—which plays through various advertisements for Vivid-related products, and “Vivid-Celebrity Previews”—which gives a choice of nine trailers for celebrity-featuring videos distributed by Vivid. There are no bonus scenes here—which is too bad—given that this would have been an excellent opportunity for Vivid to showcase some of the quality material that it has been producing as of late. This is particularly true given that this DVD is likely to be viewed by a larger audience than the standard Vivid audience.
Overall, this DVD is a smoking-hot look into the private / intimate life of its “star”, Ms. Shauna Sand. The sex here is intimate, real, and scorching, and the production values are excellent for an amateur movie of this nature. I highly recommend the purchase of this short-but-sweet, Playmate-featuring video—it won’t disappoint.
