I arrived home from work today and there it was sitting in the mailbox; Shauna Sand Exposed. Thank you Vivid. I’ll be the first to admit that in the past there was very little in the Vivid catalog that was of interest to me. How times have changed. I’ve had the opportunity to review several recent releases and I’ve been very impressed with the changes that have been made to their product. In the so called Celebrity Porn vein, this is by far the best release in the genre hands down. I also want to stress that my ratings and high marks for this release are to be contained to the genre itself and not all of porn.

That being said, let’s get right to it shall we? Vivid grabs you right from the get go with very nice book style outer package that makes reference to the lawsuit and the attempts to stop this release. In a nice little dig at Shauna’s former hubby, they call her a renegade that can’t be controlled. Nice! I love subtle humor. The actual release box is stashed inside the outer book box. The overall packaging alone makes this release almost perfect for gift giving during the upcoming holiday season. Inside the standard box cover we find a 2 disk set. Disk 1 is Shauna Sand Exposed. Disk 2 includes almost 3 hours of Vivid trailers from the 5 different genres that they produce; All sex, Brand New Faces, Features, Vivid-Alt, and Vivid-Celeb.

Now that the packaging and extras are covered, that only leaves us the featured attraction, Shauna Sand Exposed. Disk 1 is 1 hour and 13 minutes long and Shauna is at least topless for roughly 1 hour if not more of that. We start out with Shauna on the balcony and the camera guy speaking what I presume to be French. All dialogue is subtitled underneath in case we don’t understand what is being said. Several times a reference is made to playing in your Sand. Nice subtlety there. We alternate between color and black and white for a bit. For the first 12 minutes or so there is little more than Shauna lounging around the Miami hotel room in panties and heels. Very nice body display throughout this release. She tells her guy to make sure the door is locked and obsesses on this a little bit too much. On go some crotchless panties. At about 17 minutes in we have the guy do some finger insertion with her in doggy. He attempts a little penile insertion but she pulls away. All shots are POV at this point and we finally get some actual penetration of her pantied pussy. At about 25 minutes or so we have a close-up insertion shot of them in cowgirl with a little too much emphasis on the guy’s doggy balls but its unavoidable at this point as the camera is just sitting there. We then get some finger insertion into Shauna’s renegade region, I.E. anal. About this time, Shauna cums, but I guess the guy isn’t sure so he asks her and she acknowledges that she did. We take a quick break for some mild toy play with Shauna having removed her panties. The toy in play was a double headed dong and I was looking for a toy DP but the scene closes after some pussy penetration. There was no popshot on this sequence.

Next sequence at the 34 minute mark is back out on the balcony again. I will say this; Shauna definitely is into maintaining her hair as she’s constantly tending to it. We jump right into them already fucking in an open mish style with the camera about 6 feet away on a tripod. Very nice body display of Shauna and she looks at the camera several times. A “Hi Lorenzo!” would have been nice at this point, but that’s asking too much I think. During this scene, we finally catch a glimpse of the guy. Most of the shot is of his torso, but every now and then he leans a little more into the frame and while we don’t see much of his face, the brief glimpses show that he has “Douche bag hair” according to the criteria in the current issue of Details magazine. During this sequence, Shauna is completely naked, but given the camera position and the angles of their bodies, very little insertion is actually visible. Scene runs roughly 10-12 minutes and again we get no popshot.

Cut to Shauna walking outside and up some stairs in bikini and heels, and then we cut back inside to the room. Both are getting ready for bed, but Shauna expresses an urge for some ice cream, grabs the container that had been left out and to her dismay it’s all melted. Oh well, what’s a girl to do? Normally, you’d toss the container, but not in this case. Shauna starts spooning the liquid cream into her mouth and starts drooling a bit down onto her body and between her breastessess. She then pours some of the cream into her mouth and lets it run down her chest and body onto the floor. She also makes reference to her shoes being ruined from the cream. My big complaint and yours would be that very little if any of the cream actually gets drooled, rubbed or poured onto those luscious chest cupcakes, and I’m thinking that if they did get creamed Shauna’s shoes wouldn’t have been ruined. By now, we’re roughly an hour into the disk, guy is on his back, and Shauna starts spooning some cream onto his semi erect cock. For the next 8 – 10 minutes or so, Shauna alternates between drizzling some cream on his cock, sucking him, and jerking him off. Gets a little messy there with all the cream, but it works here. Shauna then lies on her back and the guy moves his cock close to her mouth. They alternate with her sucking on it, her stroking it, and him stroking it. After a few seconds, we switch to black and white mode and fade out. Overall, very well done here and IMHO a little editing of about 20 minutes or so wouldn’t have hurt this release at all. Best things about this are that no night vision goggles are used, there is no talking on the phone, no guy mugging for the camera, and no guy facial shots in general.

Pluses: Shauna is in literally ever second of this release and is naked in roughly 98% of this. The oral popshot is nicely captured. Douche bag hair boyfriend is in as little of the shots as possible. Nice body display. This was shot with a release in mind.

Minuses: Subtitled and not a lot of English spoken. Shauna is not the most vocal of people. No shout outs to Lorenzo. Only one popshot.

Sleaziness Factor (1-10): 2 for the cream scenes only. It’s still a Vivid product, so you get a quality product without the raincoat element.

Is it worth it? Definitely. This release is so well done that you could give it as a Christmas present.
